Since the last two days, as I watched the meetha romance between ShivIka, I just couldn't set that Tanya is my wife situation aside for even a moment. And I thought I'm the only one as almost every one thinks that it's fine now because ShivIka are together now and fighting and all, and Annika is a good bahu and wife etc. Nope!!! there are more here who are in the same boat as you, than you know. The ones fawning over it are at #twitter ... lol 😉😆
The ones here are the people who do not understand if there even IS a story, characters and plot left because the writer seems to be 'winging' it now
I don't get it, why is it so hard to get them talking realistically for ten minutes? Why, why can't they, for a minute, be husband and wife and talk about it rather than being the Great Wall of SSO and the OBahu? Yep, I agree but you see the writer saheba seems to have zilch experience in that department and hence we get FNP and dard games that teenagers or should I say pre-teens play
I'm not saying that they should shed their responsibilities, no! Just for ten minutes, fight like a married couple! Ask the valid questions with your head held high, not with tears streaming down your face as if you know that SSO has the power to just delete their relationship, their marriage in a jiffy and you cannot do anything!
... and so many on twitter were glad that she addressed that, rubbing it into the faces of some of us that actually asked and hounded her for it to happen... but she has again given a mere lollipop to shut us up as usual ... it is a half baked attempt at addressing it
See for me, as a writer, that should have be a natural progression from her for a married couple to address the 'Tanya is my wife' issue not something that the audience needs to hound you for and you provide it as an after thought
That is more like 'you can shut up now because I gave you want you wanted'
About what you said about Annika being an orphan and that she should think about the workers etc is so damn true! I know, she is a bahu, she has to protect her family but hasn't she met the Oberois? Tej Singh Oberoi, who was ready to kill his wife. SSO, who had vowed to actually ruin her life (and did). Pinky Singh Oberoi, who did every horrible thing to throw an orphan out of the house. I know it's your family and you should always protect it but blindly believe them? After very well knowing what they are capable of!
I'm just sad now. :(
