There is nothing left to destroy in this beautiful man who held his commitments and his promises in the highest of regard. For whom Family came first and he had reiterated to her that 'She Was Family' on numerous occasions. He swore all happiness and respect would be hers from now on and the writer stripped that man of all this with him saying that one statement that day.
She might as well have killed my Shivvay for what she made him do. The forced wedding was nothing compared to this blatant disowning of the woman he swore to love and honor.
For a man who claims to not be able to see tears in her eyes he sure knows how to rip her heart out and give it , still beating, in her hands while he mocks their sacred marriage vows, without even flinching. Yet again she is sacrificed at the Family Altar though he claimed that 'Naam, Khoon and Khandan' did not matter to him. Yet again she is satisfied with being sacrificed and has been praised for not even wanting to understand why it is that she is expendable time and again.
Kudos to the writer for such a sorry script. It is obvious from this how much she cares for the show and its viewers.
Today we watched 'Karva Chauth' between ShivIka and the majority 'Ohh-ed' and 'aahh-ed' as the writer once again wrapped romance around the fact that he disowned her just a few days ago.
Then the writer gives a scene where Annika takes the lead in the bathroom and we are supposed to applaud her for 'Nayi Sooch' I suppose. This is the extent to her forward thinking as a writer I guess, whereas honoring the institution of marriage and a wife's respect is not constituted as forward thinking. I suppose for her marriage is a jaded institution and respecting the sanctity of that relationship is a passe concept.
Annika used to be a self-respecting, forward thinking woman before the writer turned her into this alien who feels nothing. The writer has reduced this forward thinking woman in front of the media to a woman staying at OM who is NOT shivvay's wife and we are supposed to find the scene cute between this supposedly committed couple now. We are being asked to identify with them as a married couple that take their vows seriously.
Is it just me who is not finding this cute and funny??
How am I supposed to enjoy my ShivIka scenes when the man has not even been sensitive enough to address the issue of her being disowned and is flippantly teasing if she thought he was going to write Tanya's name on the card...
That is supposed to be sensitive and funny to your wife you just refused to acknowledge being married to a few days ago!!??? At this point I would think he would take the initiative and address the issue whether she wants to listen or not if he truly respected and loved her.
And Annika instead of threatening that she will rain fire and brimstone on him if he had written Tanya's name is saying she will have a go at Tanya, knowing fully that Tanya is only blackmailing him and is not remotely interested in him!!??
I would think she would ask him 'why would you write Tanya's name if according to you she is only blackmailing you? Is there something else going on that I am not aware of??'
Is this for real or are we so dumb that we find this real!!
Does the writer remember this that she wrote not to long ago!?? It was written to show Shivvay disowning his wife to the public, through the media, and announcing Tanya as his legally married wife.
He ripped his Izzat and his wife's to shred as an Oberoi because this was the same man who had, just 15 days prior to announcement, invited the whole media to witness his wedding to Annika with his whole Oberoi Clan present. I could almost see Ragini and Vikram snickering over their cocktails somewhere watching this on the news and Daksh grinning gleefully at the public humiliation Annika had to suffer, yet again, at Shivvay's hands.
The mockery she has made of ShivIka marriage has been forgotten by the teenage fangirls with the ShivIka romance lollipop that she has given them to suck on. This is the extent of her responsibility as a woman who is in the position to influence and mold young minds
Rumya marriage gave me doubts, it being brushed off to end Runya made me upset and now bringing Tanya in is downright disgusting train of thought for a woman who claims to fight for women's rights and applaud them for standing up for themselves.
This is what the writer wrote as a script - not me, so anyone who wants to bash at this post please address remarks to 'Harneetsin' at twitter. I am merely pointing out the fact that is as obvious as the nose on your face.
Besides that, as Ruzz so astutely pointed out, he is harboring criminals and shielding them IF they did indeed cause the fire and were responsible for it. And Shivvay doing it is even understandable but Annika so calmly falling in with the plans makes me wonder if she has a conscience left?? Did she not come from the same background that those poor workers were? How could she not for a moment think about the orphans or children of those workers?
Because writer saheba does not think like her character. The focus and obsession is only Shivvay and his character.
Tanya was brought in as wife to keep an eye on ShivIka 24/7 so that they do not conspire ... well we can already see that it is humanly impossible to keep an eye on someone who 'knows' you are keeping an eye on them. The writer has cancelled out her own justification of announcing Tanya as his wife.
Did Shivvay not sleep outside the room all night??
How did the writer think she was going to pull off Shivvay and Tanya in one room with this 'She needs to be married to him to keep an eye on him' bull-crap she fed us. So technically Shivvay and Annika could have spent the whole night together conspiring and formulating a plan while Tanya slept peacefully on their marriage bed.
I find it sick that there have been 'n' number of women, other than his wife, sharing that bed and bedroom but somehow the writer finds it very casual that they do so ...lol
Hmmm... I feel a 'My Dear Diary' page being written here 😉😆😆
It is gets clearer and clearer that we forget that announcement with all the romance and comedy she is covering it up with while she has gone and insulted the very relationship that has identified ShivIka. If these are not to be constituted as contorted disturbing dark fantasies imagined by the writer then I do not know what is.
Tanya could have been brought into the OM as any other person - wife of Shivvay Singh Oberoi was not necessary.
