I need to rant 😆 join the club 🤣🤣
The institution of marriage, family, and relationships were always a joke on serials, but IB takes it to another level because the ridiculousness is unnecessary and does nothing for the story 😆 All the serials I watch have third angles or villains to create conflict, but at least it makes sense in the story. Bang on ... that is exactly the point I am making and am frusrated about with this 3rd angle that the writer is obsessed with
There is no consistency, but the writers should at the very least try to present A STORY no matter how stupid and ridiculous it is. IB had months of Mahi, months of Peter and Svetlana, and now months of Tanya, which will all lead to absolutely nothing. You forgot Ragini and Samar who even got their own Promo with him courting this 'other woman' and getting engaged to her ... that one led to nothing as well ...lol
What exactly the purpose of the fake wife announcement? Now, she is off having her own romance instead of keeping an eye on him, which was the whole point of her existence in the story 😕 Yup!! and that is what I said as well... she was introduced to keep ShivIka apart but Shivvay slept outside the whole night and the next day she is shown keeping an eye on him again ... now it is our intelligence that is being mocked here and we are supposed to just turn a blind eye ...lol
I cannot believe people are praising her writing and enjoying it. If a few cheek rubs, a kiss here and there and a couple of eye locks is all it takes to get applause and praise why would any writer try harder for such an audience ... 😆😆

Shivaay, Anika, Gauri, Om, and Rudra's characters have been shot to hell for her "arcs". The writers are literally writing as they go. Need a villain? Make the leads villains by insulting their or discarding their wives. Need conflict? Have Om accuse Gauri of a disgusting accusation ...oh yeah also blackmail Shivaay and reduces his character to an insensitive idiot. The irony is a staple of his character was family reputation above all and yet he ruins his reputation single-handily. Anika making jokes about the whole situation isn't funny. Lollipop scenes of Shivika romancing or Om trying to win back Gauri doesn't change the fact the writing is bad. OMG!!! Word ... nothing to add here and I feel your frustration trust me with all the characters that you mentioned.
This is a classic case of taking your audience for granted. I remember the hoops the PH jumped through to make her previous show work to appease the TRP audience. Change everything to win the audience back, but IB continues to drown in cross dressing, disguises, fake wives, and consenting FLs despite having a loyal fanbase. because the women who are in charge are high on the praises of a few and are too obnoxious to see that they are sinking this very profitable ship. Unfortunately they are only good for a short stint not the kind that will withstand the long haul like other successful shows and PH's
