Dude, what is happening on the show lol. I'm so confused right now. What is the point of all this? lol ... trust me most of us are as confused and as perplexed as you are

I doubt the writers ran out of material since not much has been explored. IB wasn't known for amazing content but the writers are better than this lol. The writer has material she can explore but she is perpetually fascinated with the 3rd angle so much that there cannot be just Shivvay and wife in the story when she progresses it forward. This Raaz track needed the 'other women' you know or else how would it move into the 25 year old Raaz bit??
IB is shutting down because it is clear that the writer and the PH don't care about it. After the other show tanked they still do not see the potential that IB has and are ready to sink this one as well.

I think the whole team needs a drink and a vacation. whattt!! you mean in addition to the 'hash high' the writer is on??!!
Yaar !! ML's aur FL's mix up ho jayengey and the IB will become something else -Baaz 😆😆

At least in the past, the cameos and third wheels had a reason for being around and contributed something to the show. Now, PH is just throwing money at mediocre actors lol.
And what is amazing is that most of the audiences are not getting that this is not the route to go down for a show that needs at least another few months to run. They are happy with the romance - the fact that he has brought and declared another woman as his wife be damned.
Except for Tia and Svet no other Vamp really fit the need to in IB to move it forward, especially for the angle that they were brought in for.
Such a hype was made about Samar and Ragini. Samar vanished into thin air and Ragini was made into a psycho for the reboot
Now we face another reboot where Tanya has no purpose at all except to make a joke out of the commitment of marriage

Want to stall SR? Fine with me wasn't interested anyway but at least find a better reason.
Exactly!!! There could have been other tracks that could have made that happen. A normal and emotional spat between husband-wife can kill the SR mood or even the looming threat of the video sent to them about the factory can take away from the whole light mood.
No one wants to have an SR when the person has been sent a threat that could put all the Elders in his family in jail
Here the threat is there and the writer is showing them flirting and romancing. Is it just me or are the characters being made into bipolar people ... lol

New chick is pointless. Why not create a longterm conflict? The ML track is half-assed. Don't even want to start on the others lol. God!!! I don't want to even start about the new chick being introduced ... pointless is the word

Well I think you brought some interesting points. Remember I'm not saying you're wrong. This post is not about ShivIka being right or wrong. They are characters who only follow the script written for them. This is about what has been written as a script and its relevance to ShivIka equation and the Raaz track.

Watched today's episode so we know why Shivaay didn't necessarily confide Annika, mostly because he's being watched and he wants to protect Annika. I mean, she is his biggest weakness and these people didn't hesitate to hit Shivaay with a car even when they planned to use him. ... and green is exactly why you would take the trouble to warn your wife

In fact the blackmailer and Tanya's entire plan was to separate Shivika because they know that it'd be difficult to beat the couple when they worked together. Really!!?? but Shivvay slept outside the room that night ...lol How did they allow that if she is to keep an eye on him 24/7!!?? I did say on twitter that it is humanly impossible to keep an eye on someone all the time. Blackmail can work like Mrs. K's did. She didn't care if Annika was helping or not because the Ace was up her sleeve.

And this fake fight that they are showing is just the writer doing damage control for us asking the question I did 😆 Now they are justifying that Tanya fell for their fake fight ... they keep dishing out crap and we keep swallowing it ... 😉

The announcing her as his wife, is a lame track and lame writing ... it was totally not justified then and is still not justified now ... No one has yet given a logical response to why Tanya needed to be announced as his wife... that is the truth
Keeping an eye on him - the way she is doing now- could have been done even better as a house guest according to me because then Annika would not have suspected her and she would have won her confidence to share things

Of course, I agree. I would have hoped Shivaay would take Annika into confidence and share with her when Tanya isn't around. Which ultimatley happened just as I knew it would because there was no way they could have showed it otherwise for the track to move forward. A clueless Annika for more than 3 episodes is impossible

I didn't like watching Annika have to remind him of his vows and beg him to say it. That did not bother me as much as her not asking how he could announce Tanya with a straight face while she was standing right there. Did it not kill him even a little for tearing her heart out??!! That he did not even stutter and fumble even once while he did that with her, while watching tears filled eyes and face wearing the devastated look

A little bit of indignation at being taken for granted, a mild resentment if not full blown at always being his bargaining chip, a bit if bruising to the self-respect even though the trust is not shaken is a normal reaction even from a loving wife.
Gauri is a normal, red-blooded and devoted wife. Why can't the writer take the effort to make Annika relateable like her?? What is it that she has against Annika's character that compels her to butcher her over and over again??
Sorry but maybe I am daft and not understanding the depth of her writing here 😲

I understand Shivaay doesn't want to see Annika in danger, but the same goes with Annika, especially right in enemy territory. I attribute this to Shivaay trying to endure all the problem for his family alone, aka his personality. He has this need to protect his family, especially Annika. Shivaay showed these traits when Ragini came for one last round and he told Annika to get in the car. None of this justifies remotely why Tanya had to be announced as his wife.
We all know how Shivvay is about Annika and vice versa.

Like I said, wait for the entire track to unfold. Even still, you have brought up good points. I made a comment previously defending Shivika, and I'll stand by it
lol ... I am still waiting ... I don't know about the others but the ShivIka romance has lost its meaning for me since he announced Tanya as his wife and has not yet addressed how difficult it was for him to do that , that fateful day... so yes... I am waiting

Both Shivvay and Annika seems to take their marriage and the sanctity pretty lightly from what I see, playing this KC game and what not with Tanya. Neither felt major disgust that she was announced as his wife ... slow claps for 'in depth writing' 👏

This again is not about ShivIka - this is about the writers need for the 'Tanya is my wife' scene in this track that has not been justified.

No one is a bigger fan of the character Shivvay than I am but that does not mean you twist him out of shape and I will still blindly accept him after that. Shivvay, to me, is and was synonymous with commitment and standing by his relationships no matter what.
The track with Tanya killed that for me

hi all, my name is Ruchika and am an active follower but a poor contributor :)

have you noticed that both Shivaay and Om are different people when with their brothers/family and different when with their women.

I fail to understand both of them in this track. Om was so understanding of Ani when Shivaay had his poor opinion but is the same with gaur now. The same applied to Shivaay though he has appeared to change now.

Shivaay had really disappointed me this time. To give up on your wife and hurt humiliate her just because somebody blackmails you is not acceptable. This can happen anytime. The woman of his life can be given up on a drop of a hat. Their will be times in life when you have to make choices and Anika will be mother of kids and has to be his first choice. He had vowed to protect her and love her so this has left a bad taste.

Believe me, I am as big a fan of the show/couples as everybody else here.

Om was always the gentle one and to have become so judgemental... I think his experience with his parents and the grief his mum suffered has gotten him where he is. Difficult for him to trust anyone anymore with the amount of up downs with Tej. Lets see his redemption and if life teaches him to trust again. That is why it is important for him to visit Gauri's past, her problems with kali etc

I have seen a lot of people are against mocking of characters. This is fiction and mocking and frustrations are as much part of discussion as everything else. We are not on the payroll of PH so this is the place where people put forth their opinions, We are all mature and should be able to accept different opinions without starting a war.

Pls. ignore me if you don't agree :) I just love this forum in any case. It is my way of winding down from my life's stresses. Anyday better than twitter which is full of crazy teens :)

i watched the first shivika scene properly now

so someone please clarify this doubt for me as i am missing something here - to say i was disturbed is an under statement as this royally destroys shivika for me

ok so lets forget that shivaay's dialogues and assurances were half baked - he said he did this to save his family as casually as i ask my friends to go out for brunch every weekend, lol Ruzzie ... that is exactly what I felt ... kitney casually keh diya usney 😆 and kitney casually accept kar liya Annika ney 😲😉

mind you i dont put my partner in a limbo for these brunch dates but just hinting at the casual nature of his comments. also his family, mind you not theirs / ours - so she is still not really family for him yet - got it. ok, lets even forget this technicality for a bit - shivaay did this whole drama to save his bade papa - a known womanizer, who paraded his rakhel in front of his family for years 😕 which lead to his jaan se pyaara bro - Om's unginat suicide attempts, his pyaari ma - who basically got him kidnapped, got his look alike, got his wife chucked out, gives a damn about his happiness - and shakti, and spineless janvi - so for all these people (except shakti) he was ready to forget, humiliate his wife who almost died for him on several occasions. ok totally fine - a day in a husband's life to be so casual about his wife - got it as well,

no worries - wont question shivaay's motives here as i have resigned to the fact that by the time this show ends we might know oberoi mansion as shivaay's harem mansion - and all the teenage fan girls will go crazy over it like no tomorrow - nayi soch you see and exactly what every teenage girl is striving for in her life right now - totally get it 😆 Stop it Ruzz ... you are getting all the Har-Monal girls very excited with this thought 😆😆

what has royally bothered me is the way shivika saw the factory video with voice overs of people screaming while all the four extras (sorry senior oberois) run out. the fact that all of them came looking for each other and didnt even wait for a second to see if the other person they came looking for who by the way are their so called brothers, spouses etc. when the fire broke out is alive or not and just ran for their lives has me baffled - excuse i will get for this is that that video didnt capture everything - SUREEE. workers toh saste log hain so unke baare mein toh kya sochna when u cant even think about ur own family.

but please pay close attention to the way shivika watched it - like a factory burning with truckloads of people is an every day affair, also dont forget the amazing fact that the lives of those people were not imp as i saw zero expression of empathy on their faces. especially anika's who was always empathetic about others - yes i know they died 25 years ago but how many of us read or watch videos of calamities so casually. none of them reacted to lives lost - the whole premise of that convo was lets get to the bottom of the truth to save the family & not to bring anyone to justice. and sorry these are the protagonists and abhay who lost his parents or family supposedly in this factory wild fire is the antagonist - someone explain to me how??????

I cannot agree more with this Ruzzie ... I was appalled to and was surprised that neither of them even flinched wen they were watching ... I was imagining people stuck in there when I heard the screams in the scene

PS: only sensible people respond, not looking for a teenage response saying we got the cheek rub so everything is justified. bahahaha !!!! I can't even 🤣🤣

i saw shivika supporting a crime their family committed today more than anything else 😕 (Yes not proven but casual nature of that video scene has made me question why the f**k i even started watching this show I agree ... they want to protect their Family I get but they should have mentioned that they would be very disappointed and hurt if any of their elders was part of this act

Now coming to the current track . SC is SUCH a brilliant actress .. her pleading today was so so well enacted that i had to overlook how borderline sadistic is it. My problem with the whole track is why couldn't you spin all this a little where anika didnt have to be the one insulted.

Anika could have been the one suggesting to hide thier marriage, they could have made her a sansakari bahu and made shivaay look less of a senseless person that way .. but NO ! They chose the old age conventional way where anika has to go thru an insult, then she has to come to plead to shivaay .. no matter what he does .. in the forced marriage case she pleaded him to tell her why HE was angry ( daksh sleeping one) and now she had to remind him OF vows and stuff ..

Shivaay's justification of neev of the wall was also beautiful , i liked it .. but why do the writers have it it all in a manner that it insults the FL?

Also, i seriously dont understand this delay in SR .. i mean just get done with it yaar .. how many times are they gonna bring them close sensoulsy and then stop and then go back and almost kisss and all .. it is becoming funny now .. they are mature individuals .. it was a cute for a while but now its desperate

All i can say is that it is the writers fault for not developing Annika as a flesh and blood real woman

Many people have already commented here when Annika hugs Shivaay in the room, afraid of the dark, her begging , desperate plea to him asking him to confirm that he does remember her and that she is his wife, was so heart wrenching, I felt so bad for her, poor girl finally in her life feels like she belongs to someone and got the taste of a somewhat of a family/husband, relationship- she now does not want to let go of it at any cost... and even though later he says he does not want to put her in harms way, it lacks the conviction because of the constant yo yo in the storyline, to me it feels like, he knows she is not going anywhere... she will eventually forgive him!!
That is exactly what it is made to look like to us because the writer does not take Annika's character seriously anymore. It is the writing - not the character

God forbid my husband tries to pull a stunt like this on me- whether he has actually lost his memory or not, he is going to spend his day in the dog house!! It does not mean that wife always has to fight or quarrel but when the time to exert your opinion or your right that must be done then and there, it's a matter of one's own self respect, if you don't give yourself any importance and are the sacrificial lamb, everytime, that becomes normal for others, bang on ... I agree

I have seen this happening to my aunt growing up, now even if she tries to assertain herself no one including her kids pay attention.. this is the truth unfortunately...

It looked similar with the other pair in the show Om and Gauri but looks like they got some lines today, she actually expressed how he has been assasinating her character all this while and she has been forgiving him in the hopes of things getting better but alas she fell in love with the wrong person and some more powerpacked dialogues, they were the show stoppers to me in today's episode.. For me as well ... would you believe I am a ShivIka fan watching IB for RiKara??!! 😲 What I don't get in Annika I am taking the satisfaction watching in Gauri ... how sad is that

but I am too afraid as to how they are going to show Om's redemption? With these CV's you never know, this may go the comical way too and Gouri is back in Oberoi Mansion in 2 episodes!! What is new about that? ... they have already mocked marriage with ShivIka playing childish games with each other in the shadow of the 'other' woman, now they will mock that relationship where RiKara is concerned as well instead of giving a sensible track

So what's the solution for all the mess it creates in my head, I will FF the scenes, if they don't interest me or pretend like each day is a new episode, because lately that's how it looks like, lol

Just my two cents... not meant to hurt anyone's emotions or opinion.. You have not believe me .. thank you for writing

I basically checked out the moment Shivaay left OM the one hour after their wedding. What weird butchering of the storyline all to postpone the SR. In my eyes, Shivaay would not be gone for 15 straight days without sending a notification (like hello, a text message takes like 5 seconds). Anika should have been shown distraught and then furious, instead they gave her the superpower of "vishwaas" for two weeks which then continued on once Shivaay came back. Yep!! The writer has the uncanny knack to make it as unreal and as fantastical as you can make it ... granted she knew that he had met with an accident with all the blood that OmRu found at the scene so she was not angry with him but she not being even a little distraught was a bit too much for me as well

All this "pseudo-separation" was just some lame plot line to bring the girl into OM. Now why this girl had to be brought in as Shivaay's "wife" is beyond me. And me... I keep asking the answer on twitter and no one can give me a logical or sane reply to why the wife angle was needed.
She could have been Om's friend, Rudy's friend, Prinku's friend, Soumya's sister, Jhanvi's great-niece whatever. I am of the opinion that HS only knows how to write light-hearted scenes. It has been a colossal mistake for Gul to utilise her as the main writer for all the dramatic tracks of the script. It's showing very badly Not lighthearted ... in my opinion she takes marriage and relationships that come with marriage very lightly. The mockery she has made of ShivIka marriage has been forgotten by the teenage fangirls with the ShivIka romance lollipop that she has given them to suck on. This is the extent of her responsibility as a woman who is in the position to influence and mold young minds

Rumya marriage gave me doubts, it being brushed off to end Runya made me upset and now bringing Tanya in is downright disgusting train of thought for a woman who claims to fight for women's rights and applaud them

I've been watching the Shivika scenes as stand-alones this week, that's the only way to really digest this whole plot, because nothing even makes sense. TRP audiences are showing signs of fatigue, so I hope they give the makers their thumbs down for this week's episodes I frankly will be very surprised if TRP's go up seeing KC between a couple that has this kind of approach to their marriage and its vows
