Honestly, I don't care about SS, but the show should be entertaining.

No one is expecting logic or even consistency, but she has so much time and nothing entertaining to show. Her arcs have been rejected by TRP and online audience, but she is still going lol. How hard is it to show normal (normal in terms of desi serials)conflicts? If you can't come up with a conflict then why not just go with a happy wedding. The other couples could had their own romantic moments or buildup during the shaadi track. Why stretch this only to dumb down all the characters for a lame conflict no one is watching lol. Desi serials always have stupid misunderstandings to drag the story or create conflict, which is cool, but the set up is at least watchable. Here, one adult is getting married to a stranger because someone perceives her in a way she doesn't like while the other adult is getting married to a psycho out of retaliation. She is waiting for him to end a fake relationship she started while he believes whatever the random vamp tells him. That's some really amazing writing here. I'm sure everyone will be gathered around their TV to see how this turns out lol. Also equal SS doesn't mean shoving everyone into one couple's track.
Falling TRPs indicates that audience isn't happy with the tracks or bored. The PH usually does something about it, but here she keeps digging the hole deeper. With the other show they are actually making an effort to gain an audience and listening to the feedback, but its the opposite with IB. She gives interviews condemning the fans for not liking her bad ideas lol. I imagine it must be stressful to write for 3 shows and everything being rejected. Honestly, I would feel bad for her if she wasn't so passive aggressive on twitter lol.

The only thing good about the show was always and will always be MT, NM, SC, Shrenu, Lee, and Kunal.

Even I only knew Naakul when I started to watch this show, and Shrenu too I knew of. SC I had seen in QH but Kunal and Lee were totally new for me. I love them both so much now. They bring a totally different dynamic to the show. Their characters are so loved they even got a spin-off.

The characters were amazing and still are. If not for them we would not even watch. But they have been watered down and butchered. The girls are great too, and they are all infinitely watchable. Even with their strange phrases and language which I had never heard in my life! (Not being from India, I am not familiar with colloquialisms and street language). But it has been fun saying things like Michmichi, Deewar pe sata dena and Khidki thod! The charm of the characters and the actors are such people (The dedicated viwers that dont get respect) are still watching.

As veterans of 4L shows, we should know that RESPECT is not something GK or her writers have had for their audience. They drag the plot too much, they compromise the characters and when the viewer's complaint they get snarky with them. They defend their pathetic writing and poor product. What is with the "Theme" dressing all the time? Why all these gimmicks? The STORY is the king. After the characters, that is what everyone is waiting to see. The characters are great, the actors are even better. So they have their winning combo. Now if only they would write a "Proper" story instead of always dragging and beating about the bush, then people would watch. The show already has an audience, all they have to do is attract the lost viewers with some "Substance". Even I enjoy watching the whole story in its entirety, but it all has to be interlinked. Not randomly put together.

Many shows have multiple tracks and multiple pairings. Especially on Western TV they get this forumla right. The show "Brothers and Sisters" was a family Saga just like IB. The Walkers were kind of like the Oberois with a booming business and many scandals and skeletons in the closet, including Father's mistress, illegitimate child etc. This show has ALL that too. This story could have been done with an equally good script to appeal to many demographics. But they are more interested in doing a daily fashion show. It is style over substance for this PH. They have proven that even with their newly launched show, which has the most confused narrative ever. It proves actors are not enough. Story is very very important. In the case of Ishaqbaaz and Dil Bole Oberoi, it did not have major Stars, but got high ratings due to the appeal of the characters and acting being top notch. This show can now go really far if they utilize that with a good story. No one wants to watch 43 minutes of randomness. I know I dont. The only reason I do, is because when I see those actors together I cant resist watching them.

The reason we are all still addicted to the show are the actors and the characters and the magic they create even with a poor script! Imagining what they can do with a good story makes me want to cry! Knowing that tellyland will likely never bring back this combo of actors together breaks my heart! All that potential...

Good to see you here.

Yes, it has been proved time and again that story is indeed the king. Sometimes shows fail to garner TRPs despite having a good storyline but a good story is always appreciated. The show is now solely banking on the actors who are doing their best under the current circumstances. But there is no consistency in the storyline or characterization and there is absolutely no substance.

It isn't just the west that gets the formula right. In the past, sevaral popular youth based shows had parallel tracks, even Balaji had done shows with big ensemble cast. They have been successful too. It is indeed style over substance for this PH which keeps landing their shows in trouble. But they are just too arrogant to admit their own failure.

Nobody expects a desi show to have logic or consistency . None of them are. But there has to be some sort of balance. They is no reason why they couldn't have given us a happy wedding track instead of these stupid misunderstandings. I am sure all other SP shows are doing a much better job with their shaadi tracks.

The episode this week were worse than they were last week and I am sure the TRPs are going to fall even further. Will that be enough for the PH and the writer to get off their high horse? Who knows.

It is sole biasedness of writer thy will chose doom over giving good story to other characters and actors.Thy never stuck with promise made show for 2 character but it is limit till when u can stretch with same formula amd reached end so started rinse repeat. The other actors who were given most atrocious storyline of multilana crocodule in name of love story still actor rised and audience was loyal.Even ib now is back to its loyal base of 1.7 ish the rest left and will leave .Not just 1 hr show even half an hr show need to be interesting. Here they fail to.do.so.And gulneet ego is always brushed by fanatics who then story prefer nonsensical romance and wil rather watch 20 mins of favs then story and ahe thought same hold good fpr audiemce tat is where thy are wrong bec unlike.online Fanatics audience want substsance

The thing is, with almost an hour at hand, all the characters can get their own story and sufficient screen time. This unnecessary stretching is not benefitiing any couple. A show will always have all different kinds audience, it is their job to discern what really works for show...what has worked in the past and what doesn't. Even loyal fans don't want their favs to have unlimited screentime at the cost of character consistency.

What majority of the fans are demanding is a good, substantial plot which is no different from what the TRP audience wants.
