It is one true relationship that has an identity of it's own independent of where he comes from, his bloodline and his lineage.

Loved how you started bashing the people who bashed about Annika's track. Thank you! I just hate it when people start complaining and don't have patience to see how the track will end up.

This truth is major part of Shivaay's life the only people in the "circle" should be Shakti. Pinky, Kamini, Shivaay, and Mahi. I really like what you said on the double standards of Shivaay its clear proof that Annika isn't that special to him. Oh my gosh Shivaay what does the girl have to do? She literally took a bullet for you man!
Shivvay has a very difficult journey ahead of him and he is not equipped for it at all, not like Annika is.

Can we all just take a minute and talk about the outstandingly amazing Jhanvi this woman 👏. So understanding and loving! She knows the value of special and rare "things" (in this case Annika, Gauri, and I guess you could count in Bhavya). The quote you have quoted her on was brilliantly said by her to Pinky!
She is so the older version of Annika.

One more positive of this track is that we will get a different setting, other than OM. 300 episodes have passed and only OM is shown. yeah! now that the pool is free and not being used they should do a quick maintenance on it before Mrs. ASSO comes back ..lol 🤣

Wow!! Omg Pearl, you really are an amazing story teller!! Your post truly changed my perspective. I was pissed off with the way they were bringing in the separation, showing so much of stupidity! But after reading yours and Anisa's posts, I'm converted! If the CVs are really thinking this way, it would be a good progress in ShivIka's relationship.

TBH, I really wasn't very happy with the sudden fast progress in their relationship, there was so much unresolved - even though all their scenes were amazing and showed beautiful chemistry - but it lacked the main essence - as the main core of this show is "takkar" ki jodi. Even though both of them give takkar to each other in every way, the way it is portrayed is that Shivaay has always felt superior to her and Annika feels inferior (not because she actually feels she isn't good enough but because of his NKK beliefs). If you observe, Shivaay tells Om that he doesn't care about Annika's NKK anymore but it is still a sore subject for him and if somebody questioned him, he won't know how to react. Shivaay has accepted Annika despite her "flaws" is what he feels, which is why he never felt the need to apologise for the way he married her or for all the wrong he had done to her in the past. He feels having NKK makes him superior.

Yes, he feels sorry for all the Annika has gone through in life, he wants to be her support but it is always in they way that he will take care of her now as he has accepted her in his life. But if you are supposed to be equals in a relationship, then nobody is superior! And this is the major hurdle in their relationship, bcoz anytime an issue arises against Annika, he either supports her thinking that she doesn't know how to live in a family or he just bellows and blames her! When it is Annika vs family, it is always family. So this equation where he thinks his NKK makes him and his family better always needed to change for their relationship to succeed! Bcoz they truly are takkar ki jodi and neither of them will / should accept a lower place!

I wasn't happy about the fact that half the family knows the truth and they still support Annika in doing all the drama of getting thrown out. But after reading Anisa's and your posts I realised, it's true that Jhanvi and OmRu never truly had that voice or strength to go against Pinky in this house. The only person who can shut Pinky up is Shivaay and Dadi sometimes. When Shivaay is down, NOBODY could take a stand against her (eg: Shivaay in hospital after being shot). So true, they think they can handle Shivaay but now I agree, they probably can't. And Annika is right, he is not ready to learn about his life's truth! Everybody knows this and so they are supporting her decision!

Annika has always been the stronger character, even when she has shed buckets full of tears! 😆

She has faced so much in life, that she knows she can survive abandonment (mind you she never actually thought that she would have a whole family for herself), she always believed that the day her truth of being an orphan came out, she would be back to being alone with only Sahil by her side. She has seen every horrible situation an illegitimate child or an orphan could face in this world. Hence, her sympathy towards Mahi and towards how Shivaay would take this truth!

They have shown Shivaay to turn dumb towards her hints, but when you understand it, it shows that he is ignoring the signs becoz he subconsciously isn't ready to accept that something is wrong with one of his family members. When NT's truth was being investigated, he was the one insisting that there must be someone in the house helping her, but ever since Annika called out that it was Pinky, he totally shut his mind to the fact that any family member could be working against them! Om tried to ask him but he din't want to think about it. Even now he sees her sad and tensed, he realises something is wrong but he keeps trying to make up situations that would cheer her up instead of trying to investigate what is wrong - reason is, right now there is no external enemy and the only possible enemy would be someone in the house and he subconsciously doesn't even want to think about anything like that! Which is why he is being so stupid! 😆

Well Shivaay has had a great life living in a basket full of roses, unlike Gul's other male leads. So now is the time where he has to go through life's harsh realities. He will suffer from heart break and then once he comes to know his truth he has to overcome those hardships to truly be equal to Annika. Bcoz from where I see it, unless he has suffered at least a fraction of how much Annika has suffered, he will not be her equal! He has been too lucky in life, the twin who got picked to have the silver spoon in his mouth, the guy who ended up marrying a gem of a girl despite being surrounded by so many enemies - he never had to endure any hardships and he thinks that is bcoz God also helps those who have good NKK. I so wish Annika's lines during the early days are played back to him when he comes to know the truth, that he was lucky that he was born in the Oberoi family!

Well I ended up typing a long post, but reading your perspective really uplifted my mood! 😉

I just hope this truth comes out soon, I dont care about new entries and all that and I'm fine if they will take ages to truly get back to each other, but I want the truth to be out soon! Shivaay should know the truth about Pinky, even if his illegitimacy truth comes later, he should atleast know that Annika did whatever she did bcoz of Pinky's blackmail! He can dig into the details for himself later. About OmRu and Jhanvi helping them get back together, I dont think so.. I think they may be the last ones to finally open his eyes after he comes to realise everything, then maybe they will tell him that they all knew about her plan and supported her for his happiness!

darling if u think i donno how long it takes men to become husbands then let me tell u i hv been married for 10+ yrs ... n frankly though i dont hv a MIL like pinky mine isnt like jhanvi either...4 yrs of my marriage initially i hv suffered a lot ... in laws r called in laws coz they r family by law ...misunderstanding comes in many marriages but a husband needs to remember that after marriage for the girl the only person she can call hers by all means is her husband... rest all r relations coz of her relationship with husband... with shivaay things r bit slower than normal men...true that but he is living in an illusion and he calls that life...om as time and again told him shivaay real life jee ke dekho... when we live is very sheltered... it isnt real world...

im giving shivaay all the space dear... n i totally hv no problem with those who think shivaay is right in doing what he does...every time he yells at annika in public ...lets her be insulted by all infront of all and then apologizes in private... if its public yelling n humiliation, apology shud also come in public... u cannot at every point expect that i will yell when im angry but will apologize when im calm and that too in confines of our room... annika too needs to be given the respect she as the elder bahu deserves rather she as shivaay's wife deserves... i as a woman and wife who has suffered coz of MIL know what it means when ur husband isnt ur support and expects u to understand everything but is deaf to his mother's insults...i tolerated all for 6 months n then clearly told my husband... if u love me like u claim and if u think what ur mom is doing is right then tell me... for love i cant let my self respect be trampled again and again...i wont listen to insults to my parents... as long as im insulted i can tolerate but not my parents... i wont keep quiet...if i say something nasty as u rnt taking any stand despite seeing it all, dont blame me... thats when hubby stepped in and at every wrong allegation he not just defied it ...proved why the allegation was wrong and who was at fault... shivaay needs to up himself n prove that he is a husband too...

Where do I begin, agree that Shivaay has not become Anika's Shivaay as Rudra said he would become one day. He still some time away from that. He does not realize that he was looking a gift horse in the mouth with Anika as his wife. He is going to miss her presence in his life keenly and will blame her for the same.
Of course he will blame her. Did she not say that if there is no water in the taps in Mumbai even that he would blame on her ??!! 🤣 🤣
He needs but one excuse to be around her be it love or hate, it don't matter to the man ... 😆

The man who could not bear that his Anika was talking over the phone to a Rohit, could break the phone for daring to do that, makes me think he is going to look for her obsessively, to rub it in her face that he is fine, all is hunky dory with him. He does not care one whit for her whilst trying to find out 'his Zimmedari' is doing ok. Oh! yeah ... he probably put Khanna on her tail the hour after he threw her out ..lol 😆

Don't think their meeting would be accidental. It is the beginning of a fresh score card with round one going to Shivaay, he would like to think that but I have a feeling that it is going to be Anika now. 😃 I am glad that I am not the only one not falling for this accidental meeting crap. In a population like India's the chances of that happening are very very slim and that too if you are not actively looking for the person.

Want Shivaay to ruminate over what she said over the last few days and how he missed seeing her obvious pain and distress at his mother's word. He is going to face the reality, not bury his head in the sand aka Oberoi family. He will be seething and fuming over her abandonment of him, that will be the core of the issue and the lack of trust.
I am looking forward to him being alone in the room and without her by his side.

Jhanvi uttered the truth when she said that Pinky's fate has only tears now. The words have been hurled and nothing can ever heal the wound. Time may conceal the wound, but the scar remains. A scarred and formidable Shivaay will emerge looking for the one person who turned him into a Billu. Yup! that boy is addicted to her. His Annika radar is enough to track her down

As far as the new entry is concerned, she may have NKK but will not give the time of day to Pinky. She will trample her and may even ill treat her for her coarse language, with Shivaay not caring what happens either way. Pinky's road to redemption will start when her son will not give her the time of the day along with the rest of the family. She will be isolated and will begin to appreciate what a gem she had as a bahu in Anika. Pinky Ka bahut kuch honey wala hai starting with Tej entering the OM the say the illegitimacy comes out. The OMM begins 😆

Wondering about Tia and her role post the separation. I hope they have Robin as well. I really like their pair. Annika probably lives with Tia at her home or they gave Annika Robins home to live in to start afresh and away from Shivvay. But I am positive that they know where Annika is and are helping her start life again. I hope they show Mallika helping too.

I am looking forward to the coming days. a new chapter in the Shivika tale. Anika will be strong emotionally and may not let her Shivaay walk all over her or manhandle her like he used too.

Gouri, Agreed and understood!!! I did not side Shivaay in any way. I was trying to say he is like that, and he will take a lot of time than the normal person to understand this straight point because his understanding is always twisted. You and I should agree to the point that he had toned down a little, but he has a long long long way to go to become husband in every true sense...!!! He is already occupied a lot from the beginning, he had just started giving her a teeny-tiny part, now all hell broke loose... To me, Its just begun for him.

I got reminded of Shivika confrontation after Dev incident in OM in which she will be fired and she will later speak back and resigns her job. I still feel somewhere down the line, they are still in that zone.

I'm still sticking in to IB even if the spoilers are scary, is because I can relate to the characters, though fictional, I can relate to them (except few dialogs and scenarios of course) to me they are fictional real life characters!!!
Oh! Absolutely so. I did say they were the most 'Real' reel couple with their weaknesses and fears like normal people have

Shivaay:
I still believe he isn't that strong enough to take up to the truth, digest them and absorb them just like OmRu and Janvi did!!! Because they are simple in their ways!!! But Shivaay, the pride he wears and he is proud of has so many layers. True and I completely agree

Annika staying with him unconditionally no matter what, won't make him realise it. To cherish a person You need to realise their true value. For this, a break is needed. To realise the true value, to understand their limitations and strengths, a break is needed. To ponder into yourself, you need a break. Yup! we have all done that in our relationships and have come back stronger knowing what we want and what we have to offer to the deal we made.

Sons are always like that. What Annika told today is true, theirs was just months Long relationship, but what he shares with Pinky was life Long. Sons are just now bound by love to their Mother, they are also bound by responsibility, obligation and gratitude too. They might break the bond of love, but the others cannot be broken. If love is there, the other bondings are invisible, but when the bond of love breaks, the other bondings become shackes. Shivaay is serving his family selflessly out of love not out of gratitude, when the whole foundation of love shakes up, then he will still continue to serve the family, but lifelessly.
Only Annika seems to understand the harsh truth.
Again I agree. He has to still learn to balance the two and most importantly be able to see the truth about his Family no matter how harsh it is.

What I am looking forward to is - his frame of mind in the break time till he meets her again. Will he give her benefit of doubt at least in his mind, of just declare guilty just like he did before marriage?

She knows how it is not to have a family. She knows how it is to have a family (now that she had mingled with Oberois for nearly a year). She knows how it is to lose a family. She knows how it is when the person you consider as a family doesnt even consider you worth enough (Thanks to Bandari bua) She knows how it feels if people call you 'paap ki nishani' or 'najayez' or 'anath' She will never wish such a fate even for her enemies. During Tia phase, she was concerned more for the effect of Tia's baby than Tia's actions on them. She knows how it feels if earth is pulled off from your feet. But Shivaay doesnt. He can understand and assume, but can never relate and realize. True
Agreed, OmRu, Jhanvi are concerned about Shivaay. They are sure they can manage Shivaay after relevation. They can console them. No, they don't. They can double the care and love and provide them, but the void and dent once created cannot be mended. I was pondering over why Annika is adamant on leaving Shivaay, giving in to Pinky's blackmail. I could come to only one possible and logical (forget logics in IB! still my mind needs one to accept, you know) point. Shivaay will fight for the family and will go to any extent to save and protect his family. But when it comes to his turn, he gives up easily. He gives into the situation. Remember during Tia's pregnancy fiasco, it was Annika who wanted him to fight for him, to believe in his instincts. She believed his instincts, not even one family member did. That was just a small phase of his life. True again

Shivaay-Annika:

This scenerio is very huge... His whole being exists on this NKK. If that shakes up, it will take a very long time for him to even stand up, let alone walk forward with his head held high up like now. This is what she is concerned about. By that time, the wall is back, the whole family will succumb to outside threats and attacks. Without him, the whole family doesnt exists, how so ever the family members are, but all are bound by them. He is the patriarch of the family. She knows how this family structure is and how it functions. Pinky might want Shivaay to her herself, but she never had him, in the first place. He always placed his family members on equal pedestal, except for his brothers and dadi. She and Shakti wanted Shivaay for their family, rather for them (This is what I feel so.) So speaking this way, she is moving away from Shivaay and giving him back to his family. Either way, Pinky can never get Shivaay, because never a moment had she loved Shivaay selflessly. His brothers and Annika are the only ones who love him without any returns just his company and his sanity... Even in the end, it will be only them, who will have his side and who will stay in his side. Once after this break they get back together as a couple, they will be the anchor and foundation for the whole family to come in the future.
Annika can think like Shivaay put into a situation. But Shivaay cannot. This statement is so true and shows how deep Annika is invested in this relationship compared to Shivvay

Besides, Annika is Shivaay's strength, the opposite cannot be said. Thereby the gap. Hope the best for them for this break and meetup later. I hope they become "Aapki Annika" and "Tumhara Shivaay" Considering the other as theirs is easy, but giving oneself to the other and let them treat their way needs selfless loyalty and fierce trust. I look forward to that day.

According to Dadi, mere pote is ghar ko batna nahin denge. And they will never let her down, now that their wives have started to place the family's honor above themselves and their relationship. That is sad to hear that the woman has to depend on her grandsons - not her sons to keep the house together.

Yes, Shivay should be more clued in to the fact that something is not right wiith Anika. That this is not who Anika is and so there must be a reason for it - as concluded by OmRu. That Anika has always spoken the bare truth without thinking of the consequences hence if she is saying something, whether he likes it or not, there must be some truth in it & he should be looking into it. but that is where the problem lies. He knows deep down what it is but he is too afraid to face the truth because it involves his Family - a.k.a his mother. He is never going to see the truth Shanry unless he truly wants to.
Truth is not handed on a platter - one has to seek it.

But leaving him to the dogs and walking away is not the solution. She has no choice the way i see it but of course I could be wrong.

If Pinky wants to tell Shivaay the truth, how is that Anika's fault?
Pinky is not going to just tell him the truth Shanry.. she had called the media to make a scene and bring it out in a cruel and hurtful way. It was Annika who probably blurted out the Om's illegitimacy thing and covered the whole thing up. I am sure it will end up being 'damage control' on her part to stop Pinky from announcing it that way

Walking away is not a guarantee that Shivaay will never find out. True but why does it have to be her guilt to bear that he found out because of her. Maybe she does not want that guilt on her head for breaking the man she is so fiercely proud of.

Being there when he is told will mean she can stand by him and hold him up through the trauma. Leaving will mean, if he ever finds out, she will not know and so she will not be there for him when he most needs her. If the truth comes out she is sure to find out as it will hit the papers and media. She can be there for him then. It is a chance she has to take knowing that Pinky will not kill her prize race horse.

Why should she be there to support him? Because she is Ishqbaazi. Sounds cheesy & cliched but that's the whole point of this serial. People will eventually fall so in love that nothing else matters. If Anika is in such a place, she should be there for Shivaay at any cost.
Support him from what?? Even if she stays she knows Pinky will pull another trick and then another and then another and Shivvay will remain blissfully unaware of all the stress that she has to go thru to keep this one secret safe. That sounds very very exhausting to me.

Sacrificing herself is not saving her bhagad billa, it's merely sacrificing him too.
She is not sacrificing because Shivvay has not asked her to stay despite his mother announcing his NKK. She is giving him his Family because that is the man he is. It is love and his happiness is his Family. He did not choose her Shanry - he choose his mother when the NT revelation happened. He does not want the truth - he wants the illusion

She may not see this as she values his relationship with his mum more than his relationship with her. But she must have seen by now that Shivay does not have a mother. All he has is a user that requires him to perpetuate her standing in society. So whom exactly is she protecting - Shivaay or Pinky?
I agree but the choice is not that simple because Shivvay refuses to see and chooses to remind blind. She cannot force him to see the truth Shanry - he has to find it himself.

Jhanvi was right. It's not worth it.
It is worth it for Annika. She gave him what he wants - he choose Family over and over again even in the end (Om's illegitimacy) and she gifted them to him.

im giving shivaay all the space dear... n i totally hv no problem with those who think shivaay is right in doing what he does...every time he yells at annika in public ...lets her be insulted by all infront of all and then apologizes in private... if its public yelling n humiliation, apology shud also come in public... u cannot at every point expect that i will yell when im angry but will apologize when im calm and that too in confines of our room... annika too needs to be given the respect she as the elder bahu deserves rather she as shivaay's wife deserves... i as a woman and wife who has suffered coz of MIL know what it means when ur husband isnt ur support and expects u to understand everything but is deaf to his mother's insults...i tolerated all for 6 months n then clearly told my husband... if u love me like u claim and if u think what ur mom is doing is right then tell me... for love i cant let my self respect be trampled again and again...i wont listen to insults to my parents... as long as im insulted i can tolerate but not my parents... i wont keep quiet...if i say something nasty as u rnt taking any stand despite seeing it all, dont blame me... thats when hubby stepped in and at every wrong allegation he not just defied it ...proved why the allegation was wrong and who was at fault... shivaay needs to up himself n prove that he is a husband too...

Gouri, Agreed and understood!!! I did not side Shivaay in any way. I was trying to say he is like that, and he will take a lot of time than the normal person to understand this straight point because his understanding is always twisted. You and I should agree to the point that he had toned down a little, but he has a long long long way to go to become husband in every true sense...!!! He is already occupied a lot from the beginning, he had just started giving her a teeny-tiny part, now all hell broke loose... To me, Its just begun for him.

I got reminded of Shivika confrontation after Dev incident in OM in which she will be fired and she will later speak back and resigns her job. I still feel somewhere down the line, they are still in that zone.

P.S: btw, I did not mean to offend in any way, if so, not intentional. I just felt you were riled up a bit 😆 so just wanted to bring down...😊

Thank you for ur concern dear but i am not riled up...this is a mere show for me ... the post wasnt for those like u who agree shivaay has a long way to go as a husband...it was more for the unmarried who think shivaay is doing so much and yet annika wants to break him...for those who think shivaay can tolerate his illegitimacy...for those who think annika shud tell him the reality...annika shud stick by to protect him... my post was to them...simple...yes annika loves him but why is she expected to pick him up? when he hasnt been the husband... all he recently thot was to seal the deal...get physically intimate with her and has failed to see what she is going thru...how his mother treats her at every opportunity she gets... though annika said the truth that pinky always insults her n y shud she keep listening to it just coz she is shivaay's mother... annika broke down coz she knows she hurt shivaay... this same things doesnt happen with shivaay... he yells at annika even if she isnt at fault ...later says she is mahan as without being at fault she apologized...but whr is the self respect then... that cant happen everytime na... he doesnt think...forget cry or break down coz his mom misbehaves with annika...he doesnt think how to make it fine between them...he expects annika to remain annika...his dialogue... tum toh aise nahi thi...tumhe kab se jewelery mein interest aaya... if u dint like it we will get it changed...even after annika said it sint about jewelery it is about the respect... yes atleast ritual ke naam pe respect dena chahiye tha pinky ne...
