First of all let me tell you I could not have said what you said better. This is not a bash Shivvay post as some may think - this is about a "Shivvay the husband - Work in Progress" post 🤣
I am only going to highlight a few things that stuck me very deep while reading this because these points kinda hit home.
Let me talk about only the time after Shivaay declared Annika as his biwi... Annika Meri biwi hai...
After that declaration Annika helped get him out from his kidnap.. Annika kept feeling there was smthing wrong with him... She kept getting vibes that Mahi wasn't Shivaay .. Shivaay was in danger... He gave credit to Annika... Annika took a bullet for him... Yes it just brushed her and went... Nonetheless She saved him...
He got beaten by goons n got just a sprain... His Mom was all over him with babaji's lep but dint bothered asking how Annika was even once... Was Shivaay blind that none bothers about Annika? Especially his mother? Was he so blind that he can't see his mother hates Annika?
Annika told him she went to see Mahi Coz someone so clos on looks n hving same voice can't be mere coincidence...he says let police do their work... U don't interfere... He wasn't bothered even one bit that someone looks exactly like him, has same voice stayed as him and yet dint steal anything... Weird... No connection? Then why was Mahi in OM at all? He doesn't even know Mahi is kamini's son...
His lack of finding out backgrounds of ppl if they r from respectable professions is seen clearly... His NKK is way too ingrained... Just Coz ranveer is ACP he dint bothered finding bout kamini on his own... True. Anyone who thinks for a moment, that he can survie without his NKK right now only needs to see Shivvay in action with his Taddi, pride, vanity, attitude and his whole swagger that makes him - HIM. He is the true and right 'Blue Blooded' Prince and that is all his identity is attached to. Who is Shivvay without all this?? Frankly even Shivvay does not know.
Pinky has created a Male Version of herself.
Else he wud hv known kamini isn't ranveer's mother n mahi is kamini's son...
He shuns Annika from finding out the truth as well...
Someone already pointed out... Shivaay Dint bother finding out bout Mahi coz Mahi's language proved it he is a Sadak chap and Shivaay know he is najayaz... So y bother finding bout him... He isn't Someone with NKK that Shivaay shud b bothered...
Annika find Mahi's truth but doesn't tell Shivaay coz she is wondering how to tell him... It's a huge truth... It will shake his foundation... She contemplates telling Om but doesn't... She shud keep quiet and bare it for sanity of the house... Pinky aunty will be hurt... Shivaay will b devastated... Let me keep all in dark of what they don't know... If mahi ha slept quiet for 32 yrs he will keep quiet even now... Does annika want to be the reason to break Shivaay's bubble? No... She Let's him stay in peace as he is...
Shivaay's business press conference n even after him telling pan wala that don't share my no with nayantara...She comes there claiming to be Annika's mother... Shivaay When Got to know bout nayantara from orphanage matron dint ask even once how he got her name and location? If he can get now why dint Annika know about it till now? No questions asked... He got name n location n he went... Coz His Need to dig out NKK was so deep that he doesn't even think y Annika doesn't know bout her mom for so many yrs if matron can give him the name and location in one day... Till Now all his findings about Annika's NKK he has shared with pinky... He doesn't doubt pinky even once though he sees her taunting n hurting Annika every time... Y will he doubt pinky... Coz Pinky is his mom... She has NKK... Why will she stoop so low... Only ppl without NKK can stoop low...
When Annika blamed pinky from r getting NT he yelled at her... Agreed He doesn't believe his mom can do such a thing... He dint trust Annika.. N annika was wrong... She pointed it out at wrong time n wrong place... She dint collect enuf proof against pinky... She just blamed infront of all...
But after NT's exit... When Om asked y did NT come here... Shivaay says money... Om points She cud hv taken it when she kidnapped sahil... Shivaay has no answer to that... He doesn't even think who has helped NT... He Knows someone did but who and why... He doesn't try finding out... If he did then he wud hv been a husband who respects his wife n her self respect... When it comes to HIS family he is willing to destroy the opposing person without even thinking if his family is right or wrong... He isn't on right or truth ka side... He is always just on HIS family's side... N annika Still isn't his family... He just says she is... If she really was... He wud hv destroyed NT and found out who tried to get NT in OM as Annika's mother and also hurt Annika coz Annika nvr saw her mom for so many yrs... She lived in an orphanage... A life filled with difficulties... Who dug her wounds by getting a fake mother to demean Annika... Did Shivaay try finding that out? Nopes he dint...
Prinku's wedding... He yelled at Annika... And later said I know u dint do anything... But Then who did...why did ranveer thank Annika... If annika Cud see the cctv footage so can Shivaay... Did he bother finding out... If annika Dint do it who did it... Coz whoever did it wanted others to feel Annika did it...
Annika spoke the truth that OMRu don't deserve his shares... Nuthing in this life comes for free... Nuthing shud... If OMRu can get his free shares so shud Annika coz if they r his brothers she is his wife... Her future too is his responsibility in that case...
What she said about pinky too that Har saas sirf anpi bahu pe ilzaam Dalti hai... Well Well Shivaay u ur self said mom ka Rina dhona...he Knows his mom does nautanki... So y not think even once that may b Annika is saying truth... Mom does want to trouble her all the time... N She does taunt n insult Annika always... Just Coz annika doesn't say anything doesn't time an she doesn't get hurt... She is human after all... Shivaay sees annika like this but doesn't once think may b his mom is at fault and she needs to be told that whatever it is Annika is his wife n she needs to get full respect as his wife... His wife may be an orphan but now she is Shivaay's respect... So If his wife isn't given full respect it is he who isn't being given respect... Annika Even said jisne galati kiyi woh mauffi mange... Did Shivaay think about all event pinky did with Annika till now... No He was just in his hope for SR and kept waiting for Annika... Thinking how can she stay away from bedroom...

He has been wondering and has clearly seen every time anika pinky converse... Annika loses light from her eyes... Annika has tears in her eyes... Smthing is wrong he knows but he doesn't bother finding out what is wrong... Y? Coz Annika isn't isn't as imp to him as his family... Annika rightly told Jhanvi... For a few months with her, he can't leave his mom of life... He hasn't reached that level yet... He can't. For all the people saying that she is leaving and she should not, please understand that the man really can't love Annika as much as he loves his mother and Family, right now. He may once he realizes that she too was his Family but right now she is still the outsider.
Annika telling media his double standards of her NKK and his brother's NKK makes him fume with so much anger that he breaks his marriage then and there with her... Tia Did so bad with whole family... Tried killing annika multiple times but he nvr humiliated her infront of all... Tia infront of media told she was going to mother Shivaay's child... Yet he kept quiet... Here annika speaks one truth(for Shivaay that's the truth that Om is illegitimate) and she has the chip fiasco to talk about and he breaks his relationship with her infront of all... Wow So much for her being his family... ha! ha! .. I too thought of the same thing 😆
She is deffo using his weakness but whatever Annika has said and used till now are the truths as per Shivaay... And that is the major difference between Pinky and Annika in his life.
Pinky twists even the lies and he will pay undivided attention to it, while Annika speaks the truth and it does not catch his attention even once. He is shocked that she wants a grand wedding, he is shocked that she mentioned that Tia had it better than her, he is shocked that he has double standards... really Shivvay??!! I am shocked that you are shocked about what is just the very stark truth.
All she said to him today from the time she stood in front of the 'Mandap', none of it was lies. But his ego was bruised, his pride was hurt and his vanity was attacked so the NKK monster rose and snarled back at her, instead of Shivvay the husband placating her like he does with his 'nautanki' mother. If Pinky's hysterics can be borne by him why not his wife's.
Shivvay could have saved this marriage if had truly wanted to but he chose to listen to his bruised NKK rather than his bruised wife.
If They r truth y shud she punished for them and not the ones who r the culprits or victims of that truth? She as a carrier of these news is being punished... That Just shows whr she stands in his life... He is infatuated, besotted by her not in love... He talks about trust and faith being foundation of their relationship... Anath is very different from Najayaz. Annika is an 'Anath' and she suffered so much and we are not unknown to what Mahi suffered for being 'Najayaz'. Annika, now that she has grown up, does not have those many people taunting her as Mahi still has.

All in all... Shivaay As per me hasn't reached there yet as a husband... He has got Annika too easily... He doesn't deserve her yet... Yes he took a bullet for her... So did she... She acknowledges she lives him... He yet doesn't do that to himself as well... Just after talking to daadi he thot he was in love... But it's more the teenage butterfly love... Not deep enuf to leave it for for its own good...
See the conviction OMRu had that there is something bothering Annika... Ru Knows annika loves them. And hence cud take her hand n keep on his head and ask for kasam...shivaay sees her lost n in tears... Asks her... Knows she isnt giving real answer... But beyond that let's it be... Doesnt dig it... If he was convinced she was in trouble or was disturbed... He too cud hv given kasam and asked her... But no he won't as he isn't yet there...
