as far as the question goes y is it Annika's truth to tell? i totally agree...she wouldn't be able to live with the guilt of breaking him apart and she shouldn't...however,such (as u said) a man that lives in th illusion of NKK...to break him after everything they both went through isn't right at all
maybe if she would have left without a trace and just wrote some dramatic note would have been better...her reasoning might be correct but her actions aren't

with everything she's doing...she's proving to him that the bubble he lives in is truth (like the time she accepted his money in the rain...he looked disappointed that she proved him right)

plus...Annika's insecurities are part of this too...she's always one foot in...one foot out...ready to jump off this relation the moment something goes wrong (even after giving many reassurances)...that jungle track's arc was to ASSURE HER THAT ONLY THEY CAN BREAK THEM...& THAT HE WANTS THIS RELATION & SO DOES SHE
him shouting at her or yelling or ect doesn't justify her insecurity at all...i think she too doesn't think of herself as his family too,maybe cause she doesn't know yet what it means to belong to one...she's insecure not because of his actions but because she's scared of pain of being left ...so she takes the first step to leave...always

although i don't like the idea that shivika's separation would be her vacation from the family problems but i guess its the bitter truth...if pinky & everyone had appreciated what she did to the family we wouldn't be in this miss...but one thing for sure...she won't be at peace...not because she's mahan or she's in love...it's because she thinks of them as family despite what they think...love isn't about what the other side offers it's about what u give

as for shivaay:
shivaay without NKK isn't just a husbad Asya...he's a brother,a son and grand son too...i really believed that if they continued without separation then shivaay might have lost his faith in NKK but annika doing all of this will only bring him back to a rougher,colder and more tortured version

he needs to have ABSOLUTE TRUST in Annika,...she needs really to become PART OF HIS FAMILY...i was wondering if the whole prinku marriage video showed any 1 other than annika would he have believed??no he would have paid more attention
he thinks of her as his family ..yes...if u tell him to choose between hurting her and them he wouldn't choose (already proved it)...he'll stand by her side without evidence against his family(Rudra's wedding) THE ONLY PROBLEM HERE IS THAT HE IS EFFECTED BY HIS MOTHER...emotional blackmail always works

on the other hand, even if OmRu were to accuse pinky in front of shivaay he wouldn't have believed them (when om lost faith in tej when tej & shakti went to jail ... they both started yelling at eachother ...which means shivaay at least acted with her the same as with his brothers when it comes to accusing)

and i think it's like the gif that u put ...SHIVAAY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH...NO HUMAN BEING CAN...so i never blamed him for running away from the truth

finally,i don't like the idea of Annika being able to move on with a clear conscious while shivaay would be beating around the bushes trying to understand what he did wrong...shouldn't she be in guilt for breaking THEM...i know she had no choice but still

p.s: about aditi, i don't think shivaay will be in a relation with her...maybe just friends??? i don't know y but i felt thta way

pps: sorry for the long comment... i just feel sad for ML most of the times😆😆 they're never shown mahan ...even in parallels Annika gets excuses and sympathy while the poor guy gets bashed all the time...

No worries about you having different views than mine. That is why we have forums and discussions and I think you have me wrong I bash Annika as well .. 😆
I take no sides here.
And yes BTW I am a Shivvay Fan .. my story should prove it and my OS as well ..lol 😉

Why do we not have more of saner people like you my dear. Television treats their audience as stupid notwithstanding the disclaimer of fiction. But the audience truly is emotionally foolish in general. We are attached to fictional characters to the point of obsession and expect realistic treatment of storylines for xxx episodes. Trust me if this show has to be on realistic lines with crisp episodes, it may have not lasted 300 episodes and when the news of any beloved show coming to end follows people will request to stetch it or bring second season to watch the realistic romance of dupatta flying over and over again. Btw is type ke romance ke time pe, audience ka realism kahan jata hai. Food for thought.

yes jungle track proves that he wants this relationship as much as she does...

but to chose between his mother and her he will always chose his mother... thats his current status...

annika isnt doing right by breaking their relationship. but she has grown without a family...she knows how it is to be called orphan or najayaz... she knows shivaay hasnt seen that pain ever in his life and he isnt equiped to handle it... pinky wants her out of shivaay's life forever else she wud tell shivaay the truth that wud shake his existence totally... annika knows between his family and her if he has to chose ...he will chose family... see rudra engagement thing was different coz then it wasnt chosing between family and her...it was chosing between who will spoil family reputation and her... he trusts annika cant knowingly spoil his family... especially when they had discussed previous night to keep it secret... with chip leak he never told her about it... and hence her questioning it can happen...she knows he is protective of OM more than anyone else... its either shivaay breaking coz of illegitimacy or she breaking their relationship ... she is chosing the one she thinks will bring lesser pain to him... and at this point her breaking the relation will bring lesser pain coz NKK is his foundation of existence while she isnt yet the reason of his existence... he hasnt yet reached tu he mere jeene ki vajah...

annika cud hv easily left him and gone but wud that make him hate her? wudnt he search for her? what does pinky want? annika to leave him forever in a way that he will nvr want her back... what choice does that leave to a person who has decided to give her husband a lesser of the two pains? break then totally in such a way that he wud hate her with all his force...

what annika is doing is out of her love for shivaay and her majboori...

but at the moment wat shivaay is doing is nothing...even as per precap he breaks relationship with her in fit of anger... whatever annika has spoken in this track to rile him...nuthing has been wrong or false...she has only stated all facts ... even daima video was there...though it had wrong info...it was there and shivaay did hv double standards... if stating truths he knew are breaking them then how is annika at fault... if she had used means like showing she has extra marital affair...faked things to him..cheated shivaay to get kicked out u can say annika broke them... all she has done is show all those proofs which he already knew...

she dint get prinku married...its proven in cctv...he just dint see that..

omru really donno anything bout business,,,, there shudnt be free lunch...he is giving them free lunch... she is protecting her husband's hard earned life time business... nuthing wrong once again...

when she spoke bou pinky insulting her...true he has seen it...n how many times shud he tolerate just coz she is shivaay's mom... saying all MIL's r like that... shivaay has seen that too..pinky ka rona dhona... nautanki...nuthing false in that too... and then daima chip... that is truth as per shivaay...so nuthing wrong in that too...

annika hasnt used anything false to break them...she is using only things he believes r truth to break them... if truths can break them then it is he at fault coz he has NKK which is causing all this... he knows NKK doesnt matter to OM so om wud b ok with being illegitimate...its he who cant live with fact that om is illegitimate n hence wants to keep it secret... he does hv double standards...then why call annika family...coz what applies to his family doesnt apply to annika...

To all sensible ladies out here,

Let's not be judgemental even before unfolding of the track. We may bash, troll or whatever the obsessed category of fans want to do, but only AFTER the episodes are aired and story makes sense.

All of us here are confident of Gul's working but none here can predict the storyline bang on. It's a fact, with two shows now in their hands they might as well will be careless with Ishqbaaz sooner or later. Take that from me, it's guaranteed. But that's then when it happens. Untill then enjoy the show according to your taste for love/tadap/taqraar.. and as a fiction, not as your life.

Everything is mere speculation, our overthinking brains and we are fretting for no reason. Absolutely nothing to get so worked up.

Pearl, I loved loved loved your post!! It makes so much sense.

A few things that I was so happy to see in the last couple of episodes:

- Annika has left proof behind of her good intentions, sacrifice and unconditional love for Shivaay. OmRu and Jhanvi are in on her secret. They know she's innocent, that anything she says to provoke Shivaay is deliberate, in order for him to throw her out, just as Pinky wanted.

- I am also so happy to see that they know Pinky is making her do this. Any support that Pinky may have wanted from her family (just because she has been with them longer) is not going to happen. When shit hits the fan (pardon my language) Pinky is going to find herself all alone, friendless. Jhanvi was so correct in telling her this - she has only tears in her kismet, which is why she cannot see the goodness in others.

- Annika will use Om's illegitimacy story to get thrown out. She is actually doing Shivaay a huge favour here. TejVi will prove that she is lying and she has no idea what she was talking about. So Om's "secret" is clear and Shivaay can relax in the knowledge that his brother has full NKK.

- If precap is anything to go by, Annika has hit the iron where it is hot. Om's lack of NKK didn't make any difference to Shivaay. He took a long time to get over Annika's lack of NKK. Shivaay is still not completely Annika's Shivaay. His journey is still left. It is most apparent in the way that OmRu were sure there is a reason why Annika is behaving the way she is. Shivaay just didn't apply his mind enough to wonder why. He needs to believe her, trust her completely. She is leaving behind enough proof of what she was going through. Everything she said to Pinky before everyone was spot on.

- Another thing that struck me was. How different are Jhanvi and Pinky as mothers. I don't know if you follow the sister show, but in one of the episodes Jhanvi is telling Om that it is your life to lead as you want, I can only advise you that in my view Gauri is perfect for you. Pinky doesnt want Shivaay to lead his life as he pleases. She wants him to lead his life as she pleases. Because she took raised her husband's illegitimate child, she wants her pound of flesh back. Which makes me think, her affection is meaningless. Shivaay to her is a possession, someone she was forced to raise, so she feels no love for him. What she has is not love, it is an obsession. If I could raise you as my own, how dare you give another woman more importance than me. I remember in one of my earlier posts on this sudden change in Pinky's behaviour I had mentioned that Pinky has ALWAYS been like this. She didnt like Mallika because of the open affection and importance Shivaay gave her, she didn't like Annika from the time that Annika and Shivaay were married and even earlier if Shivaay showed her any regard (appearing from behind the moon after their party, dropping her home during the first ShiTia wedding) . She was ok with Tia because Shivaay never ever gave Tia any importance, he really didnt care about her. On rakshabandhan he forced Annika to come to work but he didn't speak to Tia about why she didn't turn up till everything was over and resolved at their house!

- I am waiting for Tia to play a meaningful role. I think her redemption will also be shown.

- I am sure that Shivaay isnt going to let go of Annika this easily. He has been obsessed with her for too long, whether it was extreme hate or love, it ALWAYS made a difference to him. I think their meeting post three months is going to be engineered by Shivaay. I cant wait for the takkar to happen!! Till then I will deal with the tear fest.

- Although I am not looking fwd to new entries. I wish they had not brought them in. Can't take psycho lovers pl. Daksh was bad enough!!

PS: I am also going to go off on a holiday in a couple of days. Will give me sometime to get over my IB obsession but like Shivaay cant get over Annika, I am sure I will cave in and log onto Hotstar sooner or later just to figure out whats happening!!

So beautifully written! I really hope and wish that Harneet is also thinking along the lines of your beautiful thoughts.

Shivaay loves Annika very much. But he loves her just the way often a kid loves his favourite toy and can't live without it. But as a mature man and husband he still has a long way to go. He lives in this beautiful glass palace of NKK and maintains a certain sketch of his family members in his mind according to his taste and convenience. And this makes him fragile and somehow the weakest of them all. No wonder everyone he loves is trying their best to prevent this Great Wall from collapsing because they know it too.

He has possessed Annika... never earned her. Apart from the family he has been born into he probably never had to earn anyone in his life. This is something he has to learn with time and enough effort. Omru was like a responsibility he was born into. He didn't need to earn anyone of them. It was disheartening to see how obtuse he was of his mother's snarling at Annika and also somewhere Annika too gave him the liberty to believe that she was his and no matter how good, bad or ugly he was with her... she would never leave him... or may be he concluded she has no one else to go to but him.

Things would have gone sour anyway if this separation didn't happen because there was no balance in this relationship. He loves her, says he is proud of her ... trusts her half way but somehow I believe he never respected her. That is why he never thought twice before lashing out or humiliating her infront of his family. Maybe subconsciously her lack of NKK played a role there. I guess as his NKK comes crashing down he will have a clearer vision of the world and that day he would realize that Annika is God's personal gift to him for something good he may have done in his past life or this very one.
