Very well written ... before Shivika got married , both had feelings for each other .. shivaay had almost told her in the drugged state that how much he loved her and then ofcourse he ran way from that situation by putting the ring on Tia's finger ..
Because he is a man who honors his commitments ... he never backs down from them. Betraying Tia was unthinkable for him.
then Daksh'a arrival and the MU . The marriage may have been done on the ground of hatred but once the MU got cleared , he was like a loving caring hubby even during Tia's P thing.
By then he was quite sure that the baby was not his I think. This man could not have been improper even in a drunken stupor. That is just not Shivvay. So the logical thing of course was to honor his present commitment to Annika who was now his legally married wife. The attraction for her made it all the more easier to do that of course 😉
The progression of their relationship is good..the way he carried her home from her friend's place and then comforted her in his lap and when she got up from there suddenly realising , he didnt really want her to go.
As I said, commitment means everything to this man (that is where he matches Gauri btw. I am positive we are going to see a wonderful bond there). Shivvay is all about propriety, commitment, promises and upholding these no matter what comes his way.
As far as he was concerned, Annika had committed to this marriage and to him there was no way in the world that he was going to let her break a commitment and that too, a commitment related to HIS marriage. She was in it to stay even if he had to drag her back kicking and screaming. She was not and will not, by any means, be allowed to ever walk out of it. If anyone ever thinks that Annika has a say in this matter now they are sadly mistaken. She chose to be his Patni and so she shall remain till the day he dies.
We saw the authoritarian in Shivvay that day, not a husband as some think. He was the older one disciplining her and enforcing the rules and responsibility that comes with this commitment. You could say that she was reprimanded and even given a lesson in responsibility towards a commitment that day.
He was laying down the ground rules of their marriage and ensuring she understood the consequences of breaking them. There would be no room for breaking any of these rules.😆
It was very simple as far as he was concerned and hence she was taught a lesson in commitment and it's seriousness that day but of course with his 'kid gloves' on.
You throw a tantrum in public for all to see - I discipline you in public for all to see. You do not take the problems, issues, misunderstanding and the details of this marriage and make a scene for all to witness. You stay here in the confines of this home, room and marriage and solve it here.
Scream, yell, break stuff and even walk away and lock yourself up - but in the house within these walls.
Anika is naive anaadi type... shivaay has to teach her many things and she will learn with time and her shyness and hesitation will shed 😉
Annika is a lot of lovely things and I adore her childishness but disciplined she is not. Shivvay is the disciplined one in their relationship. That is why many a times he has to play the authoritarian (almost like a guardian) and take her in hand while he guides her gently and firmly. He indulges the child in her and loves pampering her but when she crosses the line he does become the authoritarian and the older one. It is so lovely so see that in him. They would be the No. 1 IBs of the family
