Just can't wait for the story to move forward. This one has an air of mystery to it, thanks to the re-appearance of Ishana. Wonder what twits she'll bring to RiKara's life. 😆

I was in splits at the "somehow undead Kali" part, lol, you have a way with words! 🤣

Would love to read a little more about the night Om brought Gauri back home and what transpired between them-also, what happened that made her leave-I am sure it would make for an interesting read.

Hi Sara... yes, it did take a bit longer to update this one. I was kinda stuck on the post flashback chapter, still not very happy with it but let's see where it goes.

Gauri already has the best revenge possible... as they say, the best revenge is a life well lived. Gauri has everything Ishaana now realizes she wants.

You've given me 3 prompts here, once I'm decently happy with the way this fic and another one I've started are shaping up, I'll get to work on them. I'm also thinking about opening a new topic on the forum for prompt based fics... what do you think? Good idea?

Hi Nivi! Welcome to our little corner of RiKara heaven... I'm Genie, as you probably know by now.

I'm very glad you liked my writing and the concept of this story. I've always wanted to explore how two people in a secure relationship react to someone trying to create confusion between them and I didn't want to go the usual tellywood route.

I'll definitely PM you when I update, in fact I think I might've mistakenly sent you a PM for the last chapter of my other SS too...

Our Gauri is her husband's best friend first and foremost. So rest assured, no misunderstandings or well meaning-ed sacrifices from our heroine! Ishaana might not understand now, but she will, later.

I'm so happy about your comment! That was exactly what I wanted to convey with the flashback sequence, with more of it to come, and you just summed it up so beautifully!

I do currently have this FF and one more SS or FF (i dont know yet) in the works, so once I get both of them satisfactorily shaped up, I'll get to work on the prompt requests. I've also mentioned this in another reply but would you guys be interested if I opened a new topic on the forum for prompt based fics? You could continue to make LCU (Lost Chances Universe... I'm trying to sell this hard😆) prompt requests there.

I really could have done that and pointed to Am I in Love as the prequel to this fic... but I wanted them to have a slightly more elaborate conflict and resolution, and a definitely stronger relationship built from the ground up on friendship and communication without adding the love factor for some time. Hopefully, it works on some level...

You will definitely get RiKara... loads of it, you just need a bit of patience for now. Even the flashback chapters coming up in the next couple of updates should have enough RiKara to pull you through though. 😆

Hi Z.A.A... IT's great to see you here on a different story!

I've always wondered if the CVs would bring back someone from Om's past once they give RiKara a stable relationship to bring in some conflict or confusion. Ishaana seemed to be a better option, who while keeping things light would also bring a sort of third person's fresh perspective on RiKara's relationship.

I would love to work on the prompts once I have this and another SS or FF (i dont know yet) I'm working on shaped up properly. Also, would you be interested in a new topic on the forum especially for prompt based fics?

Genie.. 😃... hiii.. this update was sooo great... you are one good story teller really... the back story now adds a back bone to this story... so much more depth... n each little incident that you mentioned had me wanting to read in detail about it... 😃.. totally your magic... loved the way you slow brewed RiKara exploring their relationship.. some hiccups here n some there but they emerged stronger ... now cant wait to read how this LOVE of their overcomes this Ishana chapter..
