guys I am extremely sorry for such a late update...its been more than a month now...had my fellowship exam so got late...i apologise yet again.
JANUARY 2014
Dandi desperately wanted to help Gauri out. There was something about this girl which made him go out of the way to help her...probably her honesty...her sincerity...her determination.
"Mrs Rathore...this is Dandi Kumar here"...he said
"Hello Dandi..." she replied..."Did you get anybody?...its difficult to find skilled tailors in Mumbai nowadays...firstly they charge exorbitantly and secondly...there is no exclusivity"
"I think I have found the correct person "...
"Please bring that person immediately...i want to have a talk"...Mrs Rathore sounded excited and relieved.
"Okay...i shall meet you tomorrow at 9 am sharp with that person"

Gauri was too excited and nervous to talk. They were traveling to Mrs Rathore's house
" Dandi bhaiyya...do you really feel I can do this job"...she asked...with a quivering voice
"I am confident about that...and you too be confident"...came the reply

As they were waiting in the drawing room of a sprawling bungalow...beside the sea, Gauri saw a lady probably in her late forties or early fifties come down the stairs. She was wearing a peach coloured saree and her salt and pepper hair was left open. Gauri took a liking to her immediately.
The moment Dandi saw her coming down he stood up and signalled Gauri to do the same
" Good morning Mrs Rathore...as per our talk yesterday...i have got you your new designer tailor...Ms Gauri Sharma"...Dandi came to the point rightaway.
Mrs Rathore checked out Gauri from head to toe...but she didn't say anything. Gauri broke out into a cold swear.
"Okay...i shall need to ask her some questions...Dandi can you please leave her with me for sometime?"
"Oh sure madam..." he replied...smiled at Gauri and left the room.
There was an interview session for 20-30 minutes...after which Gauri got the job. She would work as a designer tailor with Mrs Rathore...a job which she excelled at.
She was too happy...thanked Mrs Rathore and went away. She would be starting her work from the next day.
Mrs Rathore kept staring at her as she was leaving. When Gauri left...she wiped away the silent tears...had she been alive...she would have been exactly her age. It was a dark day when in that road accident she lost her daughter and her husband was left paralysed. She had fought through the society and it's evils to establish herself. It was too early for her to comment...but somehow she felt...that she saw the same determination and strength in Gauri's eyes.
Little did Gauri realise that this was the beginning of a new chapter for Gauri Kumari Sarma...and her journey to becoming Gauri Sharma...aka GS.

Ever since he had heard the name Gauri Sharma from his sister, Omkara was feeling terribly restless. He could not explain the reason though. He hated that womaniya... sorry woman...he hated that name...he hated her very existence...but somehow
...this name did not leave him even for a single moment over the past 3 years. He loved to hate that name...but little did he realise that love and hate have a very thin boundary line.

Gauri stood in front of the mirror combing her hair. The last 3 years were like a whirlwind for her. She had never thought that the simple rustic Gauri Kumari Sarma, with a small shop at the temple at Bareily...would become the high end GS with a boutique clothesline outlet at Cuff Parade.
Life is truly strange she thought.
And now the circle shall complete itself...Mr Omkara Singh Oberoi...and Gauri Sarma would meet again...she laughed out aloud...and laughed and laughed...and then she cried and cried and cried...she never had the time to laugh or cry over the past 3 years.

Priyanka was ready for the meeting with GS...she called out for Rudra...
She saw Om and Rudra both coming down the stairs...
"My sister is going for such an important work...hence both Rudra and me shall accompany you.." Om said with a smile
He did not tell her...that the mere mention of the name Gauri Sharma had made him an insomniac for 5 days...he could not understand...why he had the sudden urge to meet a lady whose name he hated so much.
But he had to meet this Gauri Sharma...whoever an may be
