Hii Everyone, I'm Shan'e (Sha-Nay) and this is my half baked try at something Shivika. It's not much, buhhht hopefully you guys give it a read.
I had started this a while back but I didn't have the courage to post my amateur writing amongst the brilliant writers of IB Forum, but someone encouraged me recently to give it a try and here I am...Anyway it starts from the episode where Tia had accused Sahil of stealing her necklace. Some of the shows current tracks will also be incorporated into this SS.

Chapter One.

"Fhat the Wuck??? How dare you stop me? Do you know who I am? Get out of my way, damn it" Shivaay said through gritted teeth, these people were about to make him explode. He had woken up after 24 hours of being sedated, yearning to see if Anika was alright. Only to be stopped outside her hospital room by 2 muscled and armed men dressed in black suits who stepped in front of the door.
"You aren't allowed to enter the room" One of them told Shivaay after giving a subtle nod to the other. The other man spoke into an earpiece saying only two words "He's here". Now Shivaay Singh Oberoi wasn't someone who was used to hearing 'No' or being denied something. Any other day he would have given them his usual 'I am Shivaay Singh Oberoi. You have no idea what I can do to you', but today wasn't any other day, today he just had one thing on his mind and that was getting inside the room to Anika.
"You both are fired! Now get out of my way!!! Who gave you the authority to stop me from seeing my wife??" His voice raising at the end. He'd had enough now. Why did Khanna always hire incompetent men. He stepped forward intending to enter the room only to be stopped once again by the bulkier of the two, who had put a hand on his shoulder and said "I said you can not enter"
He stepped closer to them, ran his hand through his hair in his signature move, eyes narrowed to slits, becoming SSO, clearly intending on releasing the tension that had been building up inside from the moment he had been stopped and seeing the change in him the men outside the door looked slightly nervous. Voice low and cold he said "What did y" but was cut off by a very calm voice saying "You don't have any right to speak in this manner to my men Mr Oberoi and they very well know who you are, which is why they aren't allowing you into the room"
Shivaay spun around to see the face of the person who dared speak to Shivaay Singh Oberoi like that, at the same time saying "Excuse me?? What do you mea" but he was cut interrupted again by a man who Shivaay now saw was middle aged, maybe in his late 40's, fair, tall, neatly groomed and dressed in a navy blue suit. But as neatly groomed as the man may have been, nothing could hide the haggard tormented look in his red eyes. "And as for who gave them the authority to stop you from entering the room, that 'who' would be me. You have no right to enter this room Mr Oberoi. I don't need my daughter to be in any more danger. You and your family have caused her enough pain. Please leave her alone now"

A Few Days Back
"Shivaay sighed and held the bridge of his nose as if seeking patience or asking for deliverance. He continued after a brief moment "Do what you feel is right"
He heard it, however soft it might have been, but he heard it. He had heard her sharp intake of breath. And when he looked up at her, what he saw there scared him. Blank, her eyes went blank and then just as fast, he saw it blaze red. But why? He saw Sahil look at her and he saw the subtle shake of her head she gave him.
"Actually I have my necklace back and I don't want this family's name to be spoilt if the police has to get involved in this matter. I'll be ok if he apologises to me" Tia told Pinky, her eyes betraying her over sweet voice, yet no one saw her eyes gleaming with happiness of achieving her evil goal.
Sahil once more looked at Anika, but Anika shook her head again, came stood next to him and said firmly "Sahil will not apologise because I know he hasn't committed any mistake" her words were meant for Tia, but she looked at Shivaay as she said them. How can this man believe that Sahil would do such a thing. Didn't he just a while ago say he trusted me, that he had full faith in me and now he's acting as if we're strangers to him.
"I will apologise on behalf of Sahil. I'm sorry Tia, for all that I've done, for my behaviour and all of my mistakes. It will never happen again" Anika said, tears still falling but her voice clear and empty, so unlike her. "No Anika didi, stop" Sahil whispered tears still running down his cheeks, but it was clear and loud enough to reach every ear in the room. The grip Sahil had on Anika's hand was evident. But was he holding onto her hand that tightly to gather strength for himself, give her strength or was it to restrain her? Before Shivaay could process it any further, Anika had walked away with Sahil up to his room.

"Sahil, please forgive me. You were humiliated for something you didn't do. I couldn't save you from them" Anika said while hugging the little boy. She sat on his bed and pulled him onto her lap, crying and rocking them both. She gently ran her hand over the slap mark that now marred her brother's soft cheek that had reddened. She didn't know why everything bad happened to them first. Why God? It's like you try out all your new troubles on us first. Do you hate us that much?
"Anika Didi, don't cry, I'm fine. That cheaper Tia is just naturally cuckoo, it must have something to do with all that universe nonsense she's always going on about and Baggad Billa's mother is just blinded by Tia's manipulative reiki. I'm ok, look, I'm fine. My face isn't even paining anymore" he said, wiping her tears. His own eyes filling with tears at seeing his sister in this state. His face hurt but he wouldn't show his sister his pain, it would break her even more. "I know that this is all Tia's plan. You know that she is always behind you. This is just a new plan of hers to get back at you. That's all" he told her. I will be strong Anika Didi, for you, I will be strong. Because I know that I am your weakness and strength. I will be strong.
"No Sahil, I tolerated everything, but enough. Now they have gone too far. But you don't worry, I will make everything right" She softly told him, one hand still slowly massaging his sore check, still rocking him. And slowly he gave way to the gentle rocking that lulled him into slumber.
Setting him on the bed and making sure he was covered properly. Anika stood up, looked at her brother, he looked so peaceful while sleeping. I know you're in pain Sahil, I know you're being strong for me. This all happened because of me, she did this to so that I would leave OM. What I wouldn't give to put that women in her place. But what can I do? Him! Yes, he can help me. She wiped the tears that started to fall again, her eyes blazing once more and took out her phone. Why hadn't she thought of him before.
"Hello? ...No, please it's Anika, just Anika...I want to meet you, it's very important. Please...No Shivaay doesn't know...This is just between you and I...Please...Okay, tomorrow at 10h30. Thank you" She hung up smiling grimly. Now they will know that no one messes with Anika's brother and gets away with it.

Things went back to normal after the whole fiasco last night. Well as normal as they could be in the Pandora's Box that people call Oberoi Mansion. And Anika, well Anika had advised Sahil to stay clear of Pinky and Tia. Omkara, Rudra, Prinku and Saumya were fine, but none of the other Oberoi's or Kapoor's. And he was to not utter anything if Pinky or Tia had spoken to him.
"But Didi, it's going to be so difficult because you know that tuchi luchi 2 rupees lady will try to accuse me of something new and then Baggad Billa's mother will take her side. Or they'll accuse you of something and how am I supposed to stay quiet if they say something to you" Sahil all but whined to Anika as they sat on the floor in his room completing his arts projects. I know they'll try something again Anika Didi. They will not rest until they kick you out of this house.
"Sahil you don't have to worry, just say away from them, please. And things will be sorted soon. You trust your Anika Didi right. So just leave everything to me" She said to him, gesturing in her 'leave things to me' way. They'll get what's coming to them Sahil. No one makes my brother cry and gets away with it. No One. "Now c'mon, finish this up else you'll spend the whole day stuck here... Just a minute" She told him as she felt her phone vibrate. Sahil nodded his acknowledgment and went back to completing his project as Anika got up from the floor, answering the phone while she did.
"Hello?... Yes, I'm going to leave in a bit...No, don't worry, I'll take an auto...No, he won't find out...Yes, I'll be there. Thank you so much for this...Ok, bye" Her conversation was short and to the point, now all she had to do was get going. Please God, I have never asked you for anything before, today I'm asking you to please let things work out. Turning back to Sahil, she saw him looking at her with his What now' look.
"Sahil, I have to step out for a while, please don't leave this room. I don't want anyone to find something new to accuse you of or raise their hand to you again. Please just stay here and complete your work. I will be back soon. Ok?" Anika explained and being the mature child that he was, Sahil just smiled, nodded and told her to be careful. I will do as you say Anika Didi, because I don't want to do anything that will end with you crying.

"Please, you have to help me" Anika told him as they sat inside Ramu Bhai's caf. "I know that this will be tricky but I need to do this, and I need your help for it because you're the only one who is capable of this. And no one will suspect you" She explained to him, trying to get him to agree to what she had proposed to him earlier on. The desperation and determination evident in her voice.
"Why do you want to do this? And if he finds out he wi" He began to say but was cut off immediately by Anika "Because I can't stand by and watch all this happen. I know what Shivaay will say and that is why I haven't told him. Right now he has a lot of things going on and I don't want to trouble him. And even if I do go to him, you know how he is, he will not be of any help" She put in before he could argue again. Please, just agree, I've never asked for help in my entire life. Please agree. I need to do this for my bhai. I'm sorry for not telling you the real reason.
"If he were to find out that I helped you, I could lose everything." He begged her to understand. He understood what she wanted him to do, and he had to admit it was a fairly good idea. "I could lose everything if I helped you and things went wrong" He tried again to explain. God knows I want to help you, but I'm stuck between my life and helping you set your's right
"Ok, if you just check on what I told you then you can see for yourself if I'm right. If it turns out that I'm wrong then we can forget this conversation ever happened. But if I'm right then you will have to help me. And anyway, if I am right and everything goes as planned, I have a feeling that you will be rewarded by Him" Anika quickly told him, again there was desperation in her voice. I've never know her to be this weak, to be asking for help from someone. Something must be wrong.
"Anik" was all he managed to get out before she interrupted him again. "You owe me atleast this much, because its partly your fault that I had to marry Shivaay and be stuck in this situation" She all but threw those words at him. I'm sorry for this, but this is my last hope at making you agree. Please forgive me. She saw the impact her words had on, he paled instantly, the guilt clear on his face. "I...I...I...Sorr...I mean...He...It was my..." He stuttered and she immediately felt bad for her words. I'm sorry, I need to do this for my bhai. I will apologise to you after this is all over
He took a few deeps breaths, drank the water that was placed on the table in one go and in the same breath said "I was going to say that I will help you. But only if your first two suspicions are correct" He saw her smile, a proper genuine one that reached her eyes and he knew that he was doing the right thing. Please let her be right. I will help her, I do owe her atleast this much. He smiled back at her. I hope she is right. "Pray that God is on our side, else today will be the last day that you and I live" he told her, watching her smile grow as he returned one of his own on completing his sentence.
"But you do realise that might be impossible to do in such a short time. It could take a few days" He continued. "I would have to do all this illegally" What have I gotten myself into? Please God, help me see this through. He looked at her while she looked to be lost in her thoughts after what he just told her. "Uhm but I'm sure you can find a way to do this. I mean haven't you done these things before" Anika asked him, still partly lost in her thoughts. He should be able to do this she thought to herself, after all he has shown his skill regarding these things before. Mmm about the time limit tho'...No Anika, this needs to be done soon, I had promised myself that before the slap mark fades off Sahil's face I will show them their places.
"Please you have to do this by tonight, tomorrow morning latest. I'm sure you'll be able to work something out. Like you did the last time for them" She begged him, her voice full of hope. He sighed at that, and his shoulders dropped in defeat. Yes! He's going to do it. "Okay, I'll try my best. But I'm not promising anything until after I have checked out what you said first. Ok?" And for the first time since their meeting, Anika allowed herself to relax. Thank You.
"Ramu Bhai, two plates chowmein with desi ghee, please" She shouted the order. And then started to explain what she wanted him to do in detail. Thank you God, thank you.
