lol your post cracked me up.

I recently started following the show, but with whatever i have seen, Anika was the only person whose characterisation was up to the mark and that got royally destroyed today.

She for one was not the typical abla nari and even in the bedroom fight they had after marriage, she kept asking what was her fault.But i dont know what happened to her today with all the maun vrat and crying.

And dadi was such a let down, like women ask her why she did what she did😡

No offence but i genuinely feel that the show has over the top drama effects and extremely poor acting especially from actors who have acted amazingly in their previous shows.

I think it has to do with the direction which is really surprising comparing with the fact that Gul has produced shows like IPK and Geet.

I was recommended by so many about the show and when i started liking Shivika slightly and they did what they do best, destroy the show for the sake of trps.

I dont think SSO can ever redeem himself from this btw.

That Ask Laftan show is very insipid though, didn't work for me either. 😆 But I appreciate the pretty faces and clothes. 😆

I envy you guys...kaash mera entertainment bhi itne mein hi ho jaata...but the vapidness of it all just puts me off😆.

Yeh international shows dekh ke I realize ki duniya bhar mein kitne bakwaas shows hain...woh K-shows bhi meri samajh mein nahin aate😆...and these Turkish shows...most of the actors look blank😕😆...ghor kalyug aa gaya hai...kahin se bhi entertainment nahin milta.

Waise I agree with you on feeling too reluctant to watch 2 hour long epis...heck, aaj kal toh it's a chore for me to even watch 1 hour long English shows ke epis😆...patience has sapped...isiliye toh I think I'm still watching desi shit...20 min long epis, most of which you can forward and finish watching in 5 mins...kaam khatam😆

They have bakwaas shows everywhere, man. Bas budget and gloss zyada hota hai. 😆

Kdramas...they have their attractions and I had a phase in college, but now I cannot stand all the airbrushed coyness either...they have a special brand of affected acting which is very off-putting. Turkish I've just started looking into, it just seems shallow and pretty to me for now. 😆 English shows toh I catch whatever's on Netflix, binge watching is the only way I'm able to complete watching anything new at all. Otherwise I mostly just end up replaying old favorites like House. 😆

Desi shows toh kya bolun, I really tried getting into PoW but, predictable plot and great acting aside, it also pissed me off and just makes me feel ragey most of the time.So now it's only IB and yes, thankfully you can ff and get done in five minutes, which is why I stick around too. 😆

LOL I just read this new divorce spoiler, gosh I want Anika to refuse to sign the papers and torture him with it just for her own sadistic pleasure. It's not like he can do anything about it, she should threaten to go to the media with the papers if he tries to blackmail her again, and try explaining to the world why he's divorcing Anika if he is married to Tia, and just watch him squirm at the thought. 😆 #WishfulThinking

I swear those TRP aunties are disturbed af; who the hell enjoys this crap? I for one boiled on the inside for every second Anika stayed mum and cried and let them all crap on her in one way or another. The fact that she's going to go back to OM and let Shivaay, Tia and others belittle her repeatedly there makes me not want to watch this show tbh.

I miss BBKD *sigh* Achha wholesome entertainment tha...

Abhi ke liye IB hi reh gaya hai😆...rest of TV is all daayans, naagins, or other horrors...slim pickins, man😆...yeh haal ho gaya hai that we are left with picking the LESS pretentious shows out of a sea of SUPER pretentious shit😆...so for now IB scores😆

LOLL when you describe it like that, it strangely does sound entertaining😆...My only problem was that I don't want Anika to give more fodder to Billu's delusions of "She's obsessed with me, wants to marry me blah blah"...

I guess it depends on execution...if they managed to strike a good balance b/w Anika holding on to her self-respect and still torturing Billu by not giving him the divorce he oh so craves😆...phir shaayad mazaa aa jaaye.

LOL after three full episodes of manhandling and blackmailing, if Billu STILL harbors any delusions that SHE wanted to marry HIM, then I don't even know what to say other than this man legit belongs in an asylum. 😆

But really, all Anika has to do is tell him that he is free to parade Tia as his wife in front of the world, even live with her and make ShiTier babies with her if he so wants. Anika doesn't give an eff and she will live her own life but she just won't sign the divorce papers until and unless SHE wants to. Uski marzi. That should be enough to send Shivaay into a tailspin. 😆 No but it's a good life lesson for him, no? He cannot have things his way all the time, so if he imposed the marriage on her, it's only fair that she gets to choose when to divorce him. Shivaay badly needs to be taught a lesson and Anika is fully capable of doing this...this could be like that track where she forced him to wish her good morning every day and be polite, only with much higher stakes this time. 😆

Okay now I've convinced myself also, this REALLY needs to happen. 😆 It would be my favorite type of escapist shit. 😆

P.S Kya yaad dila diya , the BBKD shaadi was sooo adorable, I remember smiling through all those episodes and I detest most of these dramatic shaadi tracks in general. Now that's feel-good drama done well and against major odds too. Very sweet show it was.
