See this is what, not only Shivaay even Anika doesn't accept this marriage even though she has high regards for the institution and all the things like Mangalsurta and sindoor. It wasn't a marriage it was a sham in the name of it. It was forced and done unwillingly by both the people concerned. The person in the wrong here completely is Shivaay. He should be the one making amends and taking the first foot forward instead of expecting Anika suffer for the his doings and accepting it all as her fate. Come on had Anika been a fate accepting character I would have still bought it, however, she clearly is not, so people and creatives should stop making her one. It's like Billu himself toh doesn't give a shit about whatever Daadi says but Anika is expected to be agyakaari bahu and execute Daadi's wishes...Oh please. Are they seriously expecting us to buy that the Anika who herself used to troll lame tropes with "Aapko kya lagta hai ki main daily soap ki heroine hoon, aap meri kalaayi modenge aur humara moment ho jaayega?" jaise dialogues will so calmly roll over and say, "ZAROOR Daadi, your wish is my command...main sudhaarungi aapke Billu ko aur manvaaungi ki woh mujhse pyar karta hai"...Gimme a break. 🥱
Respecting granny's sentiments is one thing man, but woman if you are going let Dadi play you and manipulate you with her lectures , then all your character build up till now will go for a six. Just because she is supportive doesn't mean she has to be right. She might mean well, but she needs to back off as well.. Why Anika? Why not go to her dearest Billu and make him see straight?
Shivaay should pay...and Daadi should be helping Anika in making him pay...instead of pulling all this "Nibhaao your shaadi and your pati will magically realize his feelings for you" crap.
