What I resent the most in this track (however they go about it, if Anika stays in the OM as we know she will, the result will be the same) is that they have made Anika look like a pity project for Dadi-OmRu. There always was an element of that in their dynamics but with this whole marriage-divorce-Tia confusion, it is going to be insufferable. You can't sell this as a "takkar ki" love story and then turn around and make the girl look like a charity case whose cause Shivaay's well-meaning family members have taken up. It's distasteful and demeaning and not at all entertaining.

When his problem with anika was that she never fit in with her plans and always ensured he though ki 'anika ko pasand nahi hai' enough that he WAS allowing her to see a gentler, kinder side of him. The same guy now is just ignoring her more or less.
And she's just feeling sad about it. That's really humiliating to watch: that she's so overwhelmed by this turn her life is taken she's been struck silent.
Listening to everything his family members are saying, getting manipulated by dadi, and the sheer indignity of staying in a place where its been pointed out that she's not wanted.

We're not even expecting she walks out with her head held high and lives her life her way, its apparently too much to ask from GK, but at least let her verbally give it back to him! I know she wont say anything disrespectful to dadi but i really hope she takes some stand for herself AND for sahil.
Im sure she'd have understood by now what she means to these oberois: to be used as a tissue to wipe their dirty problems and to wipe their tears.

Imagine how saddening and painful it must have been to hear all these words from pinky, one who has suffered humiliation too, jo literally 'stepny' feel karti thi.
Anika toh wahi ban chuki hai ab. I dont think the dialogue was a coincidence, or at least i dont take it as such.

Its hard to see such a strong spirited character be constantly dominated and humiliated and pained.

I hope they salvage this before it gets too late and all of us permanently lose interest

Exactly di, he told everyone just enough WHY he got her to the mandap, not HOW he got her to agree to this marriage

Ab dadi, omru at most would be all, bechari anika, and FORCE her on shivaay as if she had no rights. Even in their misplaced kindness is an utter disregard for her feelings

See this is what, not only Shivaay even Anika doesn't accept this marriage even though she has high regards for the institution and all the things like Mangalsurta and sindoor. It wasn't a marriage it was a sham in the name of it. It was forced and done unwillingly by both the people concerned. The person in the wrong here completely is Shivaay. He should be the one making amends and taking the first foot forward instead of expecting Anika suffer for the his doings and accepting it all as her fate. Come on had Anika been a fate accepting character I would have still bought it, however, she clearly is not, so people and creatives should stop making her one.

I tried the one the internet's been swooning over...couldn't even finish the first episode, the boy is really pretty and that's about it, the girl is so blah I cannot. 😆 As it is these shows have two hour episodes, so tiring. Even if I like one of them, it takes me ages to muster the energy to actually watch it. 😆 They are styled really well though, good production values in general. 😆
