Hi all, this was an ff i wrote during that bullet shot sequence ,i wanted it to be on a little emotional side,but CV's did something else,had some time so sharing it with you all..
Om was lost in his thoughts ,his eyes were fixed at sleeping Rudr's face,...the face which was deprived of the calm they usually see,Shivaye was caressing Rudr's hair...Rudr's was hurt,it was a mild shot the jolt of which has caused him a physical injury but mentally he was shaken,he had an episode,he was under that panic attack from which he find himself difficult to escape,first he was unconscious and later they found him silent,terrified ...even under the effect of those tranquilizers they were able to see their shaken baby,initially he even didn't grimaced with the pain he was in,it was not a healthy sign specially for Shivaye and Om as they know how bad it can be for him...after a while when Rudra's tremors vanished completely and they were sure that Rudr is fast asleep both of them sneaked out of the room and reached their spot beside the pool...
Om still looked lost,as he was trying to figure out what exactly happened finally he spoke..."how can it happen,kaise ho gaya ye ...how can I forget him"
Shivaaye was still in his thoughts too "..how can he get hurt...how can i let him go through that pain"
Om with a choking voice.."sab meri galti hai...its all my fault...i just ... i should have,i should have been more vigilant,i could have pulled you both ...how can i forget in these situations Rudr will be vulnerable ...he won't be able to move or react.. .how can i miss that,how can i ... "Om snapped at himself he was unable to forget that moment
Shivaaye found his O in a painful situation he tried to calm him down..."No Om its not your fault,you tried ,you really did ...you pulled me aside and it was so sudden that Rudr,Rudr just got caught..."Shivaye's voice choked..."I should not have taken you guys to that press conference,i should have anticipated the danger..."
Since childhood Om and Shivaye wanted to keep Rudr safe,they wanted him to enjoy the moments which they never got a chance to,...they were living those lost moments of their lives through Rudr,...they wanted him to have a normal life which they never had,the love support,protection,pampering everything which a normal boy would get in this age...but deep inside the havoc of carrying that lineage and the family name of Oberoi's kept haunting them and today the one they wanted to kept safe got caught...
Om started again..."Shivaye what i saw today for those few moments is haunting me...i saw that same Rudra ,who never use to behave like the kids of his age,who didn't speak till the age of 4...the terrified,...silent,..broken soul ...In all these years we put a lot of effort to make him what he is today,the happy,chirpy boy,who should just know about the good side of life...Shivaaye i don't want to lose that baby brother,i can't see him like that again...his fastened breath,his terrified eyes,...the pain on his face,...everything makes me fearful ...Shivaaye tell me we won't lose him agin,plz please Shivaye..."Om pleaded with tears rolling down from his face
Shivaye just pulled Om towards himself and hugged him tight..."ss shh hh...Nothing will happen to him,we won't let anything happen to him,he has us,...he won't go through anything,..he will be fine,...remember we use to teach him for hours ...he was very slow "Shivaye smiled ...".and then he finally spoke... his first word was "Bhaiya ""a smile spread on Shivaye's face

Oms added with a chuckled voice "and the second one was O instead of Om..."
Shivaye's smile broaden even ""we were his safe spot then and we are his solace now...i will make sure the one who made him go through this pain shall suffer even worse ""
Om and Shivaaye just came back to the room,Om leaned on the chair beside Rudr's bed,Shivaye lie down beside Rudr ,Rudr's face was pale and expressionless,his usual smile and naughtiness was missing,.Shivaye caressed his hair again...Om asked Shivaaye to have some sleep ,he himself wanted to stay awake incase Rudr needs him he was still terrified and didn't want to leave his side in anycase...Shivaye assured him that Rurda is under the effect of sedatives and will only be up in the morning...but Om just wanted to see his little brother infront of him sleeping,breathing and alive,he still was scared to lose him,he wanted to make sure he is all good...
