Coming to the third chapter,I love it! I can't really decide what I love the most in it. It reminded me of Dramione.Or really how awesome writers write a sassy,funny,whiny Draco Malfoy.

Your Shivaay was exceptionally funny and this wasn't due to fever induced delirium.His musings and his reaction to Jhansi were,as I said,hilarious.

I loved how you chose Jhanvi to be the one to instigate him or be his adviser.Your Jhanvi was so cool!

One thing that I noticed and liked,cause I am weird like that, is the starting and ending with apples.Also the fact that one brother hates them and the other loves them.

These tiny details,gems, is what make the story so much more that just a piece of writing.You established a stark contrast in their personalities or rather reinforced an existing dissimilarity by throwing in a minor detail.

So,if you aren't convinced by my rant yet, I loved it.Absolutely.

Thank you once again for such a detailed review and I am happy that you've enjoyed reading this story. I think the comparison with Draco has some merit, because I am a Dramione shipper and have written a fic or two some years back when I was intrigued by that pairing. 😉 I think I am yet to overcome the hangover of those days, though my Draco was far more ruthless than Shivaay can ever hope to be. 😎

I like that you noticed that little scene with apples, about how both brothers have contrasting tastes (personalities too) in relation to the fruit. I am a sucker for details and like to capture every tiny bit of a scene if possible. Had I gone on about the decor, clothes etc., this story would take months to complete 😲 and the best way to do away with that urge was to write in Shivaay's POV (I've switched POVs in between, but on the whole, he is the main story-teller here). As it is, I slip in such seemingly idle things into the narrative just to keep things interesting.

I'll update the next chapter today or latest by tomorrow. The much-anticipated (?) AnShi confrontation is coming up. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as you did the last three chapters. Keep reading and yeah more reviews in the future will certainly make my day! 😳

I really love Jhanvi's character in the show. There's so much to that woman who apparently has a kind heart but it is ruthlessly butchered by her husband. I loved the scene between Jhanvi and Shivaay! ❤️ The way the conversation flowed and she tricked him onto the path to realisation, I went all, 'awww!' I hope we get to see scenes between Jhanvi and Shivaay in the show too.

Sorry about the late response. I had replied to your review a couple of days back, only to be reminded by IF that newbies cannot put up more than ten posts within 24 hours . I had been busy the last couple of days and couldn't find time to get back to this thread. But I am here now. 😊

Anyway, first off, thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review, really made my spirits soar (would have let you know sooner had IF allowed me :) ) I have juggled the angsty and humorous bits to strike a balance with the flow of the story. Usually people stop reading if it's all a depressing internal monologue, so this third chapter was needed to keep things balanced, as I said. Since this is essentially a love story (and I am bad with those, trust me 😕) I had to usher in the romance at some point and Shivaay's denial was the starting point. We'll get to Annika in the next chapter.

Jhanvi is one person who has a lot of potential (at least for fanfic writers) and she is one of my favourites too. Her actions in the show have revealed someone who has a lot of love to give, should she overcome her own demons.

I like my characters to be multi-dimensional with humane traits and so had to put in that bit about Pinky in between. She can be irritating, but not all bad.

Shivaay has quite a few issues and writing from his perspective gets tiresome, because he is somewhat bipolar in this fic (or I have made him that way 😉). But then again, I'd love to explore his various shades in the course of this story.

It felt surreal to see that attempted suicide scene of Omkara in the show after writing something similar about Shivaay in my second chapter. The Om in my story is not as emotionally fragile as he's portrayed on screen. You'll see more of him and Rudra in the fourth chapter. Hope you'll like it just as much as you did the previous updates. 😊 Will be waiting to hear your take on it. The chapter should be up within a day or two.

Glad that you liked my story and read it all in one go. 😃 The equation between Shivaay and Jhanvi is still unexplored on the show, so I've given it my own turn in the story. I think the bond between Shivaay and Omkara is something special, far beyond friendship and simple brotherhood. We'll see more of Om and Rudra in the next chapters.
