I am not that experienced with that but u might be right and yeah with the message the show started could not be showcased properly though the drama in the initial 50 episodes was very ott but could relate to it would wanted that they continued the same post ishqaan marriage as well

I still want to see this. AVM and his family is ready for Nandram and Nandkisori, but Ishqi I will not believe is. I wanted to see her speak up in the show saying she wants to wait to have kids until she is able to support herself without having to depend on anyone else. Even that one dialogue she says to AVM that she doesn't treat children like children so how can she treat him like a child.. that to me was a major hint that she was not ready. I still wish we can see this happen.

If few people can collaborate we can discuss and write one one os each on all the topics we wanted to see in the show

I used to watch TVD in my teens and stopped watching after a while.. it became too violent.. plus now when I look back, content wise it was so horrible.

Even 90s movies have some cringey moments but its not that bad..

TVD is horrible.

@Kanika & Sunny - Recently in India I have seen a surge in people to watch content oriented films. They praise Arjun reddy like it was the best thing ever.. and are now watching shows like Friends after so many years - people who have suddenly discovered western content - many times they think they are "too cool" for such soft and simple movies.. there is beauty in YRF and such family oriented movies as well.. like Baghban. Plus the younger gen is now watching movies by themselves.. back in 90s and 2000s it used to be a family affair.

So we get mostly action movies, nationalism movies, war hero movies.. or movies which will have hot scenes or s*xual in nature.. I seriously don't know what's happening.

TV shows are watched by the rural, semi- urban or older generations.. which are so unrelatable for us.

I think the reason why YUDKBH or Yeh Meri Life hai clicked was because it reminded us of the 90s

this is true ,along with quality and content even values had a major shift ,western influence and their shows as well...and now with netflix and such platforms ,watching movie has nothing to do with spending family time anymore...the good old days of theatre with popcorns and laughing your heart out....that is all gone....and simplicity has no place in the larger scheme of things...the more things are presumed to be complicated, the more it evokes interest...the same with movies....would a Hrishikesh Mukherjee movie work today ?? for that matter would a DDLJ work today??

Indian tv had its golden period with some of the best shows...it is not a task impossible but the rating system has destroyed any hope of good content ...the rural population had an overfeed of tulsis and parvatis and that is their staple and comfort now..i do not see that changing unless the trp system is scrapped...even then it might not change but atleast the urban population would have a better choice

Anyone else remember how both Masi and savitri said their marriages started off well and later soured for whatever reason. I thought that was another hint towards Ishqaan's story. Being two people with different upbringings and beliefs, there is still so much story left to show viewers how to address theor differences and find ways to compromise all while in fear that their own marriage may end up like their parents.

I really loved DARK. It is one my fav shows in recent times. It is very well made show. Yes it is a bit confusing but if you stick to it, everything will get unfolded and yeah you need to read explanation a bit.
