U are in US right now, if pretend, your great grand parents have been living in US, and you were also born and brought up in US. (maybe u are, not sure) So now at least four generations have been living in US. and you are now American. aur agar u did something which made everyone proud. (won a contest, invented something, got a noble price) and Indian gov would have thought that as your fore fathers were Indian, you are also Indian by origin, so they should award you with something, lets say "Ambassador of Tourism in India"
would you accept it??
Keeping this situation as hypothetical,
I would accept any honor bestowed on me by India but I wouldn't use any title US provided for me to just betterment of India instead I would use it to bridge gap between two countries. Oh! I feel like Ms. Universe now😆. But if I accept a similar title from India then assume that is where my loyalties lie😛.
Even after being an US citizen and using US for personal gain and betterment, if people still think they are Indians first then such people are traitors to the country which gave them citizenship because to get citizenship of a country one has to take an oath of allegiance. They are US-Indians not just Indians. There is a difference. Just like Prashant is Indian-Nepali not a Nepali from Nepal.
Waise some have already accused me of my allegiance towards Pakistan for supporting Amanat😉. But it's Ok because people ask personal questions and resort to personal attacks when they run out of arguments on actual subject😆.
Rest my take on the subject remains same and as in my previous post. So please don't quote me as then I would have to type same thing again and again😃.
