i agree with u when u say that parleen and abhishek and all have been inconsistent...but when u bring in deepali's pre-gala performances, may i remind u that prashant, parleen, chang and abhishek were also fantastic in the piano rounds...but the thing is that if we keep the piano round performances in mind then none of these contestants shud be voted out😉

the point is that evewn though deepali has a very good voice...only twice has she been unanimously applauded by the judges in the gala...thats not a good record for someone with deepali's standard

i agree that she wasnt the greatest a few times..however, can anyone be perfect all the time? they try their best and if its not appreciated by all the judges all the time, they can listen to the judges comments and work on their mistakes...after all, making mistakes is all part of the learning process...and from her performances u can tell that she has tried to work on her mistakes, and that is what makes deepali great, still maintaining her standard...and i beg to differ, no way were the other contestants u mentioned fantastic in the piano rounds...puja, emon, deepali were fantastic (heck maybe even charu), but the other three had their share of bad moments in the piano rounds...

Ankita is in this show by crap ok. She is here because judges and janta gave here charity ok. She never deserved to even make it to top 12.

ok agreed that nobody is perfect...but if we say that deepali is better than everyone and her voice is great and she is just so talented and mindblowing...then isnt she supposed to have a better track record than others??? (which is clearly not the case)

Who said no body is perfect ..its just saying as such there is no perfect defination of perfection😛 Its as simple as that for one somthing might look perfect even though its inperfect and vice versa......
If some one thinks ankita is consistent and she is getting good comments from judges then God help them but I don't think she is the best amongst girls otherwise why so many peoples will be writing against her ...No one can under estimate true talent ...In Idol its like who is best amongst the contestants ..its not like who is best of the best ..I still think Deepli and Pooja are the best and I hope deepali stays till end ...lets see😛

i am obviously comparing her to the other contestants in the contest...not just amit but also emon, ankita, puja have a better record than deepali..and i am saying that in general a lot of people say that she is one of the best contestants on the show...in that case her track record should also be one of the best which it clearly is not😊

payaliya I agree with u ...only amit is consistant and only amit has better track record than deepali ...😛

all this depends on personal opinion, afterall this show involves personal taste...in your opinion she has a worse track record than some...in my opinion she doesnt....emon (three bad performances, two good ones; ankita=fine she has received good comments most of the time, but is it because of singing or performance?; puja- two good performance, rest okay)...deepali is ONE of the best, meaning there are others who are good too...its not fare to compare because there are other factors that should be considered as well, like song choice...if u havent noticed, deepali has gotten great comments on the songs that involved performance (jab chaye tera jadoo, mera piya ghar, prem chal), if she just chose those kinda songs (those which ankita always chooses, compromising versatility), then she would have gotten great comments all the time...however, shes more versatile and is willing to take risks, unlike ankita...

Sorry Payal, but Deepal is not 'one of the best'.. she's simply not.

What has she done to be classifed as 'one of the best'?? She has sung badly in 3 out of 5 galas? I dont remember any of her piano round performances. She was completely pathetic and out of sur in the last gala. She's been reported to be involved with Chang and that has been openly discussed on Rubaroo several times. She has admitted to having a crush on someone after coming to Indian Idol.

All in all, she has been in the 'news' more because of singing-extrinsic factors rather than her singing. Yes she has a lot of fans and they appreciate her other characteristics rather than her singing. For e.g. men like the fact that shes a 'fair-skinned' cute contestant compared with others like Puja who doesnt have her looks but a much better singer.

I feel sorry for great singers yet not so good looking contestants like Puja and Smitha. Why is our janta so superficial? Kiya hum goray rang se impressed he? yoon he? Kyoo hum kisis lari a sirf talent nahi dekhtay?

You girls should think about this and then you will love Puja much more than Deepali.
