Blaming on others is such a foolish and non sensible act but wat happened got insulted by Sony dat its not a U.P Idol.. I dun knw when he will accept dat he is besura..

Why is Ravi crying foul. He has lost on votes - that is how the contest goes. He should be able to accept defeat and not blame the telephone lines.

well if u agree tat evry1 gets max votes from hometwn thn v can also say tat ravi is stl in the competition despite bad performance cos his hometwn is one of the biggest states in india. now isnt tat unfair. his region cudnt vote n u can c wht happened. indian idol is abt appealin 2 the whole nation nt jus UP tats y the author said tis is indian idol not UP idol.

wen ravi sings well n goes in bottom 3 its seems foul play or blamed on the problem bsnl had. how do u thk othr contestants feel lke wen amey, karu or meenal cum in bottom 3. despite commendable performance n vry gud judge comments they land up whr they shdnt. or wen panna or monali had 2 exit w.o evn evr cumin in bottom 3. no excuses hav been used 4 these. they gracefully accepted tat tis is a competition n sum1 has 2 go.

hi guys the same thing happenned in american idol 3 . jenniffer hudson( she was really awesome ) got voted out because of the blackout in her state . anyways glad he got voted out that way atleast . must have been a shock for him coz when he sang really bad he wasnt out and when he sang good he never expected to go .anyway the person who said it is indian idol and not up idol shud not have been so rude .

Oh ya I totally agree! And besides it is a competition, kabhi na kabhi toh jaana hi tha..I dont think its right to blame the lines and that also in media. Not done in a sporting way, especially from such a talented and mature person like Ravi.

This issue of regionalism was raised tremendously in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005 and the reason for the walk out by the other 3 finalists was because of a huge number of votes coming from only one section of the country for a finalist. Its hard to say if its fair or not because we are talking about 'Indian' Idol or Voice of 'India'... but then again, this state is a part of India too!

My sincere wish is tat II doesn't get the idea from SRGMP C05 and go the regional way. Keep this show as clean as possible and totally devoid of controversy.
