oh the king apologogizes 4 not being clear. tht particular statement was not directed at u but in general. bcoz anu malik had praised kapil 4 being in the army the king mentioned tht. but yeah the rest was a reply 2 u. one more thing is the king is not being against contestants from nortn-eastern region. infact sourabhee along wid torsha n bhanu r the king's fav contestants. but kapil n remo do have major singing issues.

Indian Idol has reservation system for final 14. Judges are instructed to follow the system to maximise the voting , keep their comments and opinions accordingly to have more revenue generation for the channel. One more factor is to have more X factor in the show to keep more and more teenagers hooked on to the show. If they can sing, its icing on the cake but do they really care for singing?

1. Army/Police/NDA/air-force/navy/.... - 1 seat - Kapil
2. north-east(7 sisters) - 2 seats - remo, sourabhee
3. Bengal - 2 seats - rajdeep, torsha
4. Rajasthan - 1 seat - bhanu
5. Mumbai - 1 seat - bhavya
6. Delhi-2 seats(for so called X factor) - mohit, tulika
7. Uttaranchal- 1 seat - priyanka
8. Un-common person(like shaadi shuda) - 1seat. - shini
9. Good singers - 2 seats - prasenjit, ananya.
10. Exploring new vote bank areas - they tried 2 areas - south India and interior UP. Interior UP voted more for kuldeep and hence no south in final 14 - 1 seat - kuldeep.

Every year, they more or less follow the same pattern. You can map the above to last season also with few exceptions..

No girl this year is Indian Idol material Imo. Ananya was probably the only one who was the whole full package.

1. If they wanted a girl idol then why do they have boys in the competition at all? I am a female and am all for girl power but this is wrong.

6. After listening to sonali .....i thought she wanted Shini to become the indian idol......she was a good singer no doubt but she would definetely not go on to become the indian idol....isnt it very obvious.

Would love to have your responses over the judges comments. i hated them for their outrage over Shini's elimination.

I so agree with you. Coudln't have said it better. I too want to see a girl this time but sonali's becoming so repetitive that it's so irritating to hear her everytime saying " girl winner, girl idol". The more lecture they give to jantas, more unexpected result we will see. I am pretty sure about it.

Sonali should ask her husband to spend 1-2 crores for her dream(girl indian idol). Her husband wasted some 50 crores in a complete waste movie named DRONA 😆
