Idol means choosing your idol and not choosing best singer.. poeple don't idolise only someone who is the best

they idolise someone for a whole host of reasons.

All my fav contestants are going...first Ananya now Shini....Hope Torsha doesn't slip out

bhanu is not bad. he has been prforming well consisitently. in the boys rajdeep, prasenjit n bhanu r gud. while galz bhavya torsha n sourahee r consisitent.

No it is about chossing the best singer

There are various aspects of Indian Idol 4 , I am not able to understand specially Judges.

1) Why such contestatnts were chosen for Galas, if you think they were not good enough?

I can't stand how biased and annoying and partial the Indian Idol judges are so I always root for the underdogs.. the contestants who get treated like step children..

therefore, Go Bhanu, Go Kapil and Remo!!

its not like the so called "good singers" in this show are anything extraordinary.. last year everyone raved about Mr Karoake star amit Paul who was as bland as economy class airline food.. when pitted against the likes of raja Hasan and others from other shows, it showed how great of a singer he truely was

afaic, all the singers are mediocre in the show (some slightly better than others but its not like i would in a million years would want to buy their CDs blergh).. so i would want someone to stay in the show who don't irritate me to the core..

and ones who the judges don't froth their mouths over and overhype them as if they are Tansen.. blergh!

things would be different if there was a contestant who actually was extraordinary like say Poonam of srgmp, Ali Abbas, Raja Hasan or Amanat Ali.. but they are all bland generic boring singers with negligible difference in talent between them so who cares.. i say GO UNDERDOGS!! you got Mrs Ackles' support!

also i can't stand how close minded and judgmental some of the posters in this forum are..

they are so quick to make up their own mind on why the junta votes for someone going on and on about regionalism.. as if their overhyped favorites are all saints and only get votes based on their so called talent.. give me a break!

some very wise people they know who they are, were all "Kuldeep is getting all of Punjab's support", like srsly he's not from Punjab.. just because his name sounds like he could be a Punjabi they are quick to be judgmental...then the same people harp on and on about regionalism.. Take a hard look at yourself first then talk about others??

and then they also bracketed Kapil and talked about his ethnicity and region he belongs to. What the? in the show they just said where he comes from? i could be wrong but doesn't some other contestant also come from the same town? Dhiralun(spelling?) Not once did he mention his heritage or anything afaik.. and yet they are quick to put him in the regional biasness bracket.. aren't YOU jumping into conclusion and speculating his ethnicity and caste/creed YOURSELF???

not everyone's a connoisseur of music like a lot of people in this forum act like they are LOL..some people have a different ear for music and what is good to them may not be good to you and vice versa so for a change please get off the high horse..
