Menuka was my favourite in this episode. She stole the show and totally nailed in her performance. I cannot wait to see further down the road!

Exactly, Shreya irrespective of a terrific singer is also a really good judge. She ensured that she told the singers what part of their performance did she like the most along with the technicalities which is so missing in reality shows these days. It's either wah wah mind-blowing jai mata di or downright terrible feedback, judges hardly breakdown the contestant's performances and say what worked for them and what not. And thankfully I see that happening this season. I don't have much hopes from Sanu though since he is a bit like HR while giving feedback but well I'm not complaining since I get to hear him every week now smiley36

But again still all only positives . Yet again the judges are only going to praise. So from that aspect nothing is different no matter who the judge is or was. But of course it's great to see SG and KS so can't complain.smiley4

These are auditions. They are showing only the best of the contestants. And everyone must have chosen the song of their strong zone and practiced multiple times. We can expect constructive feedback when final selection is done and contestants will have to perform different kinds of songs.

Ab aise Menuka ke jaise without promo wala surprise performance agar Debanjana se bhi aa jaye toh chain ki shanti milegi smiley36

Out of all promos they have released, only seven more are remaining to be aired which they'll do today I guess since they did 6 yesterday. And if there are two more days of auditions left next week then hope is there to see more new faces.

Is she the blind girl who came in SRGMP or someone else?

Another good day of auditions. They did go a bit into some of the contestants back story and tried to make it a bit dramatic but thankfully it was limited to the intro AVs only and the judges didn't take part in it. I think the mix of contestants in both the days was really good given that we had a variety of singers with different tonal qualities, especially today's episode. I liked Muskaan the most today followed by the Kashmiri guy and Shivani. I also liked Pavan 's improvisation on Rakshe Kamar and that he sang it in true Qawali style. Like Vishal said, his falsetto was amazing! Overall very satisfied with the first week of auditions+ we got Shreya singing Banarasiya and Sanu singing Dekhenge Tumhe Pyaar. Aur kya chahiye smiley42

Now hoping next week is good, only three people from the initial promos is remaining which means next week we are going to have all fresh faces! I really liked that they edited Ahana's song and included bits of other people singing too but they could really edit out that nonsense they did with the shy laughing contestant and instead show us more of the last three contestants who got the golden ticket, especially the girl.

Probably I should have waited a little more before saying this. smiley36

But still it was within limits.

Today I liked Muskan's performance the most. This song I heard today for the first time and her rendition made me love it. The best female contestant so far along with Anajana for me. Potential finalist.

Shivani has a strong voice and seems to be classically very strong. Adya has a unique texture. Lovely performance by her.

Is Pawan Nagar Renu Nagar's brother? I just checked his insta, probably I should not comment on someone's life condition but the story he told doesn't match with what you see on his insta feed. But very nice performance nonetheless, reminded me of Salman Ali at some places.

Really liked Afaq's voice and loved that he chose a 90's romantic song for the audition. I am looking forward to his next performance.

It was so good to see Dhroon again. SRGMP Li'l Champs 2017 is a very special season for me, I love all the kids. These kind of songs were his forte and he performed really well here too but his changed voice is not as attractive as before. This is one thing which happens with some of the male singers when they grow up.
