Just browsed through the episode. Will post an update later. But come to think of it, the contrast here, again is Aditya is incapable of doing what Imlie has done. Imlie suffered and still is, the consequences of Aditya and Malini's marriage till date. But look at the spurned husband act he has put up after the coat scene. It is about his pain and he will be inflicting the same to her. Gashmeer is really good in his portrayal of Aditya, but the precap just promises that Aditya is just nailing the coffin of this marriage and she is again being pushed into a probable marriage with Aryan. Hopefully, seeing them reverse the narrative with AryLie, the marriage of convenience will be by choice and not force.

Late to watching and off to bed - but I had to say … so disgusted by Adi. No matter how “bad” other people are (Imlie, Aryan, etc) in his eyes, they’ve never acted out of emotion. Yet his righteous ass literally took a step to slander someone he loves. Love isn’t possession && yet everything projected from him is dark and rotting 😤😤

I’m honestly disgusted — he never questioned anything, (granted Imlie is in shock so she didn’t question anything either), he repeatedly shows a lack of faith in his relationship and Imlie, he makes everything an “woe is Adi” tear fest, and instead of “leaving her” he’s decided to “shatter her.” Wasn’t he offended of assumedly being treated to the same?!

lol sorry a bit heated about this sorry excuse of a character … he was flawed but he’s further becoming unredeemable. Literally squandering every opportunity to fix things.

I have a feeling that Aryan and Imlie won't be forced into marriage. It doesn't follow the feel of their dynamic so far. I have a feeling they will prove the world wrong by proceeding as if they've done nothing wrong. It's clear Aryan cares for Imlie. I think seeing this his mother will calm down and let Aryan and Imlie progress naturally.

Imlie also needs to accept this divorce. Aditya isn't that same Aditya anymore. I wonder how long she will walk around in that sari until she finally accepts that. My heart just breaks. But she's right. "Hum Imlie hain". She will rise again. This time with Aryan's help. And while she rises she'll squeeze her away into his heart for good.

Bold - Exactly! That's how their relationship dynamic has been so far and that's what would be the most natural progression. Just like Aryan, Imlie also needs to adopt the to hell with the world approach and AryLie's story will be a treat to watch as it unfolds.

Did Aditya write an article about Aryan and Imlie, defaming them??? This is heights, if Aditya has done it, he has no right to tarnish a woman's reputation this way..

Though I like Imlie and Aryan together, I wouldn't want them to get married because of Aditya defaming her in the newspaper. She is shown to be a strong and courageous women. She proudly declares herself to be Mithi's daughter. Such defamation cannot deter her. She will fight back and rise again.

It's interesting how he treats the two women in his life so differently. Malini did worse to him and he goes and deletes proofs of her wrongdoing to protect her, let's her stay with him and his family and takes responsibility for their child. On the other hand, Imlie, who is also his wife, has done NOTHING. LITERALLY, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He didn’t see anything, and yet he goes all out and defames her before the world.

Exactly! It would be so beautiful to see them rise from the dirt, that Mr. AKT is dumping on them, without giving a damn about it. Also, two forced marriages in the same show with the same character feels way too much. 🤞

I somehow don't think Aryan and Imlie will get married because of the article, but these two might fight tooth and nail, standing with their head tall they might prove the article otherwise.. And I feel Aryan and Imlie's relationship will evolve organically, with Aryan empowering Imlie, guiding her to greater heights of success, they will become friends and later more. My guess is that Aryan and Imlie's relationship will evolve like Maan and Geet, without jumping to marriage first..If anyone here has watched Geet they can understand why I am saying this..

But on second thoughts, this is a Gul Khan show and weddings most of the time in her shows happen in some majboori, so following that routine if Aryan and Imlie get into a marriage of convenience, then unka relationship will evolve post wedding.

Though I prefer the former for Aryan and Imlie..

If we go purely by the symbolism, Imlie will be able to move on from her love for Aditya but Aditya will suffer. He will never be able to put his love for Imlie out of his heart for good.

When giving her the divorce papers, his entire spiel about how before she leaves him and walks away with her boyfriend, he will leave her and go, and specifically his words Tumhari zindagi se, tumhare dil se, tumse door, pehle hum jayenge are indicative of that. When (if) the truth of Malini's manipulations is revealed, he will be the one left with nothing but a mountain full of regrets. And fo those who're still waiting for Malini's machinations to come out in the open, it won't happen till AryLie have progressed way ahead or have already happened. Because right now, those revelations won't add any value to the story.

To me, this definitely sounds like she will move on from him (and won't return) but that can't be said for him.
