So, here I am back again with my take on the episode today.
For starters, I would really like to applaud Gashmeer for the spurned-husband act he put up. No wonder it was emotionally exhausting for him to perform these scenes, cause I get it, he isn't enjoying playing this version of Aditya much😆. But positively the rejection Aditya felt came through. But but but, he is eventually digging his own grave and by closing doors for Imlie to return, he himself is facilitating that she walks towards Aryan.
Imlie has finally let loose all the pain she has been holding. Seems like ages doesn't it. Thankfully, they did not tamper with her core and show suicide drama. She is better than that and they proved so. Aryan did freak out for her, but I liked Imlie's come back. From Imlie's PoV, he knows nothing about her history to comment on her strength, so ration paani leke kyun chad jata hai ye hamesha. Bhai, give the girl a break. Usko bhaashan nahi, sukoon chahiye. Aur tu bhi mauka mila nahi shuru ho jaata hai. Aryan bhaiyya, strength iss baat me nahi ki dard ko mehsoos hi na karo , strength is baat me hai ki apne har ek emotion ko feel karo, face karo, aur phir bhi aage badte raho. But, I guess this is where Imlie and Aryan differ very much.
I am happy that Imlie's history did not peel off in layers. Ek dum, ek baar me raw, bitter truth to this one person she has grown strangely comfortable with. And how Aryan was not fazed with all of this. He absorbed all of it, and moved on. I like that their moments or interactions are not bound by drama. It is fact-to-fact and to the point. Another thing I liked as well, is Aryan letting her cry her heart out. And him silently walking away to the other side, letting her pick up pieces of her broken and trampled heart.
I will not go into details of Tripathis and Rathods, which was really boring and horrid, to begin with. Ek taraf Aparna refusing to believe Imlie facilitated this divorce, and ek taraf Narmada pushing for marriage. Kya irony hai bhai.
Finally, coming to my insight on the matter. I don't think Aditya as a character has ever been vindictive, but with Imlie, he has always felt emotions to an extreme, be it love, anger, jealousy, or anything for that matter. I am keeping my opinion on hold before tomorrow because I don't think Aditya will engage in a public mud-slinging match in his own paper that too against the CEO and his feature writer. But, ye zaroor hai, ki kuch aur gur gobar ye aadmi zaroor karega.
Coming to the possibility of a marriage of convenience between Aryan and Imlie is very much possible. These people will only give slow death to couples, but not slow-burn love stories. So it can happen. Anyway, this show has f**cked the legalities of a marriage, so how, what, when, I will not get into it. It will happen. Jab kuch nahi hai dono ke beech to hahakaar macha diya. Jab kuch hoga, to pata nahi kya karenge. Since they are cued in to reverse the narrative of AdiLie equation via AryLie, I can bet that this marriage will be of mutual consent and respect, but no love.
