LMAO Gul really said that? then I am absolutely sure EMA will happen between Aditya & Imlie. Gul loves her tortured love stories. So she's definitely going to torture Adi & Imlie with this EMA & sister sacrifice drama 😆

And here I was putting so much trust on Gul Mata that she usually show pairs that have eyes for each other only , other angles are never really anything meaningful for them nor do they last long.

Even after knowing it's the remake of Ishti Kutum and being an avid watcher of IK ,knowing exactly how that crap is gonna hit the fan I still invested my time ,energy and most importantly emotional attachment to this show because it's a Gul show and I trusted her love stories to maintain the sanctity of marriage and purity of love.

Male lead is the central character of the story. Imlie or baha or just whoever FL are here only for gaining trp. The so called women centric shows.

tbh most Gul shows have mostly focused on her Heroes, when it comes to the plot. Her heroines are usually there to solve Hero's problems & make them emotionally mature, also for some lighthearted moments bcoz her heroes are all broody & quiet types 😜

With "Imlie" she's just going more bolder & dramatic, with her hero literally being a two-timing cheater, who will string along two sisters 🤷

EMA & sister drama will be reserved for Adi & Imlie bcoz 1) source material from original show 2) Gul likes to show some real messed up relationships in her shows 3) "hero married to one girl & in love with another" is basically how she described this show (lol funny how she didn't say it's a women empowerment show or a story about a young village girl finding her path 🤪)

Gul also said there are no negative characters in this show & she'll show this love triangle in a "real" way 🤔

show has just started. Abhi toh real story shuru hi nahi hui. Adi ki second shaadi ke baad hogi shuru. Imlie will cry seeing Adi with Moon constantly, Moon will be in her lala land & Adi will experience the after effects of his two shaadis 😆

I am really excited to see how Gul handles the whole EMA thing between Adi & Imlie bcoz both these characters have high morals. How will they fall in love with each other despite that? It's gonna be super interesting.

No body will watch then. Not even for drama. All the points you have previously mentioned that the ITV viewers lap up and I agree that they do , they do it with a hard line drawn around. Showing the ML as a two timing EMA doing cheater will be totally unacceptable for even them. They lap up this kind of drama but they're also some of the world's fiercest lead jodi sanctity protect squads.

All the sky high rocket ratings are because at the end of the day they are fully expecting and actually waiting for the ML's marriage with the other girl to be called off. A long drama filled track ending with a most satisfying climax where the ML will of course back out from marrying the other woman. That's what they watch these shows for. And usually they get it too. It's unthinkable for them that the marriage can actually happen. They've come to expect any cause , contrivance or even divine intervention to prevent such a sacrilege. 🤷‍♀️

Even back at 2011 , when Ishti Kutum , a Bengali show , went the EMA way , the blow up was so high that it is still talked about. It is probably the most outraged and outcried track of Bengali tv history. The ML was bashed in a way that was unimaginable and unprecedented in all social media handles available back then.

And this is 2020 and this is a pan India show.

Ishti kutum hi hotstar pe available kara dete, kya zaroorat thi new show banane ki. Adi and Imlie are people of high morals, agar ema karte hai to bahut galat hoga. Waise aisa hoga nahi, muzhe nahi lagta. Story ke characters ishti se bahut alag hai.
