@TM: I am making a guess here that your first post was about the primitive customs shown in the current track. If it is, then I also agree with you. I was so appalled to see Indira putting back on the pallu and agreeing with their customs.

I am not giving a thumbs up about whatever Rishi has suffered at all. The whole point is that the customs, very primitive customs, his family is following and having Indira actually succumb to it is what is appaling.
The sex determination test alone turned me off. I want to see Indira fight against such customs not go along with it.

In these times, with rape, etc going on, we don't need to see Indira quietly accepting these things.

Yes you got my point... With crime against women already on a high, we don't need more shows instigating gender stereotypes and violence against women. Our movies and shows influence our culture and attitudes. Subtle denial as in Indira's case won't work. The protagonist needs to be shown fighting strongly against misogynistic traditions and social evils not accepting it. Subtle denial wont work, a strong message needs to be sent. I hope Illa Bedi learns something from the Jyoti pandey, the very recent Barsat case and slew of other cases happing on daily basis. India's male female sex ratio itself is alarmin, we dont need tv shows contributing to it.

thanks for the post! u have said everything that i was thinking! i do not want indira to follow the chandela stupid customs anymore🤢 they seem very harsh and rude to females 😡 and it was a surprise that even rishi was agreeing with them 🥱 i wish indira teaches them a lesson soon and as indira is a brave girl i think she will do it.

inspite of Inshi scene, I was not able to like the episode becuse of this orthodox lecture given by Tau.
I predidcted that the one who would stop Indira from leaving might be tau. but not this way.

any way pl. do not quit . this might be single occagan.Illa wanted to stop Indira in jN and failed in doing it in rt mannar. In incoming episode . indira will show her hitlergiri.
