Secure in love...

In today's episode we saw a jealous rishi. Though it started in a comic way, soon we found that it has taken a serious note and rishi felt so bad that Indira had to convince him her love.

This is a situation that many in love have gone through, especially during the initial phase of a relationship. This happens mainly due to insecurity, which arises out of many reasons. Here in rishi's case, I would say it could be due to the insecurity he felt about his closest relationships in his past, with his own parents. He was never accepted for what he was and was always ignored when it came to his emotional needs. Someone who has gone through this in their early phase of life tends to feel that they are not worthy of love.

But till today's episode, I never felt that rishi and indira was insecure in love. I remember that we had discussion in the forum why indira didn't say a thank you when he chose to take her side against his family and even won it for her during the mandy's rape trial. We didn't see rishi also thanking indira for signing off SN papers to arrange money to save his life. She also chose rishi, instead of a shelter for her 7 member family. I thought their relationship has grown beyond the formalities of a 'thank u'. I thought they felt secure in love.

Indira of course convinced him and he also understood well I guess. When u feel secure in a relationship, u can ask them to do anything that you wouldn't normally ask some one else to do. Tht's what indira did when she asked him to sleep on floor and play the part of a servant in their game to save SN. How could have Indira asked Sumer to do that? If she had asked will that not implicate deeper level in their relationship?

Well said - Yes you are so right insecurities and reassurances are often part of having a relationship and having the capacity to understand one another. No matter how confident and self assured one is there will always be a time when a partner feels vulnerable no matter how long they've known each other.

I think it quite a justification through that post why there shouldn't be a thankyou from either of them or why she takes Rishi for granted as she is of the opinion that every action by Indu, Rishi truly understands as to why and concurs with her even without her elaborationg her actions.

This one went bit wrong as Rishi was not the Rishi with his Maakan malkinji... Rishi was competing with Sumer, whom he reckons is a kind of competition to draw Indu attention that anything else. So, when Indu went with what Sumer had to say about being NRI and handing him that naukar post as well as Indu asking Rishi to sleep down, he lost his senses and forgot why Indu might have said so.

I really needed Indu to comfort him as to how important he is still for her and then very quickly he gets back to self.
