very beautiful thread and I read it fully finally .I was distracted with some thing else past 2 days now I am back to normal so I can answer.

See word platonic jes I feel I just wanted to find a word beyond physical desire. What I mean is there is a connection with her soul. A sense of completeness .even for Nikhil he feels this immense bonding with Laajo that is why he still cannot understand why she never told him before leaving. To him Laajo is some one to look up to, some one who is always there, never causes him any pain and silently takes all his pain away. she is someone who gave him comfort and peace and once she left he was left with this void which he fails to understand.

Their relationship is not just platonic but way beyond ,it is spiritual and it is so pure that I have no name for it. The reason it touches us at so many different levels is because of its purity. What Nikhil feels for Laajo is something I can just feel but not describe. I just know it is love in its purest form...and as per Laajo...she is love itself, her whole being defines love...and that is what makes this character beautiful...beyond words...beautiful simply.

Really How beautifully u told ur feelings and opinions on love . Hats off to u yaar .
The way u said that laajo created her own world in which no expectations, no regrets
only there is only love and no one can stop her loving nikhil in her own world , Its amazing
yaar .u know only few people will attain that maturity laajo showing when they wont
succeed in love .

I know i repeatedly saying that nikhil does n't love laajo and he loves ishaana and i
given my reasons in my point of view even though all are opposite to my view and
indirectly that has become the reason for u to opening this beautiful thread .

Hmm so initially i was firm in my opinion that nikhil does n't love laajo and he loves
only ishaana .

And now after nikhil coming to laajo and seeing some intense feelings, confusion
on his face i am confused about his heart, his feelings . But i surely now beleive that
he wont be the same nikhil anymore after returning . Something stirred something has changed surely .

Oh how i love I love to see falling of nikhil completly in love with my dear laajo with out
any confusion without any doubts . Mainly jes people like me who still are not convinced
that he loves laajo should accept without denial . I dream one day that too in near
future it happens .

Hey from now onwards i love to see the internal struggle in nikhil every second
when he is with his gf ishaana and how will he realise whom he loves truly .
until now its only ishaana for him and for me also .

I want ishaana 's true nature and the cunning palns to get him all should be
exposed to nikhil . Iam dying to see his face when he knows all about
ishaana and his realisation .

Thank u yaar jes i love this journey with all wonderful people like u , sami and all
others .

The way I see it is that Ishana wants Nikhil more as a trophy, arm candy, and she will go to any length for this. However it's not love, she is not mature enough for that and may never reach that realisation of giving love, sharing love. For her to let go of Nikhil means a loss of perhaps emotional investment, and a loss of face. It will be very interesting to see how this issue is expressed by the program makers.
