one day gulaal was sitting with panba they were talking about kesar

panba said"mein apne is bache ki success se bahoot khush hun….gulaal mujhe to yankeen hi nahi hota k mera kesar kabhi bhi jimmedaari lena seekh paayega…wo to hamesha se chota sa kesar tha hasta khelta ghar mein kya chal raha hai matlab hi nahi tha use aur aaj dekho kaise itne si umar mein saari jimmedaari kitne achi tarah se utha li"

gulaal was extremely happy she said "haan panba mein bahut khush hun kesar k kamyaabi se…..vasant ka sapna poora ho raha hai bas ab rewa k shaadi ache se ho jaaye to mera vasant ko diyaa hua vaada poora ho jayega…..sab kuch thek ho jayega"

panba said "haan gulaal rewa k baad kesar k shaadi bhi ho jaaye to mujhe sukun mil jayega"

gulaal was shocked…..she looked at her in astonishment

panba looked at gulaal and said "gulaal yaad haina tune mujhse vaada kiya tha tu apne aur kesar k is rishte ko tod degi aur kesar k ache ladki se shaadi karvaayegi yaad haina tujhe"

gulaal looked down her eyes rolled in amusement she was numbed and devastated she could speak and think for a moment……and then she collected herself and remembered her promise…..she had made a promise to panba that she will never sustain her relationship she had promised she will break her marriage….she had promised to marry kesar to a nice girl….how can she forget her promise….her commitment

gulaal said in choked voice "kuch nahi panba aap chinta mat kijeye kesar aur rewa k shaadi karwaana meri jimmedaari hai mein jimmedaari jarur nibhaungi….dekhna panba kesar ko achi jeevan saathi milegi"

Panba looked at her and embraced her unknowingly gulaal was in tears…..

Meanwhile Sudha was passing by the room…….she heard the whole conversation

She quickly reached her room she thought for a sec and then she ranged her elder sister and started talking

Raman came inside the room and he heard sudha talking to her sister

Sudha "jiji mujhe modi house k property par haq jamana ka mauka mil gaya hai aap bas talli ko yanha jald se jald bhej do kanhi aisa naa ho kesar k shaadi kanhi aur ho jaaye aur hum haath par haath rakhe beithe rahe"

Raman heard and said "yeh kya kah rahi sudha…..talli…kesar k shaadi….property"

Sudha turned back and said "batati hun…….beithu tum" and she made him sat and then said "raman mein panba k kamre k bahar thi tabhi meine gulaal aur panba ko kehte suna k wo kesar k shaadi kissi achi ladki se karwaayenge".

She continued "gulaal apna rishta todna chahiti hain…jante ho iska matlab kesar se jo bhi shaadi karega use is modi house mein raaj karne ka mauka milega"

Raman said "kya"

Sudha said "haan vasant k baad kesar hi modi house ka vaaris hai aur ab to uska business bhi ache se chal raha hai…gulaal apna deeyavattu nahi nibahan chahti wo aur panba kisi aur se kesar k shaadi karwana chahiti hain….isliye meine talli ko bula liya hai taaki isese pehle kesar k shaadi kisi aur se hone k baat chale mein talli aur kesar k shaadi k baat pakki kar lu"

Raman looked at her and said "tum pagal ho gayi ho kya tum janti ho kesar k shaadi ho chuki hai gulaal k saath aur phir bhi tum talli ko in sab me laana chahiti ho"

Sudha looked at him and said "kaun si shaadi yeh bhi koi shaadi hai kesar 20 saal ka hai aur gulaal 25 saal ki arey kesar k to umar bhi shaadi layak nahi thi jab uski shaadi hui mein kesar aur talli k sirf shaadi paakki karungi shaadi tab karungi jab kesar k age us layak ho jayegi"

Raman looked at her and said "haan par mat bhulo tumhi thi jo gulaal ko deeyarvattu k liye majboor kar rahi thi us samay tumne bhi diaba aur jamunaba ka saath diya tha"

Sudha replied" haan diya tha par tab haalat dusare the ab gulaal hi rishte ko nibhana nahi chahiti isliye mein talli ko is ghar mein laana chahiti hun….talli achi ladki hain…. educated hain kesar k bachpan k dost hai aur kesar ko pasand karti hain…kya galat hain isme aur agar talli is ghar mein aa jayegi to mera bhi is ghar mein status badh jayega

Raaman said "tum sahi nahi kar rahi"

Sudha replied back raman "tum mere beech mein pad pado…meine jo socha hai mein wo poora kar ke rahungi"

Raman knew his wife so he decided to keep quiet

Next day gulaal was preparing breakfast quietly she had not slept whole night panba's word and her promise tormented her..she was feeling very low

Kesar was ready to leave for office he was sitting in the drawing room gulaal came and gave his cup of tea with heavy heart…kesar looked at her…he saw she was sad…kesar got up and started searching something

Gulaal looked at him and said "kya kar rahe ho"

Kesar replied gulaal "mat pucho bahut problem ho gayi hai mil hi nahi rahi"

Gulaal asked "kya"

Kesar said "abhi yanhi thi pata nahi kanha hai agar nahi mili to mera poora din kharab ho jayega"

Gulaal looked at him and asked "kya cheez hai agar nahi mili to din kharab ho jayega"

Kesar looked at her and said "tumhari smile"

Gulaal smiled a bit

Kesar smiled back and said "haan mil gayi ab mera din bahoot acha jayega"

Gulaal smiled and said "acha ab tea khatam karo office nahi jaana kya" and she left

Kesar was about to leave he searched for his keys and said "gulaal ab sach mein keys kho gayi…"

Gulaal replied from kitchen "wanhi hai dekho"

Kesar replied "nahi mujhe nahi dekh rahi"

A voice said "dekheege kaise ankhon k jagah button fit karke rakhe hain"

Kesar looked above he was surprised as talli was standing there………
