Written Update Dec 10, 2010, Episode 20

Dushyant tells Sudha happily that Gulaal accepted his proposal, and when he shows her his empty hands he sees that the sindoor box is still in it, Sudha taunts him since he was dreaming, he looks over and sees Gulaal and the girls playing with Kesar.

Mota Bha is outside and calls Gulaal, the villagers have come to thank her, Gulaal says God did everything, Mota Bha says everyone used to insult Talsagra by calling it a village without water, today because of her everyone is happy. The women give Gulaal several gifts, Jamna and Ghigha don't like it. Mota Bha asks her to ask for whatever she wants, he promises that he will give it to her, she tells him that he will come to drop her off in her village. Mota Bha is shocked as is everyone, he looks up at Ghigha on the terrace and goes inside. Vasant asks Gulaal why she asked for that, she knows both villages are enemies, now Mota Bha will definitely go and Rashipur's people will not leave him. Gulaal says he will come as a guest, just like Vasant trusts his village she does hers, to put an end to the enmity they have to do something.

Ghigha expresses anger at Gulaal, Mota Bha yells angrily that Rashipur took initiative in ending the enmity, a 10 year old kid is smarter than Ghigha to understand this simple thing, Ghigha says he lost his daughter and nobody came forward to help her in Rashipur, he brought her up with so much love and had to carry her body with the same hands, what difference does it make to Mota Bha, he can go ahead and visit Rashipur. Jamna says how can he go, Dayi Baa will decide now, Dayi Baa says that girl has done a huge favor for them, she forgot everything and lived with them, strangers to her, and helped them, it is their duty to take her back with honor, and as Talsagra's chief Mota Bha has to go. Jamna says hurt when their own family will support outsiders they will have to be quiet.

Kesar plays his music sooo adorably, he is just sooo cute, Vasant looks on and tells Gulaal that Kesar has decided that the cow will give more milk listening to music and has forced Vasant to remove milk from the cow while he plays music. OMG, Kesar is just sooo cute, I love him, I so miss this funny adorable side of him which died with Vasant. Vasant asks him how much more will he play, the bucket is full. Kesar feels happy and Gulaal giggles, he tells Kesar that this is all a result of Kesar's secret, Gulaal laughs, Kesar asks why is she laughing, Vasant says she didn't laugh but is happy, Kesar sees the bucket empty and asks where the milk went, Vasant says the cow thought it was water and drank it all up, Kesar gets mad and leaves.

Vasant introduces all the cows to Gulaal, one cow's name is Reva. Reva teases Kesar a lot, the cow has a habit of hitting her horns so Kesar named her Reva. He then named another villager's cow's name Devika, because the cow jumps and runs a lot, he says he will take her there the next day, but then realizes that Gulaal is leaving the next morning, and both feel bad. Both start to say something then she asks Vasant to say it first. He tells her that he doesn't know what will happen in Rashipur, but the time he spent with her were the best days of his life, and every man wants that such days should never end, can this brightness remain always? Gulaal says why not, if there is love, there is no darkness in the land of love. He asks if she can meet him on the way he is going, Devika comes there and takes Gulaal away.

Reva is in her room kissing her fiance's photo, both ask about him, Devika tells Gulaal about her fiance Kamlesh. Reva puts the photo away and asks Gulaal if she is engaged, Gulaal says no but will happen soon. Gulaal looks in the mirror and sees Vasant watching, Dushyant is watching as well. They ask Gulaal what type of a guy she likes, Gulaal says one who has long moustache, is young, wears a turban and wears pointy shoes, Vasant looks at his head, no turban, no moustache, and his shoes are not pointy so he feels dejected, Dushyant feels proud of his long moustache, Devika asks if she wants a parrot or husband, Dushyant laughs, she tells Devika that the guy should have round cheeks like Devika's, and has lots of love, who always thinks of Gulaal the entire time and has her name on his lips all the time. Vasant feels upset and leaves.

These lines just reminded me of Kesar.

Except for the moustache and pointy shoes, lol. I see Kesar and Gulaal here and realize how much they have changed now. Gulaal looked like one of the girls with Reva and Devika, after Vasant's death she clearly seemed much older and no longer as young and bubbly. I do wish Kesar will bring that out in her, both need someone who loved them as much as Vasant.
