Written Update Nov 24, 2010, Episode 8

Recap: Gulaal had to say her correct name during the prayer and that is Neerja, Vasant found out and was upset. Collector sent the police to arrest Mota Bha, instead of Mota Bha Dushyant has to go to prison, Jamna creates drama since her son had to go to prison instead of Mota Bha. Gulaal goes to Vasant, he makes her wear the anklets and both realize that raamjaliya was right about Gulaal, the anklets ring on their own near the lake.

Vasant says happily that Gulaal can find water underground, raamjaliya was right, and laughs crazily since his mission is fulfilled, Gulaal is scared. Vasant drops on the ground and says his village is saved now, Gulaal removes the anklets and runs away from there, she goes to the temple and shuts the door, she is scared and cries, and flashbacks to Vasant's words about Gulaal having the Goddess' boon about finding water. She wonders what type of a boon is this that she fears even feeling it.

Vasant calls Paan Baa and expresses happiness about finding Neerja, their village is safe, raamjaliya's dream was true, he has seen with his own eyes. He tells her that till he returns she should not let a single house empty. She asks if he will bring her, he says yes he just needs her family's permission, she asks who's daughter she is. Vasant hesitates and says that her parents are good people, she is from Kanchan's in-laws family, Paan Baa is nervous and asks what is he saying, Vasant asks her not to worry, he tells her that Gulaal herself didn't know she had this boon, everyone calls Neerja Gulaal here. Paan Baa is scared how he will bring her here, he says that just like God helped him find Neerja he will bring her here. She says that if villagers find out about him there or even in Talsagra what will happen, he says blood rivers will flow, but right now Talsagra needs water more than blood, he says he will explain to the villagers that without water neither the village nor enmity will remain. He asks her not to tell anyone anything about Neerja, everything will be fine. Paan Baa is worried.

Paan Baa tells Mota Bha happily that Vasant is coming back with Neerja, Mota Bha tells her to be patient, she starts getting soaked with the thought of clouds, she says why not, he says they found Neerja not water. Kesar overhears and yells Neerja is found, Paan Baa says now the whole village will find out. Kesar is sooo cute, clearly the village is his house and he cares a lot about it. Kesar runs yelling for everyone at home that Vasant found Neerja. Sudha tells Jamna that Rashipur's Neerja is coming, Jamna is angry. Kesar tells Dushyant that Neerja is found. He asks him if he knows who Neerja is, Neerja is from Rashipur, they are enemies, Neerja is their enemy.

Jamna asks her husband to do something, Neerja has been found and Vasant is bringing her here, he says Mota Bha will not let her enter the village, she says if Lakshman can be in this world then so can Neerja, he asks who Lakshman, she says you who else, Vasant left for Rashipur what did Mota Bha do, nothing, tomorrow she will come here he will not do anything, he sent Raman to the city and her husband did nothing, he sent Dushyant to prison and nobody did anything.

The villagers come to meet Mota Bha, he says that God will make everything fine. Dayi Baa asks him if Vasant is returning, she tells him that when Vasant returns he should think as Head of village and not as a father, the father will be angry but if Vasant returns with water he has fulfilled his mission as a Head. Gheegha comes asking Mota Bha if he will let Neerja enter, Dayi Baa says looks like he met Jamna, she says that both brothers are her eyes and she doesn't differentiate between Paan Baa and Jamna, but Jamna's head is like coals, with a little bit of insertion of breath she starts burning, Gheegha should explain to her that if there is a solution to save the village they should accept it.

Dushyant takes the money for selling stolen grains and tells the guy he has to do one more work, the woman is coming who will find water with her feet, why not cut her feet off.

A poor woman comes to get water from Mota Bha's well, Sudha scolds her. Paan Baa comes there and asks Sudha to give her the water, and apologizes to the poor woman. Sudha tells her that they will not have any water left if they keep giving it away.

Dayi Baa prays to God. Poonam knocks on Gulaal's door, she is crying inside. Vasant tells her he will take care of it. He knocks asking Gulaal to open and listen to him, all this is not black magic, Gulaal looks so scared and innocent. She flashbacks to her moments with Vasant, Vasant finally opens the door, she looks frightened out of her wits. He tells her that he understands that she is scared, but think that God chose her out of so many people, she should feel happy that she has a boon to quench so many people's thirst, she should not be scared. She says she has started feeling scared of Vasant now, he is double-faced, she doesn't know what face he will show now. He says that she was in front of him but he didn't know, and its strange that she had this boon since childhood but was unaware, just think that one step of hers can quench so many people's thirst, one step can save so many villages and lives. He then pleads with her to come and save his village, Talsagra. She looks at him shocked out of her wits hearing Talsagra and says what, Talsagra. He says yes, he doesn't want to hide anything now, he is Talsagra's chief Mota Bha's son, Vasant. Gulaal is even more shocked and horrified, and slaps him hurt. She says she was right about Talsagra, he is so shameless, first he changed his face, then work, even name, he betrayed the people he stayed with. He tries to explain, she refuses to listen and says that before she tells everyone about him he should leave. He asks her to give him whatever punishment she wants, but please come with him to save his village and quench their thirst.

Gulaal's father hears this and yells out Lakha's name and falls down the stairs. Everyone runs and takes her father to the hospital.
