Written Update Dec 9, 2010, Episode 19

Reva and Devika tell Gulaal that Vasant got sweets (laddus) made f0r her. Gulaal says they should hold a competition of eating sweets, they say between Dushyant and Vasant. Kesar says that Dushyant will win since nobody can eat more than him. Dushyant comes there and Gulaal convinces him to participate. Vasant also comes there and hears about the bet about eating sweets Vasant, the girls convince him. Vasant is worried and asks what will the loser have to do, Gulaal says the loser will have to get sindoor (red powder that married woman apply on head) from the temple, the winner will have to feed everyone sorbet (gola).

Kesar and Vasant plan where Kesar will feed Vasant, keeps the remaining piece in his hand, and discards the remains in a plate hidden. Kesar keeps one remain outside for everyone to see by mistake, Vasant indicates for him to hide it. Its a funny scene and I love Kesar and Vasant's relationship. Finally Vasant wins and Kesar is happy and Gulaal is mad. Vasant takes Kesar with him happy. When the girls collect all the plates to put them away Gulaal finds the hidden plate and realizes Vasant cheated.

Gulaal tells Vasant that she will tell everyone about his cheating, he runs after her and she runs to Dayi Baa in the temple, Gulaal tells Dayi Baa about his cheating, Vasant tells her about Gulaal's making her friend Neerja to tease Vasant, and the teasing goes on, Dayi Baa notices the eye lock between the two and Dayi Baa asks him to show her the village.

Dushyant meets them on the way and gives her the sindoor, Gulaal tells him about Vasant's cheating and says she will take the sindoor from Vasant's hands since he lost, Dushyant doesn't like it. Both go to the temple, Vasant tells her that whatever people ask in this temple they get three times, Vasant and Gulaal ring the bell yelling each others names repeatedly.

Dushyant is brooding in his room, Sudha tells him if he waits someone else will marry Gulaal.

The girls run after Kesar but he is beyond reach, the girls ask Gulaal to hide, they will run after Kesar and corner him to her location and she can catch him. Dushyant sees her hiding and hidden tells her that he wants to marry her, and tells her that if she takes the box of sindoor from his hands he will understand that she too likes him. He extends the box, a hand extends and takes the box and Dushyant is happy. I don't understand - who's hand was this? I haven't seen closure of this story line, no wonder Dushyant was so mad because it seems like he was led on but the hand seemed to be someone else's, not Gulaal's.
