I had written this prior to today’s episode and Virat’s confession confirmed the same .

The post leap narrative was circumstances separated Sairat where Sai was presumed to be dead . V lost the purpose in life and a small child gave him purpose to live . To make that small child part of his life he married a women who helped him raise the child without expecting anything in return . Fast forward to few years V meets his first wife and love of his life Sai and realizes she chose not to return to him . V felt betrayed and now he had to choose between Sai and his current wife who stood by him in bad times . V decides to choose the wife even if it means he has to stay in an loveless marriage . Rest is the story of how all three lives get entangled again due to Sairat’s kid and V again questioning his choices . The story aligns with post leap theme three innocent people stuck in an unpleasant situation where no one is right or wrong .

This is what they intended to show but the problem is they choose the women to be Pakhi who had a questionable past and since she was the reason behind Sairat separation V marrying her changed the above narrative into V betraying his first wife with his ex gf and deserting his family for his invalid wife .

No matter how much they say P helped V it will fall short against the number of crimes she has committed. If they chosen someone else as third lead then the story would have even interesting and Virat’s dilemma would be better understood by the audiences

This love without clearing other relations is messy. Going to put all blame on Sai. BK will opt out and not support Sai n last minute.

BK s following backdoor approach by telling Savi. She doesn't want her name to get involved i guess.

Exactly whatever said and done .. chosing to build a new life with patralekha is cheating on your dead wife’s memory

You made the criminal win by marrying her .. whatever she had wanted she has got by destroying the life of Vinayak , Savi and Sai. ..

However, if V did not marry the pyaari cheez, then the other couple whoever it may be, would be the end game... writers wanted to pave way for SaiRat that's why showed ViRakhi because audience will never accept Pakhi, same like they only showed Jags post leap with Sai, who isn't acceptable as new ML.

Pre leap Sai was accepted as the 'wife' and was sympathised because she was innocent in all the V-P crap...now the other one would have been sympathised but since it is Pakhi, she cannot be.

See this is why I stopped expecting or complaining

Nothing is being written for story sake...it's just to extend the show & get TRP

If they showed V maintaining distance with P, there are no hurdles, no suspense on how SaiRat will get back together. Virat repents & show gets over in 3 months. And they are no Leena to write intelligent stuff without the drama.

I don't think it's impossible to write this plot sensitively as a story of 3 white/grey people...it would have been very very interesting ....but they don't have the skills I suppose
