During Kaira time , Vedhika though was good was never accepted with Karthik and they still shipped Karthik with Naira . They had to turn Vedhika negative to get rid of her similarly in ghum and current generation the lead pair will be shipped irrespective of how good the third lead is .

If they want to retain og pair they mostly turn new entrant negative. Udaariyaan had huge TRP spike n beat ghum to become number 2 when Angad character introduced for FL.
Then they turned him negative to keep og pair.

Nothing is being written for story sake...it's just to extend the show & get TRP

If they showed V maintaining distance with P, there are no hurdles, no suspense on how SaiRat will get back together. Virat repents & show gets over in 3 months. And they are no Leena to write intelligent stuff without the drama.

I don't think it's impossible to write this plot sensitively as a story of 3 white/grey people...it would have been very very interesting ....but they don't have the skills I suppose

You should be confident. They not only lack skills, even if they bring someone skilled because the damage is done n w each passing week they are damaging it more n more.

BK should also have dialogues of how P s making Vinu weak and only Sai and Savi can get him to normal.

And she should have directly asked Sai to come to CN.

Sai going to CN s good so she can meet Vinu but she's going without anyone's invitation.

Hope Savi doesn't get manipulated.

Vinu still doesn't know he was lost n accident.

CN guys don't know about gun incident and the truth that P told Vinu about Sai abruptly and she told a wrong story.

The post leap narrative was circumstances separated Sairat where Sai was presumed to be dead . V lost the purpose in life and a small child gave him purpose to live . The story aligns with post leap theme three innocent people stuck in an unpleasant situation where no one is right or wrong .

This is what they intended to show but the problem is they choose the women to be Pakhi who had a questionable past and since she was the reason behind Sairat separation V marrying her changed the above narrative into V betraying his first wife with his ex gf and deserting his family for his invalid wife .

No matter how much they say P helped V it will fall short against the number of crimes she has committed. If they chosen someone else as third lead then the story would have even interesting and Virat’s dilemma would be better understood by the audiences

I had touched upon this in one of my posts long time back, but a little differently.

Ghum CVs are clever in this.

No matter the context they have successfully (though not satisfactorily) played around the title.

The entire theme of the story lies in the title "Ghum hain kisikey pyaar mein" and the initial promos.

They are sticking to it. And somewhere I think our expectations as viewers are wrong 😂

I feel they still could have played around the title with some character/story evolution. But that has not happened. With P in the picture it feels another rinse repeat situation.

They could have used BK Sai dynamics to progress in the show for sometime. Their dynamics had potential.

Alas! The CVs interpreted the title only as a love triangle.

It would have been less toxic and more bearable if family was the direct reason for the separation of course with kids in the picture and V being "Ghum hain kisikey pyaar mein". Even that track would've gained a lot of viewership.

And soney pe suhaga it is kishori and ayesha. Both have a wonderful screen presence!

BK did such a big kaand with her daughter & she got away with people continuing to respect her & hailing her as someone who truly loves the family. But they don't stop writing them nasty either. I don't understand yeh kya logic hai.

First 6 months of Ghum, with all the horrific secrets surrounding Devyani, I was expecting they will show Virat getting disillusioned with his family. But they made Sai & Virat whitewas her crimes. I realized then that they will never expose the family.

Man, they can't write anything sensible..family dynamics was a good theme. They can't even write normal side tracks which are requisite in most shows. So they serve toxicity & cringe.
