SS: Story of Vinayak and Saavi - Update page 17 - Page 6

Hola guys,

Yup you saw it right, the third chapter is here.
A small though because I didn't get the time to write much this week.

I enjoyed writing on the strong Sai and the way she shut everyone's mouth. No more spoilers, read it and see on your own. Hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I loved writing it.

Girls and boys, please don't mind the typos, gramatical errors and the phrases that make no sense. I am quite busy so don't have the time to proofread.

Sai subtly kept Saavi away from Virat but after a few days the little girl was smart enough to understand that her mother was doing it on purpose. One fine day Virat was waiting outside the house and when Saavi and her nanny came out the little girl ran towards him.

« You know where I live. », she said.
« I know where all the supergirls and explorers live. », he teased her.
« Silly you. », she rolled her eyes.
« I know. », he laughed. « I have something for you. », he added opening the car door.

He took out a few bags and handed it to her. The nanny grabbed Saavi's hand and dragged her inside the house. She immediately called Sai to inform about the incident. Sai rushed back home.

A while later, she entered the Chavan Niwas with all the rage. The entire family who was sharing a good time around a cup of tea were shocked. The news was correct. Sai was back. Virat was happy to see her while Pakhi fumed in silence. Virat approached her with a smile which diappeared after seeing that she was caring the bags.

« Take it as my last warning. Stay away from my daughter. », she said throwing the bags on his face.
« Hey, jungli mulgi... », Kaku started to shout.
« Shut up ! », she interrupted her shocking everyone. « I am not here to waste my precious time with people like you. », she added glaring at everyone. « Don't ever call Saavi nor try to meet her. As I said, stay happy with your family and let us be happy on our own. », she said to Virat.
« Sai, I just want to know my daughter and be a part of her life, please. », he pleaded.

Sai shook her had. Virat's mind traveled back to the past when Sai was in this exact position. She had begged him countless times for her son but he had taken him away from her fearing that she would leave him with their son.

« What is the proof that it's your daughter ? She could have her with someone else. », Omi said.

Sai laughed mockingly. Virat knew Sai wouldn't move on so easily with someone else. Not within a few months. After a few years there was still a chance but not immediately after their break up.

« I see you remained a sheep even after so many years. », Sai commented on Virat's forever silence and for always being busy pleasing his family. « I don't have a bed warmer in the name of a friend or a brother-in-law. », Sai taunted Virat then added, « But I don't mind if you poison your nephew's head with the idea of Saavi being someone else's child. At least he will keep himself away from our lives. »

Sai's words pierced his heart. She has always been savage but hurtful. He was the reason of her hatred towards him and his family. He snatched her child from her now she was doing the same to punish him.

« And you haven't changed a bit. Still so arrogant. », Pakhi remarked.
« Oh dear, don't even waste your energy on me. Use it to keep your lover away from my daughter. », Sai said tauntingly.
« Why are you back in the city ? », Pakhi asked.
« Unlike you, I have a job. I am a doctor. But don't worry I am here only for a couple of weeks. », Sai replied with a smirk. « And you, you stay away from Saavi. », she warned one last time her ex husband before leaving.
« Please, let me see my daughter at least till you are in Nagpur. », Virat held her hand.
« Don't touch me ever again. I am not your wife anymore. », she said jerking her hand away.
« How did you conceive ? Wasn't it medically impossible. », Sonali asked.
« Bappa surely couldn't see the cruelty I went through. Bappa had mercy on me and blessed me with a child. No more question, I am getting late. », she replied.

From upstairs, Vinayak who recognized Sai's voice kept calling her « Sai maa » but his voice didn't reach to anyone downstairs. As he was still not healed from the accident he had when he ran away, he couldn't move from his bed. Sai left the Chavan Niwas still unaware that the little boy was her own son.

Back home, Sai faced a grumpy Saavi who was upset that her mother didn't let her meet Mister Cop nor keep the gifts he brought for her.

« Why not ? », Saavi asked.
« ENOUGH SAAVI. NO MORE MISTER COP AND YOU WILL LISTEN TO ME. », Sai raised her voice.
« This is the first time you are yelling at me. Bad, this is bad. », Saavi almost burst into tears.
« Because this is the first time you are being stubborn Saavi. Bad, very bad. », Sai replied then approached her and lifted her in her arms. « Don't I let you do everything you want unless it's dangerous or something that's not good for you ? So try to understand that it's for your own good that I am stopping you. Trust me. », she said giving her a tight hug.

Saavi couldn't understand how a cop, a superhero, could harm her but she trusted her mother. One day her mother will see that Mister Cop wasn't a bad guy.

Between Sai's hatred towards him, Saavi's absence in his life and Vinayak's silence, Virat was totally broken. He went to the latter's room to spend some time with him.

« I just want to grow up and become a doctor so that I can leave this house. », Vinayak said which broke Virat's hurt.
« Why a doctor ? You could be a police officer, a soldier, a scientist... », Virat was trying to divert the conversation.
« Do you have a problem if I become a doctor ? », Vinayak asked.
« Of course not. You can be whatever you want. I just want you to be happy. », Virat replied.
« If you really want to see me happy then bring my mom back. », Vinayak said.
« Pakhi will be here in a moment. », Virat replied.
« No, not her. My real mother. Bring her to me. », Vinayak said. « You are just all talk, baba. », he added when Virat went silent.

While Saavi was in her room Sai had a long video call with Dev. She explained the entire situation. He decided to help his best friend by talking to the little girl. She always listened to him.

« Hi Monster, how are you ? », he asked.
« Not good. Momma scolded me really bad. », she complained with a sad face then added, « She banned me from meeting Mister Cop. »
« Mister Cop ? Is it a new cartoon ? », he asked.
« No silly, Mister Cop is my new friend. », she rolled her eyes.
« I thought I was your friend and here you are replacing me with someone else. », he made a sad face.
« And you are supposed to be the grown up. You don't even know that you can have more than one friend. », she facepalmed making Dev laugh.
« You know that if your momma banned Mister Cop, there must be a valid reason. », he said then continued after she nodded, « Then obey her like a good girl. You are a good girl, aren't you ? »
« I miss you my teddybear. Will you come to see us ? », she asked.
« Only if you behave like a good girl. », he replied.
« Promise. », she replied.
« But don't be too good. Trouble your momma a little by making silly experiences. », he winked at her.
« You are spoiling my daughter. », both Sai and Saavi said at the same time.

Saavi sensed that her mother was standing on the other side of the door that's why decided to imitate her. Sai and Dev laughed.

« Ok girls, kisses and hugs to both of you. I have to go. Miss me that muuuuuuuuuuch, ok ? », he said opening his arms wide.
« Bye! », Sai replied.
« Love you ! », Saavi sent him a flying kiss.
