Virat didn't deny being committed to Sai, he stayed silent. There is a difference. This is classic Virat behavior yaar. He knows he is committed to Sai, and he always will be. Even in yesterday's episode, he said that he can never stop loving Sai, but he is burying those feelings deep within himself...and already, he started melting today during the fever scene- he was pretty much back to his old self by the end. But, I think his silence was an indication of his pain. At this point, the wound of the anniversary fight is still fresh in his heart. It was quite literally just yesterday. Whenever Samrat was bringing up Sai, Virat was basically telling him that he did not want to talk about her... because, that was just a reminder to him of the fact that the marriage is just a deal to her and that she cannot understand his love for her. I don't think he was hiding his commitment to Sai from Samrat or that he is unsure in his commitment... and anyways, regardless of what he says or doesn't say, Samrat already knows that Virat is in love with Sai. His silence was just another way for him to try to appear indifferent towards Sai. It does not matter that Sai was not present... at this point, he is trying desperately to keep his feelings for her buried, even though he is failing miserably... I mean just look at his expression... he looks like he is about to burst into tears... 🤣 Once again, he cannot look outside of his own hurt... he is not thinking that just one sentence or one word of "yes" could mend things with his jeeva too...
