Wasn’t she the same girl? What changed now?

What happened to Sai? Wasn’t she the same girl who wanted to know from Virat if Pakhi would be okay if she accompanies them to Ladakh or not? Wasn’t she the same girl who tried to know if he wanted to take her with him or not? Wasn’t she the same girl who was excited while packing her things or not? She was sharing her excitement to travel by flight for the first time over phone. What changed now?

What happened that the same girl showed no interest even when she was taken by Virat on his own all alone? What happened that the same girl didn’t show interest in the trip or any of the conversation Virat tried to initiate?

I was just reminded about how excited this girl was when he had called her to accompany him and Pakhi to Ladakh. The girl acted possessive even back then when Pakhi offered to pack his clothes. When she was excited when she was joining Virat and Pakhi, why is she not excited when she had travelled alone with Virat? What has changed now?

What happened that a chirpy girl turned into a moody girl?

I couldn’t help but share how excited Sai was back then and how disinterested Sai is trying to act now. She was the same girl Virat had to ask to stop talking and go to sleep.

She would have loved to travel with him, would have been excited to go around all the places or talk to him like how she used to, would have loved to share what her favourite music was if she didn’t have to face certain things, if not for certain turn of events in their life.

It is sad to see that a girl who loved Naagnadi outing is not even able to enjoy an outstation trip. She was happy and was recollecting her day with Virat in her room after she heard Virat tell Pakhi after they returned from Naag nadi that people who are associated with him would live with him in the house. And now, the same girl is not happy with everything that’s happening. The girl has lost confidence in herself, she doesn’t even think that she has rights to travel with her husband, is made to feel guilty due to allegations that she faces every now and then that she has come in between two people who were supposed to be together, is made to feel that she is the reason that her husband is failing to fulfil his commitment, is not keeping his promise.

I really hope that Sai gets back her confidence, feels reassured of her position in her husband’s life so much that she fights for it and not give up due to someone’s manipulation, due to some false allegations and misunderstandings. I want to see the confident and chirpy Sai again.

So beautifully described the Sai up until nagnadi 🤩🤩 and makes sense that it is after this that she started going into the shell with daily physical and mental tortures in the mad house. I still recall the reporting she does after Coming back from nagnadi , what a fun loving character she was 😍.

@bold absolutely , I want her to fight for Virat and not fall for someone's fake tears. I am sure she will try to manipulate Sai especially after the birthday night manipulation she did. I also think she will be back to her chirpiness once she figures out her heart.

A lot has happened since then .. Ladakh happened before the ousting incident .. after he threw her out ..there was a big dent .. his family calling her a nurse , gold digger and also the conversation she overhead between virat and pp has totally taken her feelings of love and Haq on virat

she herself had to say she will never exert any right in virat ..:.. that’s why the trip is a dead trip .. don’t know how this relationship can be revived

Its sad that very few people understand how Sai has changed due to her pain/anguish, taunts....she really has no one to call her own except virat. Everytime she has a misunderstanding with him, Sai loses a part of herself. I really want virat to understand how much she values n cares for him. She is not very expressive all the time or rather her brashness, straightforwardness is often misconstrued as lack of affection. But on goid days, only virat sees past her facade. He sees her heart of gold, her generosity, her simplicity, innocence, how she enjoyed simple joys, Sai has never been materialistic and used to enjoy the little things, lives in the present....but she is losing herself a little due to the stress. Yes, it'd be good for her to mellow a little, mature but not at the cost of losing her confidence n vibrant self.

Yeah, it was a treat to watch her when she was her bubbly self. A girl who was so confident and bold, who has her own ajeeb ways to handle situations. The reporting incident where she talks about how everything they turn into a pahaad, how she calls out that they question their son so much, how they have made the house a jail.

She has been facing a lot after that and it is not that easy to handle such things in a new environment where she moved in after she lost her only person in her life, after she got married to a person whom she couldn’t even call her husband. The tortures that she faced especially the mental ones has turned her into this moody girl who doesn’t even know what to do, how to react to situations where she won’t be harmed or called out.

It was a culmination of a lot of factors. Even during Aniket fight, Sai laments that she has changed a lot - she is not the cheerful girl she used to be who used to sing, dance, laugh. This was all courtesy - the harassment she faced at CN.

The Ladakh fiasco was a huge dent. It shook her. It gave her a message that she doesn't have any right on Virat - a message given by the elders themselves. Whatever she tolerated was because of Virat - when Virat himself seems not hers, it pushes her deeper into anguish. After that was hand-holding where she got to see the ugly side of Virat (as well as the sadistic nature of her in-laws who enjoyed her pain), then ousting in which her self-respect was crushed, the fight she had to put up just to see her own husband at the hospital, insults hurled at her including opportunist, gold-digger, nurse etc. Then Harinee birthday. The Virakhi pool side conversation was a bolt from reality....it was the crucial point from which SaiRat relationship never recovered. It convinced Sai that Virat could never be hers. As @asmi pointed out, since then, Sai has been acting very polite with Pakhi. Her guilt trip started where she started feeling like the third wheel - the thorn that came between soulmates Virakhi. She put her heart into complete freeze mode.

The fact that Virat can never be hers pushes her over the edge - she loses a part of her existence (as Neerja so beautifully put it).

Exactly and it is not an easy thing to face these. It is like a slow poison. She wanted to leave during the chilly grinding incident but later got so attached to Virat. She then got into a confusion between choosing her exit from the house that can make her get rid of all the torture or stay back and endure the pain for the person whom she was unknowingly getting attached to. At the same time didn’t know how to exert her rights or ask for her position which she wanted as a wife and hence chose her own way of ranting deal and I will leave the house so that she doesn’t develop any expectations from him even by mistake.

The ousting broke her, she lost her path, lost her position and when she was about to gain it, lost it again after what she encountered near the pool.

@bold that is why she is acting so uncertain, unpredictable.

People talk about toxicity, negativity and how it can consume a person. Here we can see that happening with Sai who has become a lost child, who is not able to understand what to do, not able to express her emotions, have no one to talk to. She used to happily share about her Dad with Virat but she had started to maintain distance emotionally from him too after her encounters with Pakhi and family and has become so alone now. Ashwini talks to her more like Virat’s mom. People react to negativity in different ways, she wanted to embrace it by accepting his family and Pakhi so that she is spared of day to day torture and also because they are Virat’s family but at the end, she is the one who has got affected due to all of these even though her intentions to make peace with them was right. In the process of accepting Virat, accepting everything that she had to, to stay close to Virat, she had to give up on Virat unknowingly. And she doesn’t even have clarity on where she stands in his life to fight for it. If only she was aware of the fact that Virat had ended it all with Pakhi, she would have fought for her rights, she would have never given up on her rights as a wife. She is a lost person who has no clue about her path, about her future.

The relationship can be revived only if certain things are clarified, when she comes to know whatever she has to know as a wife. Sadly he has decided to distance himself rather than clarifying all her questions and she has to go through all the pain and figure it out herself at the end I think.

True, something was off with Sai and some of us always knew it. This has been the case for a long time and especially after the pool encounter and saree drama.

@bold I totally agree. Isn’t he the only one she has and looks forward to spend time with? She didn’t even want him to leave GC even when she was upset with him after her Aaba’s death.

@blue she was the same girl who spoke about flowing water, river and how one should be happy. She brought in that happiness in Virat’s life, she taught him how to move on and not be stuck in past and she has lost herself sadly in the time she was in CN.
