Maan became the world for the whole Khurana family..

Everyone took turns to take care of Maan…

Naina saw Maan as her own son, her family, though she didn’t have any blood relation with him…

On the other hand, Maan’s uncle, his own blood, Jagdish Khurana was not so happy to accept Maan as family…

Jagdish still wanted a son of his own, he can’t accept Maan as his heir…

But he kept his wish to himself, his wife had forgotten about herself and behaved as if she was the mother….

Naina celebrated her motherhood to the fullest m, she was yearning for this only…

Sheetal mostly spent time with Maan feeding him and playing with him during the day, and the night duty was Naina’s …

Naina sang lullabies and put Maan to sleep on her lap…

She was happy to stay awake whenever Maan was sick…. She knew that Maan is the one to take the Khurana khandan ahead…

Naina is elder to Sheetal by 10 years…

As Jagdish is elder than his brother by eight years, Sheetal is much younger…

Naina took the responsibility and let Sheetal enjoy her life…

For Naina, Sheetal has done her duty as a part of the Khurana family by giving them their prince, Maan Singh Khurana….

For Maan’s first birthday…

Sheetal made arrangements for the party, she ordered the cake, shopped for Maan’s suit, took care of the décor and she too got ready for the grand occasion…

Naina prepared the guest list, invited everyone personally and made sure that the guest had the most unforgettable evening, be ot the food or the hospitality…

The servants worked day and night to take the arrangements…..

Madan introduced a new sweet for the occasion in their sweet shop…

Madan gave free samples for everyone who visited their shop on Maan’s birthday…

That was also a marketing tactics used by Madan…

Jagdish thought that his money was being spent unnecessarily by the whole family….

The two lAdi es were having the best time of their life, they welcomed the guest together and celebrated their son’s arrival into their lives together…

The talk of the party was not Maan Singh Khurana, but the special bonding between the two lAdi es…

The two moms happily held their son from either side, when their little angel got ready to cut the cake…

One mom helped Maan blow the candle while the other helped him with the cutting…..

KM was filled with laughter and smiles after a long time…

Their happiness is short-lived for Madan and Sheetal meet with an accident while returning home after attending some function at Sheetal’s place…

Both of them didn’t survive and luckily they left Maan with Naina ….

It was just before Maan’s second birthday… How happy Sheetal was?

Naina then stopped all the lavish celebrations that were planned for Maan’s second birthday and she has been protecting Maan like a Godmother from then on…

As soon as Maan was old enough, he was sent to boarding for that should keep him away from the evil eyes of everyone, that’s what Naina believed…

Since the departure of his brother, Jagdish was once again obsessed with having a child somehow…

Jagdish had lost hope that Naina would fulfill his wish, he thought she was too old to have a child, he forgot that he was much older than her….

Naina was in no mood to have another child, she took the responsibility of raising her son, Maan Singh Khurana as the one and only mission of her life…

Jagdish became obsessed with the thought of having a heir of his own…

Some cunning astrologer used Jagdish’s madness to become a father to his benefit….

Then Jagdish decided to marry again in order to fulfill his wish…

A well wisher suggested that he marry someone who came from a family of wealthy offspring… what a stupid notion?

He also found someone who would be the perfect girl to bear Jagdish’s child, it’s Pummy Khanna, the eldest daughter of the Khannas, they have four girls and God knows how many poor souls didn’t survive because they were girls!!!!!!

Jagdish is skeptical about the Khanna family’s curse of having only girls( another absurdity) but the astrologer convinces him that the Khurana lineage has only sons to their credit, yes, Jagdish has no sisters, aunts or grandaunts…

Pummy is from a poor family, (who would agree to marry a middle-aged man who already has a wife living with him?)

Pummy has three younger sisters to take care of, Preetho, Rolli and Sameera….

She marries Jagdish and becomes his second wife….

Sameera Khanna is the youngest sister….

She lives with her sister Pummy at the Khurana Mansion…

After completing his high school, Maan returned home to stay with Naina who was living alone in the OH since her husband’s second marriage ….

Naina and Maan live in the OH separately….

Jagdish made a promise to Pummy that Sameera would eventually become a Khurana bahu by marrying Maan….

Pummy agreed to marry Jagdish and become his second wife , on the condition that her sister would also get married into the Khurana family when Sameera grows up and would become Maan’s wife…..

Pummy also didin’t have any child, for Jagdish could never become a father no matter how many women he married….

Since this is a Maneet story, there is the necessity of introducing Geet…

Just a peep into our heroine’s life…

Geet will come into the story at the right time…

Coming to the story of Geet…….

Geet Handa, an orphan who grew up in an orphanage…

She has worked hard to stand on her own legs and start a normal life just like anyone else…

Geet has always been the nerdy type, for she believes that education is the only way to improve one’s living, and for her education and a career would put her up the social ladder and help her shed the orphan tag….

One must be wondering that how come an orphan like her got a family name… ‘

Geet is one of the lucky children in her orphanage for she was adopted when she was four years of age by one Darji, Gagandeep Handa from Hoshiarpur… ‘

Geet is from the “Little Angels” orphanage of Chandigarh…

Darji is a politician who is a bachelor…’

He is a senior state assembly member of the ruling party…

At that time he was a favorite CM candidate of the party, but that post has always been eluding him and even a couple of his juniors got that post…

Darji was in his late sixties and his followers were worried that his career would end as just a member of the assembly and never the head of the state….

An astrologer suggested that he should try adoption, that too a girl child which would help him overcome the defects in his horoscope and make him the CM….

So, in order to get to power, Darji adopted Geet at the age of four and has taken care of all her expenses including her education…

But he never came to meet her and neither did Geet ever tried to meet him…

Darji never became the CM, but Geet had been following him on the news for she got a few privileges because of him which her friends at the orphanage didn’t have…

Geet didn’t have to worry about her finances for it’s taken care of by Darji, he had even deposited a fixed amount on her name for her marriage and future when he died a few years ago…

Darji was worried about his adopted child on the death bed when his so-called relatives who were with him for the money were upset because of the adoption, the property rightfully belonged to the adopted heir…

Darji came to know their intentions of getting rid of the trouble (Geet) at any cost…

Darji was confined to his bed and lost all his power…

He then decided to write a will so that there won’t be any problem for anyone later…..

While writing his will, Darji transferred all his property to his greedy relatives and he deposited a ransom in Geet’s name in addition to the monthly amount that she has been getting…..

Geet could enjoy it along with her family and children only… that’s his only condition, for Darji understood the pain of living alone after he retired and became inactive….

The people who were pretending to be his family, his cousin and his family, and everyone suddenly started looking at him as a burden…

Darji then realized the true value of a family of your own, your own spouse and your own child, your blood, your parchaayi, your loved ones…. He didn’t want Geet to suffer that pain and so he had made that rule….

Darji regretted not owning his adopted daughter in public and his mistake of not making her his family….

Though Geet was legally adopted, she had to stay at the orphanage itself like the other children…

The details of her adopted father was kept as a secret for a long time, but after she grew up she herself understood that Darji was her adopted father from the financial transactions…

Geet is still grateful to him for his help which did give her a lot of advantage at the orphanage and wherever she went….

She was treated with a lot of respect because of her surname, everyone was scared to even think anything wrong about her…. Her adopted father was a very powerful man in politics and no one dared to mess with his daughter though she is just a name sake adopted child….

Geet is very serious about her career and she has successfully finished her post graduation…

A new threat emerged for Geet and so she had to go to a new place to escape from that….

Geet did her graduation at the Guwahati IIT, yes, she is an IITian….

Wow Maan's growing into a toddler was great fun

for both his mothers

both Sheetal and Naina took great care of him and loved him very much

while Jagdish started getting insecure not having any child

he then married a poor girl Pammy and brought her sister Sameera too

so she could be groomed to marry Maan

while on the other hand Geet have been adopted by Darji but he kept her in the
