[why I am thinking like this ?he thought]

they were dancing on a soulful ..romantic tune..which was playing there ..tunes keep changing and their moves too..

while doing the ball dance ..they were coming close and than

they were inches apart ..they could feel each other breath..

suddenly he parted as if trying to make distance and Geet found it too strange?

why Maan behaves strangely sometimes ?

"What happened Maan? tumhe kya ho jaata hai ? you ok?"

"Ya I am fine ..fine..sorry Geet .."

"Its ok ..don't be.."

Geet rested her head on his shoulder and he embraced her in his arms and caressed her back ..

Maan thought..

"Kya bataoon kya ho jaata hai mujhe ..I wished that would not happened.."

and they started dancing again ..with the tune and with the flow of music..

and even after dance ended they were having an eyelock ..and so one of their common friend Akash came and interrupted them.

kaha khoye ho love birds!! engagement Dev aur Sameera ki hai and you are getting attention ..kya baat hai !!"

he winked at them ..

Both felt embarrassed and parted

"Woh nothing like that Akash.."and started ruffling his hair

Geet too said shyly "Akash you don't leave any chance na..we were just.."

"Oho Geet madam ..btw you are looking so gorgeous today.."

"Thanks Akash ..chalo chalte hai na Dev aur Sameera k paas.."

she was all shy and wanted to escape from there ..they were lost in each other so much that they couldn't felt the music is stopped.

and Maan too wanted to change the topic now ..

"Yes let's go to them.."

Haan chori pakdi gayi toh niklo right !! he laughed ..waise when you are going to announce your engagement ? roka toh ho gaya ..

now seal your marriage deal too "

Akash said and they were looking at each other ..they went to Dev and Sameera and congratulate them ..they too said the same ..to do engagement as soon as possible now..

"Yaar you are going to do it na ..mujhe kyu fasa raha hai?"Maan said smiling

"No way Maan..in baato main der nahi karte..what if Geet's mind change ..?he said in fun but Maan face became pale listening to this

[He thought -that's why he is delaying marriage ..Geet mind change ?? no he don't want that but he knows his guilt too ]

"What happened Maan ? abhi shaadi hui nahi hai bro..abhi se sad face ?"

"Are nahi ..he is sad coz marriage is not going to happen soon..look at them ..they want marriage to happen soon..kyu Geet?" their other common friend Nisha said .

Geet blushed but Maan just smiled ..but than tried to be normal and said "Whatever you think dosto..marriage honi hogi toh jaldi ho jaayegi ..aur Dev you be careful from our Sameera .you know na her temper .." he said looking at Sameera ..

"Oye ..baat teri ho rahi hai ..ya I will have to be very careful from Sameera ..who knows .."before he could complete ..Sameera looked at him giving him deadly glare ..and they all laughed..

there group always been like this ..chirpy..pranky..funny ..lovely and so adorable

after sometime ..when the ceremony completed ,

Maan and Geet left from there giving their best wishes and get into the car..

Maan and Geet coming back from the ceremony ..Maan was driving and Geet put her head on his shoulder

"Maan even papa was saying to announce our engagement now soon ..after talking to you..but I don't get it why you want to delay it ? I mean you and papa said ..we were good friends and now when papa has chosen you for me ..I am so happy that I am going to marry a familiar person ..and the one whom I know very well..yes its an irony that though I know you very well ..my heart also says so..but I myself don't remember .. i couldn't recall anything ..i have glimpses but not fully remember Maan..

I myself feel helpless sometimes .."

Maan stopped the car in side and cupped her face and said "So why you giving yourself stress ? pls take care ..doc said na ..even a lil stress can harm you ..pls stop thinking about it..we are here to tell you ..you just don't stress your mind..yes its too difficult I understand but still I want you to take it easily..we had almost lost you ..but thanks God ..you are here with us ..so pls now no more such talks ok.."

"Oh Maan ..thanks for all that you do ..i lost my memory and I don't know what happened that night ..but I know that God has some good plans for me that's why he send you in my life..in all these days you were my strongest support and I am so obliged for what you have done for me .. i can't thank you enough ..i.."

"Sshhh.." he put finger on her lips and than said .."No need to say this ..you are my friend first and now fianc..but this thanks and all ..don't let them come in between ..haan.."

"I love you so much .."she hugged him and tears rolled down from her eyes..

"i didn't know the past fully now but papa have told me that you were so caring before too but after accident ..you are more protective and caring..that's why papa thought ..you are the one made for me and they fix the alliance..also they said that they wanted to fix our marriage even before this accident but they thought to wait a lil more and ask us about our feelings for each other ..but didn't get a chance..and all this happened .."

"I can't see tears in your eyes Geet .. I can say that ..I realized my feelings for you and even if you don't know about your feelings ..i can assure you that I will try my best to keep you happy..you became my life now Geet ..you don't know ..and as you said ..your heart has accepted me ..than I am really happy and feel blessed to have you In my life ..i don't want to lose you at any cost...me too love you so much.

and yes papa told me too about this and I am so happy that they thought about our marriage ..we were family friends and buddies but now going to become life partners..i am so lucky that even before I could say anything ..papa talked to me about this .."

he hugged her more tightly ..

"Than why are you delaying engagement ..i am not in hurry but if we have to do it ..we should do it at right time..but you avoid this ques always na ?"

He lose his grip over her and said "Its not like that ..ok we will do it soon ..i just wanted your memory to come back ..but ya doc said ..no idea when and how it will came back ..it can come in one day or in months ..but surely you must not take stress ..and if this is the way ..you will be more happy ..i won't wait more ..ok happy now.."

"Actually papa also want it to happen now..he thinks if we get married soon than my condition will improve more and also they don't want more delay in these matters ..thanks Maan ..you are a darling."

She cupped his face this time and smiled ..hugging him once again and leaving Maan in dilemma again.

"Geet I wish I could know your feelings before that accident ..now I am living with a guilt and I can't get over it ..sometimes I think to tell you but sometimes my heart says that it can harm you and your health as well ..don't know how you will take it? But I can't deny either that I love you so much and now I can't step back ..so ok I will do this engagement soon and hope I will able to find out way to my prob.too ..Oh! Geet ..why this happened? You are going to be mine ..i am going to get my love still I am not finding peace ..i again and again remember that ..
