Awesome prologue and a very bitter truth of our society. If we believe in God and whatever happens is only almighty desire than why we believe in these superstitions. One thing is confirmed that no one except God can change anyone's destiny. What is in our destiny can never be changed by any priest or astrologer.

I am remembering one of my childhood incidence when a girl who belongs to a royal family was left in the convent where I was studing only because some priest said that she was unfortunate for her father.

Good theme ..

My POV...

In this world where people move around with smart phones/ high technology still the thinking is of BC ages. Even people educated with PHD still thinks about lucky / unlucky/ bad omen / disbelief ...

These are due to the upbring of each culture / religion .

I would say if you do good for others it will come back to you as a blessing from heaven .
