Geet you are screwed! I realized that everything is over now! Wish I could disappear at once. Maan sir kept staring at me with his fierce eyes. I looked down. He was still holding me with his protective arm.'What the hell? What is that? Is it a baby bump?' I heard people whispering each other with a huge shocked. I slowly looked at Pinky. She face palmed.
I slowly freed myself from Maan sir. I know what's gonna happen in the very next second. I have exposed myself in front of everybody as a liar. I decided to tell the truth.
'Sir I..' I started speaking.
Maan sir held my hand tightly & took me out of my cabin forcefully.
'Ah sir..' He didn't utter a word. Everybody was staring at us shocked.
Maan sir took me in to his cabin & slammed the door. I was trembling with fear. My heart was pounding. How am I gonna face everything? Maan sir would dump me out of the office!
Maan sir stood in front of me. He kept staring at me. His eyes were shining with anger. I gained courage to explain him.
'Sir... I.. I am sorry! I lied to all of you.' I started speaking.
'Shut up!' Maan sir roared. He has lost his temper.
'Do you think that you could fool me huh?' He started speaking in an aggressive tone.
'Sir?' I looked at him with a state of shock. What does he mean?
'I know that you had lied me Geet!' Maan sir smirked.
What? how did he get to know?
'Surprised'? He gave a sarcastic smile.
'Geet! He almost shook me crushing my shoulders. 'Why did you do such a thing huh?' He released his hands & kept coming towards me, I started moving backwards.
'I had a doubt from the first day itself. Then I exposed your excuse in front of my staff if in case you stop me. But you didn't! You kept continuing your drama. I ordered them to take care of you. You took that advantage of getting pampered but didn't tell anything! But I had clearly studied your actions. You always seemed to be tensed. I could tell what you were up to from a single movement of yours!'
I kept numb. I couldn't believe what's happening around me! Maan sir had knew all! But why the hell were he silent till today? Why didn't he confront?
He kept moving forward. 'That day when I took you shopping, didn't you feel that it was a plan of me? I had been following you & Pinky! I was confused when you stopped at a maternity shop. I didn't come inside the shop at once. I was waiting in the car park. You were late, then again I had a doubt if you are really pregnant. You bumped to me while I was about to enter that shop in search of you.
Then I took the advantage & took you inside the shop. I used you to clear my doubts! I don't know if you had figured out my behavior is strange. It was same with your behavior too! You acted too strange Geet! Who on earth would stay silent when somebody calls you wife & pretends like he is the father of her kid? Why didn't you raise your voice for your rights huh? All you did was keeping silent! What if you were really pregnant with your fiance's child, & when I behaves like that wouldn't you save your reputation? Wouldn't you raise your voice & oppose?
I couldn't answer him. Tears kept flowing from my eyes. He knew everything! I was acting so stupid!
That day when I came to your house, your sister shouted & asked you when did you get a boyfriend? That was the final fact! I came in to a conclusion that you were faking this pregnancy! But I kept silent & observed you more. I'm sure your sister is unaware about this! You were lucky enough because she didn't see you that day, right?
I kept staring at him numb.
Whenever I questioned about your fiance, you always behaved strangely. You seemed to be tensed all the time. You really don't have a fiance, do you?
I looked down with fear. How can he be so accurate? He had been observing me like a detective!
'On what purpose did you do it huh?' Maan sir almost pinned me on the wall.
'Sir.. I uh.' I felt nervous. He was staring at my directly.
'Tell me huh?'
'Sir.. sir I'm sorry'
Geet! keep your heads up & face this! Go on! expose the truth! I ordered myself. I gained some courage to speak up.
'Sir, I didn't have any alternatives. I came up with the best answer I got in my mind.'
'Seriously? But why such a lie?' Maan sir inquired.
'Because uh.. I have heard that.. uh.. it is discriminatory to fire a pregnant woman!'
'So you think you are smart?' Maan sir smirked.
'Umm.. not really. Sir please forgive me!' 'I know I have messed up everything!'
'Geet! I was under work pressure! I regret that I treated you badly before, but why couldn't you just tell me the truth?'
'Sir.. I'm sorry. I was afraid that you would fire me! If I had lost my job I don't know what would happen to me! I have a younger sister, I have to earn for her. I'm really passing a hard phase in my life, we don't have any income except this job.'
'You could have told me before!'
'But sir..uh you were not ready to listen.'
A silence crept between us.
He touched my hand. I was trembling with fear. What is his next move?
He held my hands tight & pulled from my waist towards him.
'Uh sir..' I felt quite uncomfortable.
You might just wonder why I was eager to find the truth! An ordinary boss would dump such a liar at the very next second he gets to know. Do you know why didn't I do like that?
'Umm..' I gulped my words.
'Answer me Geet! Do you think that I would dump you out?'
'Umm.. I.. I don't know'
He pulled me more closer. There only few inches between our faces. My heart was beating fast.
'You don't have an idea about it Geet. Do you?' Maan sir was staring at my eyes. I feared to look directly at him.
'I can't dump you out of the office, because if I do, it is like dumping you out of my life!' 'You don't have an idea how important you are to me!'
I was shocked with his words. What are his intentions?
'I'm sure you would have cursed me numerous times for giving so many work on your hands. Asking you to work over time. That is because I wanted you to be around me every time!
'Do you know what the first feeling I got when you said you were pregnant?'
Seemed like he was impatient to blurt out something.
I moved my head, signaling him that I don't know.
The hopes I had on you were shattered! You never know how depressing it was!
Hopes? About me? He made me shocked further.
I felt that you were already owned by somebody else. That little feeling made me sick! I felt like a looser! No matter how much I tried, I couldn't surrender my feelings for you Geet!
'Sir?' I looked at him with a huge confusion.
'Yes Geet! I won't let you to be pregnant with anyone else's child! He cupped my face. I was sweating with fear.
'If you ever get pregnant, it should be no one else's but my child!'
What is he talking about? He was possessive about me.
Call me ruthless! Yes! I'm insecure about you! He came more closer. I almost closed my eyes. I was afraid to face him.
'You are mine Geet! Only mine!' He caressed my face. I felt like an electric shock passing through my spine. We were so close that we could almost hear each other's heart beats.
'I love you Geet!' Damn it I love you!' In a swift, his lips touched mine. I couldn't believe what was happening right now.
He almost smudged my lipstick. He held me more tightly. I was lost in his kiss. It boosted my feelings. I felt an adrenaline rush happening inside my body. I almost forgot he was my boss. I too started enjoying this luscious encounter. We were kissing each other passionately. I too held him tight, almost caressing his hair.
He untied my hair & started caressing it while giving me goosebumps with his passionate, long kiss. His tongue touched mine, lustfully. I felt my sensory glads were moaning with pleasure. It was my first time, I have never felt such romantic. It was wonderful.
I didn't realize that we were kissing each other madly for more than a minute. I was out of my senses. I was lost in his world. He stopped with shortness of air. We both came back to normal. I was shocked about what happened few minutes ago. How have I behaved with him? Oh god no!
I pushed him away. He seemed to be shocked too. Both of us were looking at each other shocked. What did we just do? It.. it wasn't supposed to happen! He just expressed his love towards me! How can I accept him?
God damn he is my boss! How shameful? How can I even think of that? He loves me madly! I was in a dilemma. I wasn't ready for a relationship. I was lost in my feelings. We both looked messed up. A single passionate kiss can drive you crazy! Damn this was not supposed to happen! God please help me!
'Geet,' Finally he uttered my name breaking the silence. I could not face him anymore. I just wanted to vanish at once. I escaped from his cabin while he was trying to stop me.
When I opened the door, the whole staff was gathered there. They may have noticed me clearly, with smudged lipstick & messy untied hair. I could not face them either.
'Geet?' All of them were whispering at each other with a confusion. I know they would not forgive me for fooling them.
'Geet... Geet listen!' Maan sir kept calling me. I hurried my steps & ran out of the office. I couldn't stay there anymore for another single second. Maan sir was following me. I walked out of the gate.
I kept moving forward in the street ignoring the vehicles. I just wanted to release my stress of being exposed in front of everyone & Maan sir confessing his love towards me in an unexpected time. It was too much to handle.
Suddenly I heard a loud noise of a horn. It took me a while to realize that I'd been walking in the wrong direction. A huge truck was coming towards me, it was almost few inches away from me. I didn't know what to do. I put off the hopes about my life & closed my eyes.
