WOW!! outstanding concept dear...although I would have preferred Vivaan not to be an obsessed lover...I expected him to be a silent lover of Geet , who would protect Geet from Rudra...lets see...

Part 16

Maan was driving his BMW i8 towards a 5 star hotel where he is to meet Sam. He is dating her from past 5 months, however they hardly get time to spend with each other because of their work and professional commitments. They are simply too busy to think about each other.

Then Sam was offered to be a showstopper for a famous International Designer in Italy, who later signed a contract with her for his other shows for a month which she grabbed with both her hands. It was Sam's first International ramp walk which was offering a good exposure for her. He was happy for Sam to see her climbing the ladder of success in her career she was always so passionate about. However, their contacts with each other lessened over the month and they hardly got time to catch up with each other's lives and that is why he was so shocked to suddenly see her messaging him "Love You Always"

When did "love" come when there wasn't exactly any kind of bond developed between them in the first place? They were just attracted to each other, that's it. They din't got the right time to explore their feelings for each other. Or in other words, they never tried to squeeze out that time for each other despite dating for 5 months now.

He was busy with his work and so was Sam with her parties and making contacts for her modelling career. They have hardly gone for couples of dates here and there in 4 months of their dating period, keeping the last month aside since Sam was on trip. Nothing more, nothing less.

But now she was back from Italy and messaged him asking to meet her. However, it's already been more than 2 weeks now but he was so busy with his office, meetings, projects, and site seeing that he din't had a second to think about Sam, let alone go on a date with her. "Liar. Office din't kept you busy. Geet did. Her gloomy face and her ignorance did. Your own restlessness over her strange behavior did" A voice at the back of his mind said which he shrugged off conveniently.

He isn't sure about Sam, but certainly he din't happen to miss her at all over this one month, or for that matter he never actually missed her presence ever in his life. "Why? Why din't he miss her? Why isn't he feeling any kind of excitement on meeting Sam after a whole month? Or about this date?" He asked himself. If he was true to himself then, rather than feeling excitement he was having a certain kind of fear. Fear over Sam's message. What if, she is really in love with him? What if, she asks him for some commitment? Was he ready for it? Hell No. He jerked forward with the forced he applied on the brakes. Pulling himself out from the chain of his thoughts, he looked around to see him at the front of the five star hotel.

Taking a calming breathe, he got down from his car, giving the keys to the valet moved towards the hotel preparing himself for whatever was to come his way tonight.

He walked towards the reception, where the manager smiled at him politely.

"Good Evening, Mr.Khurana.", the Manager extended his hand for a handshake.

"Good Evening, Mr.Sharma. I have booked for a table here. Hope everything is ready like I had ordered." Maan wished the Manager back, shaking his hand.

"Of course, Mr.Khurana. Everything is ready. This way please" Manager replied in minimum words perfectly knowing the man in front on him talks only business. Smiling politely at Maan again, the Manager lead him towards the lift to go on 5th floor where the whole floor was specially designed for only couples.

Two big halls, each having 20 tables with a romantic atmosphere having soft music being played in the background in the hall was at the right hand side of the lift, and 10 specially designed private cabinets at the left side for those couples who prefer some alone time with the ordered food already been placed inside. Not even a waiter was allowed there unless a couple asks for it.

The manager lead Maan to one of the two big halls. Maan had always dine in open with whoever he went for chosing such a private cabin is meant for someone very special. For the only one, for the love who will win his heart over. And that someone special was yet to enter in his life. "Or probably has already made an entry. Only if he listens to his heart for once"

Sameer Handa saw Maan entering the hotel alone. Excusing himself from his clients he was done meeting with, he went towards Maan to greet him. However, he saw Maan entering the lift and going to 5th floor, the couples floor' and smiled to himself. Hmm, so his daughter has come for a date. He entered in the next lift to go to 5th floor and see his daughter's smiling face. Instead, when he followed Maan to one of the hall, the sight in front of him left him furious. There, his daughter's boyfriend was hugging a girl with maybe a smile on his face, if he can call that one a smile. He frowned when he saw Maan pulling a chair for the girl after parting and the girl smiling widely kissed him on his cheeks. That was it.

How dare he? How dare Maan Singh Khurana cheat on his daughter? Geet Handa. He was raging mad. Suddenly he felt a de javu, the flashes of his own wife being found by him in an exactly similar situation came in front of his eyes making his eyes dark and body shiver with fury.

What had that guy promised him when he had met him in the cafe? He will take care of his Geet? So this is his way of taking care of his daughter. By cheating on her. bas***d. He will surely deal with this man later. For now, he needed to go and ask his men do a thorough research on Maan Singh Khurana. He will soon have every details of this man and if god forbid he found Maan cheating on his daughter, then even god cannot save him from the monster that Sameer Handa was. That's a promise Khurana.

He din't wait to see anything further after already having seen what was needed. Turning on his heels he straightly went towards the lift and was out of the hotel making a call already.

"I want every second details of Maan Singh Khurana's life"

"I dont care if he is some bigshot or you need extra time to find out about his personal details. All I want is, the result in next 48 hours in front of me or else consider yourself dead. You heard me?" He barked in to the phone threateningly scaring the other person on the phone to death.

"Good. You will be paid ten times more if this job is done within the given time. Remember 48 hours." Saying he cut the call and drove away planning his next move already.

"Very soon I will have all the history about you Maan Khurana. Just 48 hours. Your days are numbered. I had spared my wife because I had loved her enough to not kill her and let go. But you have no idea how much I love my daughter. And if I found you cheating on her or breaking her heart, you will not be able to see the next morning of your life after 48 hours." He spoke gravely to himself. His hold around the steering turned tight making his knuckles white.

Maan and Sam were having a casual conversation. Precisely, it was Sam who was busy sharing about her experience in Italy and how much she enjoyed the last month there, cutting him off whenever he tried to speak. He intended to tell her about the fake BF drama he is playing with Geet because he don't want Sam to point her fingers at him. He wasn't a person to let anyone raise their fingers at his character and loyalty. So it was better to come clean with Sam.

But Sam was so busy in her own la la land telling him about different places she visited and meeting new peoples, which mostly happened to be hollywood stars, listening to which he was left to only nod seemingly bored. If Sam noticed, she din't bothered and choose to ignore. She looked overexcited while sharing her experience than meeting him after a whole month. Huh. Talk about "Love You Always" he thought rolling his eyes inwardly.

What on earth would he do by knowing about how beautiful she looked in those expensive dresses, or who designed her costumes, and which hollywood celebrity complimented her? He again tried to open his mouth to say something suppressing a yawn only to be cut off yet again. He groaned. Sam was never such a pain in neck before but today she was being difficult, irritating him to no extent. The God above knew, he has never let any person talk non sense in front of him for more than a minute and here Sam has spoken non stop for more than 5 minutes already. He certainly can't be yelling at her either when they are dinning in a 5 star hotel, he thought annoyingly.

Thankfully, the waiter arrived with their food just then which he had ordered while reserving a table and after serving it to them, left. It also served the much needed break to Sam's stupid blabbering and a rest to his ears which he was sure would have started bleeding had he listened to one extra word from her.

"Sam, I need to talk something very important to you. You know I have always been loyal in my relationships. And there is something you need to know." He dug into his food without waiting for her to even start. He looked at her to see that she is listening and after having her full attention, he continued what he intended to while fixing this dinner date.

"I'm pretending to be one of my employee's fake BF in front of her father to save her from getting married somewhere else. I cannot divulge much because I have promised her to keep her secrets with myself, however I thought you deserved to know about my little act." He spoke seriously making Sam to choke on her red wine. She started coughing making Maan worried. Getting up from his chair, he went towards her and rubbed her back to sooth her somehow. When he saw her relaxing, he settled back in his chair and passed her a glass of water. Taking few sips she looked at him painfully under her lashes.

Yes, she knew very well that he hasn't exacty fallen in love with her or something. She also knew that she wasn't the girl he was looking for himself. What they shared was nothing like any normal couples do despite being attracted to each other. But still it somewhere pinched to know that the time has probably come to say her final goodbye to the amazing man sitting in front of her, who had given her the opportunity to be the face of his fashion house handled by his sister Annie, which further made her notice Internationally just in a 2 months time. A major part of her success was only and only because of the man sitting in front of her. She has used him for her own benefits in the past but she did like him.

It also wasn't like she was in love with him. She would be a fool to think that she can trap The MSK. No one can oversmart him, she got to know just in the 3rd meeting of theirs. That is why she had waited for 5 long months and then expressed her "love" for him through a text message which she thought will at least make it look believable to him. But boy, she was so wrong, she got to know it yer again. No one can trap MSK unless he wants it to. He isn't exactly a man to fall for someone's outer beauty, charm and lose himself over a mere attraction. He was a person who could only be impressed by their strong personality, true character and honesty. So it was better to listen to whatever he says and accept her defeat silently if at the least she wants to be in his friend's list if not for his girlfriend, even if thier relationship was never official to anyone. Still the thought of letting him go was hard and quite unacceptable to her. But she also knew she can't play with him anymore simply because she can't lose such a wonderful friend over a petty greed to be more successful than she already was. Gulping the lump formed in her throat, she replied in her normal tone which din't tell him anything about her feelings.

"Can I ask you one question Maan?" Maan looked her meaningfully before nodding his head and getting back to eating his food. He din't seemed bothered at all which just says how serious he is about her. "Or was he ever serious?" She couldn't help but ask that to herself.

"Will you help all your employees if they come up with their personal issues to you?" She asked to see him stop having his food and looking at her quitely for a second. She continued without letting him speak thinking he won't be answering her question.

"I don't even need to see the girl to know the effects she already has on you Maan. From the time you have met me today, you looked more than distant, bored and in a hurry that you couldn't even wait for the waiter to leave our table after serving us and started eating." Maan was quite surprised hearing Sam ask such a sensible question after the crap she has spewed today which made him look at her momentarily and later acceting that she also happened to noticed him being bore when he had thought she was busy in her own Italy Land.

"Well, Sam, to tell you the truth, yes I admire her personality and outspoken nature a lot but that has nothing to do with me agreeing to be her fake BF. I agreed because I felt her life was in danger and I should help her. I couldn't see her upset and ignore me at all just because I refused to helped her out. It made me worried and restless for some unknown reason." He spoke trying to make Sam understand without actually realizing that he has shared about his feeling more than needed making Sam perfectly understand what she should have.

"Did you even realized that you just said you can't see that girl upset and ignore you. You, The MSK?" She asked widening her eyes showing the surprise visible on her face at the things he blurted out today.

"Surely the girl has to be very special to have the guts to ignore you. And you, instead of feeling angry at her, you get restless. May I ask why, Maan?" Sam looked at him amusingly trying to hide her smile. She was feeling much better now because the truth was out. At least to her. Just that Maan has to realize and acknowledge it to himself now. Things will be much more clear to him and easier too.

"Chalo, I'm done with my dinner." She said while wiping her lips with the tissue. Maan was all quite trying to process the words he himself has uttered to Sam just few moments back. What the hell was he thinking before blurting out those words to Sam?

"Also, I needed to inform you that the International designer for whom I walked on ramps over the month at various events has now offered me a contract of 3 years. So I will be shifting there in a week time as half of my things has been shipped to Italy in the last two weeks already." Sam chriped happily sharing her future plans with him. Wanting to tell him it was all because of him that she is going to be the face for an International Fashion House now. Maan smiled at her faintly. He don't want to blurt out anything more than he already has so chosw to keep quite and just listen.

"I had initially planned on extending my stay here to spend few days with you before going to Italy. But that is not needed now as I'm sure once you get your mind cleared you will want to break off of this relationship. So saving both your and my time, lets just end it here Maan. I have had a lovely time with you." Sam whishpered softly yet firmly. He immediately looked at her face to only see the truthfulness of her words there.

"Sam.. I.." Sam cutted him again not letting him speak anything because she knew what he was going to say.

"It was really nice knowing you Maan. I don't know about you, but to me you will continue to be my friend forever. Thank you for all the help you gave me. You are the reason why I'm so successful today in the first place so all credits goes to you. And now no more talks. Lets go." This time she din't need to try hard to smile because the one that lit her face can be called as her most genuine smile, which Maan was sure he happened to see for the first time in this 5 months. The smile on her face made him to smile back at her.

Coming forward she hugged him one last time which he reciprocated and parting smiled down at her again.

Both walked out of the hotel and moved towards their respective cars. Sam once again hugged him wishing him for his future and getting into her car drove away.

Maan kept looking at her retreating car and felt a relief wash over himself. When he had entered the hotel he was quite tensed about this dinner date and it indeed turned out to be an unexpected one. Never had he thought that he would be entering the hotel dreading to be ask to commit himself to Sam and walking out of it breaking up with her without much efforts from his part.

Maan felt relax and calmed. Well, never has any break up made him feel so content ever. Not that he was ever in a serious relationship with anyone. But certainly Sam was the longest one amongst the 3 relationships he has had in the past which couldn't even last for weeks because he simply couldn't tolerate those bimbos around him.

But then suddenly he frowned remembering what cause this break up. What was he talking about Ms.Geet Handa? Why the hell did he uttered those words in front of Sam when it wasn't necessary. He was irritated with his own weird behvior. He was certainly not behaving his true self since quite a time now. However, he was still not able to comprehend what exactly was wrong with him.

"Is he attracted to Ms.Geet Handa?" He finally asked himself.

geet's dad know about geet n rudra's little meeting...though geet said its nothing...

but he is also don n knew that rudra was displeased with geet's denial...so he is keeping tabs about rudra...

here geet is scared that for her maan's life is in danger...she is avoiding maan fully...

n maan is irritated with her behavior...finally with geet told about the threat to maan...n he is super angry...

someone dare to threaten "his geet"

geet is scared for maan n dadima...but maan assures her that nothing can harm him...

but looks like geet ko zyada koshis nahi karni hogi 😆

As I've said before I can't explain how happy this part made me.

I am so pleased with the outcome of this part, you've cleared a lot of things.

Maan and Sam scenes were genuine, glad Sam isn't the vamp that was expected and I love this part so much.

Sam has gotten contract and is leaving, thank goodness for that. Sam and Vivaan are now gone and on good note as well. So I'm pleased with that.

The twist of Sameer Handa digging into Maan's life is definitely a brilliant one. Partcipants can definitely do a lot with this, if they actually take some time out planning and preparing.

Maan's parents back story could be brought in an all. So many possibilities if one takes time to think on it.

Maan's thoughts on Sam and Geet were cleared here, thankfully. I'm so happy with that. So he's not exactly attracted to both women at the same time.

His character is definitely more stable and hope it'd remain like that. No more shocking twists hopefully.

As I have said you've written it so well, tied up so many loose ends and cleared a lot of confusions. And damn, I'm so happy with you typing for this as well as the combined FF.

Can't wait to see what Ash has planned. 😆

she did break up for maan coz she understood maan sfeeling fir geet but buddu maan is still confuse..

Now that was a Superb just Brilliant Update

Maan was really tensed about the date but that worked out just perfect .they both ended the relation on a good note and that's cool .
Sameer Handa had to see Maan with a another woman and now he has Rudra and Sameer behind him while his mind is still not cleared about Miss Handa .
