Few days have passed since the day Rudra Singhania had threatened Geet. Sameer Handa did get to know about the little meeting through bodyguards, however, he didn't know of the words exchanged between Geet and Rudra. Geet too had kept mum and had said to her dad it was just a coincidental meeting with normal greeting. Sameer though wasn't satisfied with that and hence decided to dig out the matter by himself, but he wanted it to be subtle. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he knew it wasn't just normal meeting, Rudra isn't a man to digest rejection easily and his displeasure with Geet's no to marriage wasn't hidden to Sameer. So, he had been keeping tabs on his moves since then, well that was Sameer Handa, who wouldn't trust his long time friend even since he knew there are no friends in underworld. He wasn't the most dangerous Don just for namesake, he knew to play the game well.

On the other hand, Geet had been very tensed ever since she had met Rudra. She couldn't believe she had put Maan in danger to escape the marriage, worst she had taken Dadi's help too who loves and trust her so very much. She had been very disturbed and that was reflecting in her work as well. She was fumbling, making silly mistakes, snapping on trivial matters which was so unlike her. Maan wasn't oblivious to Geet's behaviour in recent days. He had been observing her closely and was sure something was fishy! Geet had never avoided him but here she was avoiding him as if he doesn't exists. Whenever he would call her she would either send Sasha or Nikhil or even Pinky. Maan was getting frustrated with this behaviour of hers. He wasn't able to understand what was bothering her and why was he being bothered with her unusual acts lately! He knew they are just putting an act of being in a relationship in front of her dad and that he has no right to interfere in her life but her gloomy and tensed face was making him restless. So finally giving up into his restlessness he decided to confront her.

Maan was stunned after Geet narrated the whole Rudra fiasco to him. His blood boiled hearing how that bas***d has crossed his limits and had dared to threaten Geet. His jaw clenched, his hands balled into a fist and eyes spitting fire , ready to smash the man named Rudra who dared to threaten his Geet! Oops, in his anger he conveniently overlooked the incoherent acceptance. Geet shuddered witnessing the rage in his eyes. She knew he would be damn angry, that's why she didn't want to tell him at the first place. But Maan compelled her to spill the beans and here are the repucursions. Maan looked at Geet incredulously as he spoke, " Geet, how could you be hiding this from me? And you are distancing yourself from me because of this stupid threat?" Geet frowned hearing him & said,"Maan it isn't any stupid threat. He is Rudra Singhania-The Don, and he does what he says. I have known him all my life and trust me he isn't a man whose words can be ignored. Maan you have nothing to do with this. I dragged you into this without comprehending the consequences. I have no right to put your life in danger. I have been thinking about it, and I think it's better if we just tell dad the truth! I don't want you or dadima getting hurt in all this." By the time Geet finished Maan was by her side. He cupped her face making her look into his eyes. He has never seen her so vulnerable before. She has always been a very strong woman not getting bothered in the toughest of times. He looked at her with determined eyes as he said,"Geet always remember that no one absolutely no one can cause any harm to me or my loved ones, be it any Don or something. I am MSK, biggest business name in country, and I very well know how to deal in such situations. I knew Rudra wouldn't sit back silently on this matter but I never thought he would come up with something like this. I had thought he would be a man enough to come to me directly instead of threatening you. You don't need to be worried about this I will take care of this matter. Have you told your dad about this? " Geet nodded negatively while Maan sighed and said," Geet you should have told him. Anyways now I want you to promise me that you won't hide anything from me. Hmm?" Geet took a deep breath and spoke," Maan why are you doing this. You don't have to get yourself into this shit. We can right away end our pretense game and then Rudra won't come for you. Also, I didn't say anything to dad because I didn't want a war at the threshold. Maan chuckled at her pouting face and said, " Geet ab pyar kiya toh nibhana padega na!" Geet looked shocked hearing him Maan winked and said jhootha he sahi tumhara boyfriend hoon and I must tell you I'm a very possessive boyfriend. Geet couldn't help but smile muttering a soft thanks to him and went out of his cabin.

Maan sat in his chair as he dialed a number to call someone. He told the other person some work to be done ASAP. He smirked as he cut the call.

As evening came Maan was watching news on his plasma screen in his cabin with a victorious smirk playing on his lips. He took his mobile and called someone. As the call was received at other end Maan spoke," Maan Singh Khurana speaking. I hope this sneak peek is enough to tell you that nobody dare to mess with Maan Singh Khurana. It was just a simple CBI raid at your dockyard but it can get worse if you don't keep your hands off Geet. Don't you dare try to threaten her again else consequences will be worst." with that Maan cut the call not bothering to hear what Rudra had to say.

Next morning Geet was out of her wits reading the newspaper which has raid news. She knew it was Maan but why do he has to put himself in danger. She went down for the breakfast all lost in her thoughts when Sameer's stern voice broke the chain of her thoughts. "Geet I have something to talk to you." Geet just nodded, " Geet, are you and Maan dating for real or is it some silly stunt you have pulled to escape wedding? " Geet frowned," why would you think so dad. I love Maan and so do he and we have been together for quite sometime now." Sameer shook his head " I have never seen you both spending time with each other. It's been over 2 weeks since I met him and I never saw you two going out or something." Geet's expressions changed from frown to anger as she said, " are you by any chance spying on us? How could you dad?" Sameer instantly said " no darling, I'm not keeping tabs on you both its that just you never said you're going out for dinner or something as every other couples go out hanging together to spend quality time with each other. I just wanted to know if everything is okay between you two!" Geet calmed hearing him & said, " dad Maan is a busy man he hardly gets spare time. And we do meet daily in office so going out isn't really a big deal. It doesn't matter how we spend our time together, what matters is we are together. Sameer nodded smiling and Geet heaved a sigh of relief thinking how to make Maan agree to go on a dinner date with her. She knew her dad well , so knowing him the seed of doubt planted in his mind would only dissolve with Maan and her spending some lone quality time together. But how to convince Maan on this was a big question. He will surely strangle her for putting him into tight spot always!
