Now this house doesn't even feel like mine... nothing has really changed same curtains... same wall colour even the bead spread is the same which I left... sitll I could feel it... somewhere deep inside... which was screaming at me reminding I'm at at my mom's place not my!
Starange but just a week back this was my home... but now how a simple terminology has changed the whole outlook!
Every action of my mom makes me feel I'm just a guest to this house, who has to leave sooner or later!
A girl just after her marriage isn't treated as a girl anymore... she suddenly grows up into a woman... on whom there are expectations. .. responsibilities and people dependent upon... every mother who very well knows that her daughter can't even clean her wardrobe. . Or is too lazy to wakeup in the morning expects her daughter to build her home with love n become a dutiful DIL of the house!
It's been 4 days since she is here... her mom haven't left side even for a moment... pampering her to no ends... her dad seems to have grown old suddenly. .. his restlessness n concern filled eyes on the first day ware very hard to forget...
That night after dinner when she walked into the backyard and confronted her father to know y did he bring her back... y didn't he even inform her before making a visit... he was so proud n there was a spark in his eyes... my dad was so very proud of me to have accepted that she was no more just their daughter but a Daughter in law of some other family... n she was right he should have informed her at least!
Though after a day she understood that bringing her to her house was a part of some post marriage rituals. ..but the fact annoyed her to no ends that y now!!
She has just started talking to him n after her almost suicide stunt the things got more bitter... she couldn't even explain her stand... or even apologise for her stupidity!!
What would he think of her... will he ever come to pick her up?? Or is he planning to leave her here n wash hands of her! If so what will she answer her mom... how was she going to face her dad!!
It was around midnight she was hiding her cell under her blanket still contemplating whether to ring him or not... her mom was sleeping next to her... she fell asleep while talking something n explaining her duties... but sleep was far from her eyes
What if he was sleeping he hardly sleeps she didn't want to disturb him... but what if he's awake...
She stole his no. From dad's cell this evening... now it wasn't that easy to ask your husband's no. From your father right!
Ok I'll will cut the call in a single ring if he is awake he'll call back.. anyhow she didn't have too much topup in her cell!
Changing the phone to silent mode taking babajis name she pressed the dial button n even before the ring completed she cut the call... taking a sigh of relief!
Good going geet now if he is awake he'll ring u back or else let's assume he's asleep...
Must be tierd hai na babaji!
Looking at the phone now n then whether it was working properly or not if it was charged or not ... clearing the inbox... If would drop a msg... changing her phone to vibration mode... she slowly feeling low gave in to her tired eyes...
Maybe after 10mins of half n hour she heard her mom shaking her in sleep to check where the sound was coming from that broke her sleep searching her cell under her pillow she looked at the screen to find his name flashing on the screen. ..
Picking his call she whispered a hello in a all hush tone making sure she wasn't disturbing her mom... she walked out of the room asked him to stay on line n not to cut the call... Making him all more confused with her strange behaviour that too middle of the night...

Opening the terrace door she took a breath of relief...

Actually ur parents wanted to spend a few days with you... we were immediately married after your exams I suppose so they didn't get even few days with u... your mom requested maa to let u stay there for a week!

This is getting more n more embarrassing babaji. .. Please spare ur poor child!
