This is ur room.. adi said smirking ... Geet looked at maan unsure about his reaction. But maan was very calm.

Okay..this is good.. To prove himself .maan will have to work for them. So he would stay in servants room in their place.

The room was very small behind the kitchen. Maan looked around the room ..while geet stood their twisting the end of her sari ...

Adi saw geet..and understood..emotions..But he had to make sure that maan wouldn't run away again..giving her same pain. Coz if the same thing happens again..she would devastated.

Geet u go..to ur room..ill c u in a bit.. Adi said sternly

Maan looked at geet ..who was already staring him.. He assured her through eyes...Geet nodded and left.

As geet left adi came before maan..

So..u have to get up daily at 5 am..and do the household chores..we had breakfast sharp at..8..then u will drive geet to her boutique..come back make lunch and do other things here..is that fine?

Maan smiled and nodded. Thank u adi..for giving me 2^nd chance.. I knw u don't trust me..But I promise u..i wont run away..

Hmm...and he left.

Adi went to geet who lost in her thoughts with a smile on her face. Adi was happy atleast to see her smiling..but he was more concerned about her future...what if this smile was just temporary..He sighed he wont let him hurt..her. Adi explained geet about the task...But obviously he was planning something else too. He took her promise forcefully that she wouldn't help him. She agreed .

Evening

It was almost 7 pm..geet was in her room with her designs ..but she wasn't concentrating..at all. Her mind was playing their confession scene again and again.. She dint knw..why this is happenng ..and whay suddenly maan came back..and his confession..How couldn't she give him a chance. The love which she had seen in his eyes weren't fake... She knew him a little..she wasn't wrong this time..hopefully.

Her thoughts went to maan..and she realized the time. Adi had strictly instructed her not..to meet maan unless necessary. He would be home by 8-15 ..and will have dinner by 8-30. She gasped

Maan and cooking..he never liked cooking..Omg!

She ran to the kitchen..only to get a surprise. Maan was working their effortlessly.

He had made aloo cury and rice. He had kneaded the flour and was making balls out of him. She gaped him as the 8^th wonder of world. Maan moved to other counter to take the roller ..and saw geet. He smiled sweetly at her ..but she was still gaping him open mouth.

Geet..he called her..Geeet he said little loudly

Geet blinked her eyes and came forward..

U knw cooking??kaise?how did dis happen? She said widening her eyes

He smiled a little and again resumed his work..

Life leaches u everything geet..

Geet nodded..yes it teaches u everything.. She said with a forloon look on her face. Maan realized the depth of her voice an pain. He looked at her..while she was staring ahead. He wished she was same as he had left her. His same geet his mishty..who was soft...cute but totally different..with him. A carefree free bird. He knew he has to have lot of patience..to get her back. He knew she was trying really hard to trust him..but it will only come naturally. He will do all..that it takes to win her. He sighed and slightly touched her shoulder geet...

She came back ..and shook her head for nothing

He moved closer and tucked the curl behind her ear..which was blocking his view. She lowered her eyes...

He smiled at her reaction..

Well I was alone..there mishty..so..I had to learn cooking U knw waha pe I did everything on my own.he said now..making roti..without looking her.

She had tears in her eyes. He was never good in handling all things alone. If she suffered maybe..things were little same for her too.

M ..sorry maan u had to..d..do all that alone She said looking him..

Maan turned to her and noticed her tears..He shook his head and cupped her face,,..wiping her tears..

Geet don't cry..please ..I have made u cry enough..dont waste there precious pearls geet..it pierce's my heart.. His eyes ahd the same pain... probably in more pain

B..but..u had to go through..all that..

Geet...removed his hands..and started him

Maan something are not under control..somethings happen beyond ur wishes..

Both of them kept quiet. Her words were subtle and clear..He knew it will take time to heal her wounds...those scars were still deep.

He made the dinner when adi came..they had dinner in silence. Next day was very hectic for maan. Adi dint leave a chance to trouble him..with challenges and his stupid pranks..while geet kept mum due to adi's promise. Adi's wife pinky came...along with her kid which bought ray of happiness in the house.

Geet and pinky shared a very special bond. Pinky was glad maan acme..initially she was also angry on him but later..she could feel his love. Pinky was glad that finally geet will get all her happiness that she deserved. Maan's love and care was seen by her. She did try to convince adi..but couldn't. A brother couldn't let go..maan's sin that easily. It was very much natural ...his challenges his pranks.. Maan was aware about his feelings he knew adi was good at heart ..n dats y he couldn't forgive him. Maan and geet did share some cute moments and...recalled their old days..when they wer frnds. Maan tried everything to make her the same old geet..his mishty. This was slowly helping her to come out of her shell. This change was noticed by pinky and adi both. They saw her laughing more often...with them and their rohan(pinky and adi's kid)..they were happy to see her changing.

Its been 10 days since maan is..doing everything. Geet would often help in him kitchen..along with pinky. The trio used to have long conversations in veranda after adi left.

It was Monday and geet was in office. Pinky informed maan that geet forgot her lunch. She asked maan to visit her and give her lunch. Maan gladly went.

As he entered her office he paused near her cabin. He held the lunch box in one hand while straightening himself...and then opened the door. The sound of her laughter welcomed him. Geet was laughing...wholeheartedly. He had seen her laughing..in past few days..but this was like how she used laugh with him.. A smile automatically came on his face..as he gazed her laughing.

Geeet...m serious..

It was then he turned to see...the person next to her..while she was just nodding. She patted his shoulder and then kept a finger on her mouth..to muffle her laughs..while the guy just pouted.

Maan narrowed his brows..looking both of them and came forward. Geet saw him..and got up smiling..

Aree...maan..when did u come..

The man also got up and gave him a small smile..only to get a glare from maan. Maan looked him angrily. The man was tall and handsome..most importantly. Very over frndly with his wife.Geet followed his gazed to..the poor guy..

Oh..maan he is my frnd cum client..Mr.Rishab Khanna..with a smile..

Rishab forwarded his hand for hand shake...maan took his hand and firmly.

Rishab felt odd but shrugged the feeling and smiled.

And ..he is...he..is..maan my..my best frnd geet said

Maan loosened his hold on his hand as those words escaped her lips..he looked her

Still..she coulnt manage to say..husband.. he gulped his saliva n gave him a small smile.

Geet who I came...to give ur lunch box.. he said avoiding eye contact with her.

Ohh..thANKS..maan..mai bhool gayi ti..and smacked her head..thank u..she gave him a sweet smile.

He nodded and decided to leave..

Well..geet lets go..out u had promised me last time...cmon rishab whined U don't have much work now..plz...dont say no

Maan stopped in his tracks..anger coursed through his veins...Hew wasn't getting good vibes from him. first geet was laughing with him..and then she dint introduce him as her husband. He did feel bad..but then was happy that ..she was comfortable with him..and that their friendship bond was intact. He wanted the same..he wanted to be her best frnd 1^st and then..her husband n love.

Hmm..okhay rishab..i guess I can take u around the city... her words broke his reverie...he turned to them.

Both were smiling at each other. Maan felt like an outsider. He certainly dint feel...good about their special bond.
geet...maan called her..trying to gain her attention

Who..are u going somewhere..?? he asked her

Yes..maan..actually..u can join us..too..

Yes...I can..he immediately smiled and stood next to her

Maan clenched his fist...and gave him a fake smile. He once again looked at geet with hope..but she..assured him to go back.Geet came to drop him...near the door and made him leave.maan left feeling displeased.
