Part #3 (Last part)

Be it love , anger or anguish nature has its own ways of expressing it so is my Maan it's been two weeks he is in front of me in our mansion living n roaming in front of my eyes but not even once acknowledged my presence... it seems like he doesn't even know me...

But truth to be told if that was the case then he wouldn't be here ...that to after the announcement in the paper... leaving my aching heart if I see the things clearly he seems to know this Rahul guy way too much! Like they were pulling each other's legs at times ... today I just heard them talk about some Roshni! She is this Rahul's sister or something...

Wow Rahul u r getting married its great news! Hmmm so where's my bhabi n who is this handsome beside u wont u introduce us...

Both the guys looked at each other n started laughing ...

Almost whole day went like that does every girl face something like me he laughs smiles n even flirts but not with me it was some other girl...next day we were supposed to go n buy rings for my engagement n Roshni n Maan tailed us ... in this whole time I have so much tried to confess it to Rahul ... I really didn't want to break his heart he is a good person after all ...but always something or other came up!

Today was the limit here we were supposed to buy rings for my engagement n both the boys were busy in Roshni they wanted to buy something unique for her so they were rejecting every single design! N Roshni was all smiles...

Seeing him pampering someone other than me something broke in me I just realized it was my patience level as I saw him walking toward our balcony humming some tune... I didn't even know when I pulled him to my room n when my hand landed on his cheek ... the numbness n the string of pain that started in my wrist I realized what I did!

I slapped him!

Babaji! What did you make me do I thought with tears flowing through my eyes...

He just looked at me with moist eyes with a small smile n walked away. ..

It's ur turn Misthi ! I came for you all the way coz I couldn't find in me to let you go but now I leave it to you if u will hold onto me or let me go...

I thought lost in thoughts it was just after a week after Anwesha's wedding I came to know about u n the status difference between us ... n I came to know how much I mean to u n ur insecurities too...

I thought determined to see what she will do now ...

Next day she took a complete u turn when n she purposely bumped in to me blinking innocently n bit her lips apologizing

her big round eyes full of mischief n innocence... that didn't end there when we were chatting she came with a tea of snacks n brushed her fingers with mine ... n settled beside me too close for my comfort common now I can already see Rahul, Roshni passing those teasing smiles to each other

Geets Babaji what are u doing with me n what happened to my shy shy Misthi..

oh yes Rahul is my childhood friend n Roshni is his sister ... thank god it was him or else I don't know what would I have done if it was someone else in his place... when I explained him the situation he was more than happy to help me later I came to know he had someone waiting for him back home n he was forced into all this by his parents...

Lost in thoughts I realized I was alone with Misthi n she was coolly having her tea as if nothing happened at all ...

I was about walk away when she called me so softly I felt it was only for me to hear... Babaji your Geet is she casting some spell on me?

She slowly came near me n my hands automatically snaked hr waist... She started playing with my buttons n whispered...

I wanted to tell u something... she breathed out... all blushing n trying to hide her blushing cheeks from me

wrong timing when I heard Rahul call me from behind coming I said composing myself n controlling my overflowing urge to hug her tight n Wisk her away from here...

I gave her a glare to show her that I'm still angry on her n she pouted cutely n started her complain session with her Babaji

She walked away cribbing I shook my head at her attempts when she came back running to me n kissed my cheek with all her love n rushed away giggling to herself!

Mr. & Mrs. Handa returned from their trip by evening n were pleased to find everything set for the engagement party held next day by now I know what place Geet had in their lives n this huge mansion I've seen few of the servant ordering her...

So what I heard from Anu was true! Geet was adopted or say was forced on them by their lawyers for the property...

Now standing in the airport with her in my arms I think I won the most precious gift of the world for myself!

Thanks to Rahul for the drama he put up in front of the media with his girl that suddenly the tables turned n got engaged with his love on the same venue...

well all that ends well Mr.& Mrs. Handa were no more interested in Geet so they gladly agreed when I asked for Geets hand n needed nothing else apart from her...

She was shyly playing with my fingers blushing red.. sitting beside me as we had a flight to catch to head back home..
