Rain + M.S. Subbalakshmi + A South Indian + Vegetable market + Jasmine = I'm sold.

How beautiful was this?The Tyaagaraja Keertanas and the Annamayya Keertanas always bring a whole lot of beautiful memories along with them. How much special they are for me, is not possible to put in words. Especially these lines "Ela Nee Dayaraadu Paraaku Jese Vela Samayamu Gaadu" simply capture your heart. I'm not a fan of translations but the translation you put here for these lines is simply superb and actually does justice to the original wordings.

I can't get enough of the keertan and the vegetable market. I personally think that wholesale vegetable markets are the most underrated places of joy. If I won't stop myself here, I could go on and on about them. 😆 I'm so looking forward to the Khurana-Iyer interactions.

P.S. The dog's name and something about the story reminds me of the show Yeh hai Mohabbatein. 😛

P.P.S. What/Who is in your Dp? The animated one? I almost shoved my head into the screen of the laptop but failed to recognize the couple. 😆

loved it! That was brilliant.

You mixed in their past very well with the present. The atmosphere was different then what I normally read but since u provided a translation, that really helped.

Again, a great story.

It was initially written for them but since I was seeing Maan in Raman so many times I couldn't help but to write a version here.
