People who are watching GEET on Star Utsav are well aware and also unhappy of the Maan Memory Loss Track. This track had a lot of scope and would have given a new lease of life to Maaneet relation and their Love but...

Whenever I watch this track on TV or Youtube I always think there would be so much the makers could experiment thereby showing Maaneet Love overcoming all the troubled waters and emerging out more stronger!

Though I'm still struggling to finish my ongoing FF, Hamaari Prem Kahaani... but just couldn't stop myself from penning this down. My idea for this memory loss track n wish if the makers had dealt with it in a better way.

I feel this was The Milestone in Maaneet Marriage! They were so close yet so far, a phase which would help them introspect their love and relation, the testing times challenging their determination and their journey from strangers to soulmates yet again!

PS: This story starts from post Teej showdown, where Maan misbehaves with Geet, insults her and then reluctantly breaks her fast for Dadimaa's satisfaction. Though he feels guilty to have behaved so rudely with Geet, is confused about his feelings towards her, trying hard to come in terms with the reality but...

My Take - In the whole fiasco somewhere a seed of doubt is sowed in his mind about Naintara's conduct. Events from past few days and now Dadimaa's words that he trusts Naintara more than his family keeps reverberating in his ears. He finally decides to get to the root of the cause. Thats our Maan Singh Khurana!

PROLOGUE

[Maan's POV]

What am I doing? How could I behave like this with Geet that too in public? I don't remember our wedding, can't just accept her as my wife, not sure of what feeling I harbour for her but still...

Geet is a woman, my wife atleast to the world and above all she is an integral part of the Khurana family! Her relation with Dadimaa is so strong that sometimes I feel distanced!

Dev too totally supports Geet in everything, forget my family even the staff and servants of Khurana's trusts, supports and obeys her. I feel like a stranger in my own house and office. Today every person present in celebration looked at me in sheer disapproval and disappointment. Nakul just placed my dinner plate on the table without sparing a glance towards me and walked away, same goes with all the others.

Somewhere my heart too has betrayed me, a feeling of guilt, a burden of some sin making me restless!

Dadimaa is right Naintara instigated me and I like a fool just lashed out on Geet and all the recent showdowns between Geet and me were somewhere connected with Naintara. Am I wrong in believing in Naintara? Dadimaa, Geet, Dev and whole Khurana staff and servants detests her. No matter all her efforts nobody acknowledges or believes her.

I need to get to the root of this matter. If Naintara is really playing some dirty trick taking advantage of my memory loss I will make sure she pays for all her doings!

"Now I will keep a close watch on her but before all it all I need to apologize to Geet for my misbehavior!"

[Geet's POV]

Today Maan's behavior shattered me! I just can't relate to this Maan! In the past too he hated women but never did he utter such piercing words to me but now his words just stabs my heart, his indifference breaking me, his hatred pushing me away from him.

No!...I will not let this happen, he is my Maan he can never hate me!

Naintara is poisoning his mind against me and creating distance between us. Till day I ignored Naintara because I didn't want to hurt Maan but now if I remain silent Naintara will succeed in ruining our family.

I need to take this matter in my hands now!

"I will allow nobody to take advantage of My Maan!"

[Dev's POV]

I had been keeping a track of Naintara's movements specially in office and outside Khurana Mansion. Knowing her criminal mentality I was sure she will be planning something against our family and business. Little did I know that she is brain washing Bro and deepening the rift with between him and Geet. I just couldn't stop myself today and I'm happy I gave Naintara a fitted reply.

This slap was much needed and now I have to gather some proofs against her to throw her out of this house and our lives forever!

"I will protect my family and specially Bro and Geet from her lowly plans!"

[Naintara's POV]

Dev by slapping me today you have called in for your and your families doom! I hadn't planned anything so soon but now you all will have to pay for this slap. Maan also seems to doubt me after Dadimaa's statement that I am instigating him against his family, so now I have to act fast and implement my plan before its too late!

And my sole and perfect target is ofcourse Geet!

"Geet kal hum aap ko ek aisa surprize denge jise aap kabhi bhool nahi paayengi!"
